Thomas felt as though his brain would explode. Waaayyy too much was happening at once. First; his friend tells him that he's royalty, then he leaves; comes back (behaving a bit stranger than usual...[if that was possible]), and now he asks him if he wants to leave!) A nervous realization works it's way in. I don't even know this guy, and I was ready to go with him... One thing was clear about him, though; 'He's a total nut-case.' Carefully, the prince walks over to the door......and makes a break for it. Edited by Matadamia, August 15, 2010, 7:23 am.

As he was eating a man came up to him. We dont allow your kind in here he said to him. Tyrin just ignored the man and continued eating. Oh your a big man are you the man said as he laid his hand on Tyrins blades. That was all it took in an instant Tyrin was up a kick placed at the mans head. I dont allow your kind here now leave before i end your life. He kicked the guy and sat back down and as he began to eat a boy ran down the stairs and tripped over his chair. He got up and grabbed the back of the boys shirt lifting him off the ground. What are you running from boy. |

Before Thomas could even make it out of the door, he felt himself being pulled back and up by the collor of his tunic. (Fortunately for him,) the tunic that had been put on him was a size too big for the prince, and sliped off rather easily; revealing his lanky and [rather feminine] body. On his back.... was unbroken skin. There was no trace of wings of any sort. Rather than stay and answer the burly man's questions, Thomas swiftly and decidedly ran out the door and down the, still dewy, fields (half slipping; half running) into the infamous forest that was currently considered territory of the ~Night Kingdom~ |

Damn child does he not know that the forest is no place for children. He quickly ran outside unhitching his horse he set off at a gallop easily catching up with the boy. Stopping his horse in front of the boy he said You have no need in my Kingdom turn back the forests are dangerous. He glared at him now seeing him without the tunic on. You! Are you not the prince of the Winged kingdom? He demanded an answer from the boy not letting him pass until he answered his question. Seeing the fright on the boys face he turned his horse around boy i warn you that forest is very dangerous watch yourself. He pulled his fathers sword from his back and threw it to the boy This was my fathers sword i will be expecting it back. He then galloped back towards the inn.

Tentitively, Thomas dragged the sword to a nearby tree, and leaned it up agains it. (There was no way he could carry such a thing.) He stood there for a minute, trying to see if he could make out anything in the darkness of the forest. He could not. His adrenaline leaving him now, the young prince steped into the forest; his figure disapearing into the penumbra. ---- ((Although I hate to post an OCC comment in the IC thread; I have to apologize for the lazyness of this post. I have to go to work....like, now. >.<')) |

He looked out the window towards the forest watching the boy slowly walk up to a tree and lean the sword up against it. Was he planning on leaving the sword there? He swore to himself when he saw the boy continue into the forest leaving the blade behind. He quickly ran outside the inn and hopped back onto his horse and set off at a gallop for the forest. When he got to the edge of the forest he looked down the path at the boy wondering if he would make it through if not then the Night Kingdom would be to blame. He grabbed the sword and strapped it to his back and mounted his horse. The boys well being is no concern of my own i offered him the sword for protection and he cast it aside like some toy. He rode back toward the inn and paid his uncle for a room. |

The trek felt long. Finley had walked these woods numerous times but with the sun up and hunger rising in her, she felt sluggish and drained. At the halfway point, she put a hand against one of the gnarled trees to catch herself. She took in deep gulps of air, tilting her head side to side to stretch out her neck. The cold snow was beginning to seep up the cloak inch by inch. She shook out the bit of snow that was clinging to the bottom. When she was feeling better, she began walking again. She could have attempted running through the trees but thought better of it. If the simple walk left her a little weak, there was no way she would make it running. For now, conserving her energy was key. Getting to the town before nightfall would have been a miracle at this point. |

It was no surprise to me when he took a break for it. Everyone left me at some point, and that was why I never really reached out to people. I sighed, knowing I ruined yet another friendship. I didn't even bother to follow him, knowing I would scare him more. Caressing my earring, I sighed and looked in the mirror. One silver one blue eye staring at me blankly, sadly, like it was my fault for ever reaching out again. I took of my wig which held my long hair, and let my real, long green hair flow down to my hips. I always looked girly when this happened of course, and it disgusted me greatly. As I was packing up, I put my wig in, some girly clothes and my avorite ones: pants and t-shirts, before I put a stupid brush in it, and some knives. I hated this form, this thing I lived in to not scare people, but I knew if anyone knew my true form, it would be the end for me. For if they figure out what I am, I am their slave for live. I stopped myself, and laughed, knowing fully well I could protect myself form people figuring it out, and finished packing. Putting my hair in a bun, with a flower nestled in it, I almost threw up as I saw my reflection. My mother had always told me "beautiful", but I hated the word, truly. Dresses, peticoats, laughing about stupid things, wasn't the life for me. But, in all due respect, I was going to visit some royalty in the Night Kingdom, for I had an inkling that they were the ones that were the reason for the pitiful war with the humans. I caressed my earring, feeling it hum. I walked down the stairs, bored, frustrated. Just a few seconds. I told myself. Only a few to get out. But when I walked into the room, all eyes were set on me. I was no average human, so I wasn't quite as pretty than their prettiest maiden, I was twice as much. Trying to look like I was very feminine and weak, I giggled, and hid my earring before trying to walk out. It was then, another man bothered me. Again. "Hello young maiden." He had a smirk on his face, his breath smelled of beer. "Would you like a drink?" I almost shuddered but smiled. "No thank you, I must be on my way." His eyes looked at me in disappointment, and than lightened up again. "Oh come on just a couple drinks?"My eyes almost hardened. "No thank you." HE grabbed my arm. "Please?" His eyes were like a puppy's, complaining that he didn't get his way. How disgusting. "No, I really need to go.." He grabbed my stomach, trying to make me sit on his lap, his smell revolting. That was my limit. before I even sat on his lap, my elbow smashed into his skull, killing him. He fell on to the floor, the whole Inn in quiet gasps. "I was already in a bad mood from that Prince walking out on me, so just you is enough." I muttered. I looked around, looking at all the scared looks before my eyes met the man I had met in the woods. I winced, knowing he probably knew I was here by now, and muttered to myself I should look around before doing something reckless. I sighed, caressing my earring, before exiting outside with my bad, still hearing muffled whispers and scared little shrieks inside the Inn. There was my horse, Thunder, I called him. I wasn't very creative with names, or not with him, for I was too busy to care that day. He was pure black, his green eyes looking at me trustworthy. I loved this horse, but I guess it was because we were somehow related. I petted his long neck. "Hey boy." I whispered, tying my bag to the saddle. "You doing well today?" He nodded, neighing and shooting air through his nostrils. I laughed. "good." I sat on his saddle, and got my reigns. "You know where I am going don't you?" |

He saw the woman come down and immediately knew it was the woman from the forest. Any doubts he had were cleared when she killed the man with an elbow to the head. As she walked out he carefully and silently followed her out. When he wanted he could be so silent no one would know he was there. No i dont would you please inform me. If your going after the boy which i assume you are he went towards my Kingdom and since he is the prince here i assume he was going to meet up with my sister. Let me introduce my self. I am Tyrin King of the Night Kingdom. |

I almost screamed when I figured out the man had followed me, for I was not really on good terms with him when I had shown my power. I gulped caressing my earring fiercly. My horse looked at me sympathetically. "No i dont would you please inform me. If your going after the boy which i assume you are he went towards my Kingdom and since he is the prince here i assume he was going to meet up with my sister. Let me introduce my self. I am Tyrin King of the Night Kingdom." He was quite silent, I could give him that, and I was surprised myself I didn't hear him till maybe a few seconds he showed himself. This guy was dangerous, but not quite my level. Thank god. I tilted my head. What? Follow the Prince? Please. " No, actually, and if you are Night Kingdom, than you must be a vampire." I growled, upset at these races for eating some of my kind for its very pure and special blood. " Hello King, I was actually going to see your royalty family, but I guess I have already met you. I was going to ask why did you even start the war between the humans, killing the innocent princess? You guys have always disgusted me. My manners are losy on you." I snorted. |

Start the war he roared in anger. It was not I who started that war and even if the Night Kingdom were to blame it would not be my responsibilty I just killed my father the previous ruler. We did not kill the princess, but we were blamed and if we did it was my fathers doing not mine. He looked at the girl how dare she accuse me of this he thought to himself. Who are you and why did you want to see me family. He eyed her warily as she began rubbing her earring. Yes I am a vampire but I only feed upon the blood of animals I do not kill needlessly. The blood of a sentient being has never touched my lips. He snorted quite upset at the girl and her obvious hatred toward him and his kind. |

"animals" ringed on her head and she shuddered. She knew that was a good thing but.. She shook her head. The guy was now angry at her now. "Ok ok calm yourself mister. I jut needed to know. If that is all, than I must be on my way to try to break up the human Kingdoms. Yes yes I know you know i htat your kind, but that is for very personal reasons, and I bet you would too if you were in my place." I growled, turning Thunder. "Good day, King." I said scowling, riding away. My gut started to hurt though, and I was truly scared of him I stopped. I will never tell him what I am. Right. Keep going. But I didn't. |

Break up the human kingdoms hmm this will benefit my kingdom the people will cheer when the attacks stop. He noticed her stop and he took it as a sign to follow her so he mounted his horse Kuyler and rode up to her. If you wouldnt mind the company i would like to acompany you. If we stop the human kingdoms from fighting then it will benefit every kingdom not just thier's. He looked at her waiting for an answer. Surely she would not deny his company. He was offering to help her and if he personally went to the human kingdoms maybe he could stop the attacks on his people. Even if she said no he would ride towards the human kingdoms he had alreayd made up his mind. |

I gulped. Come with me? I would lose another comrade no doubt and I wasn't prepared for that again, but I sighed knowing he was determined. "Fine." I pushed my horse to a gallop, wishing I could do what my horse did, for I did it quite well, but even one vampire, or eve a human saw my form, they would inslave me quickly, or kill me ether way. I missed the way my hair shined, the way I would gallop through fields. I lowered my eyes. I wanted so bad to just get inslaved and at least be comfortable in my true form. |

He watched the girl as they galloped she seemed to be lost in though. He wondered what she was thinking about but didnt bother to ask. Where shall we go first? We need to make a plan one that would benefit the humans as much as it did the other races. He began to think of his sister and the young prince who was most likely on his way to see her. If he was not careful she could easily pursuade him into joining her. He didnt like his sister she was inately evil with the same melicious soul their father had. If she found out he killed thier father she would probably come for him. He knew he could handle her, but she might just as easily take it out on thier people. The people despised her for her cruelness rejoicing in the fact that he was the older of the two which made him the rightful heir to the throne. |

The woods were almost too quiet for her liking. Finley kept going though. She would need food sooner or later. After another hundred feet or so, she stopped. Footsteps were echoing through the trees. A smile spread across her face. She hid behind the closest tree to watch whoever it was. She watched as a young boy walked about through the trees. Her smile grew. This was going to be a fun one. As quietly as she could, she ran to another tree. She wanted to be behind the boy. She tiptoed out and began walking behind him, her feet never making a sound. Then she jumped onto his back. "Gotcha," she whispered in his ear. |

"Where shall we go first? We need to make a plan one that would benefit the humans as much as it did the other races." ( Just in further thought, she's a unicorn lol ) It made me shiver again, for I had never been close to this race. I was always taught they were horrible, blood-thirsty things, and that was it. Never be close to them. The sudden turn of events was so confusing and hard to process but I kept my ready stance. I just hoped he couldn't read minds. I thought over what I wanted to say, but looked at him. He was thinking about something, that was for sure, but I couldn't really tell what. But it seemed important, and my mind drifted off to my childhood as I looked at him. " Twilight oh sweetie. " My mother's words were trying to be sweet, but I could tell it was forced. My ears turned to her, my abnormal eyes watched her over. Her figure was beautiful, she was a beautiful unicorn, and that was probably the only reason father married her. I hated her personality, the way she forced herself to love me. Why couldn't she just come straight out? My mother's pure purple hair and white body, as all unicorns had their own unique hair for their power. Mine was red, and my eyes always scared her to the core. It almost amused me. I sighed as I stood up. "Yes mother?" I answered in a sweet tone, mocking her as well. She gave me a very scared and irritated look before forcing a smile. " Would you like to hang with the other kids? " I thought about it. Hmm. My element was fire, I burn everything and everyone, the word for destruction as our elder described. My eyes were one blue one silver, also prophecied as the destroyer of the unicorns. I couldn't be more unlucky. I snorted, air puffing out of my nostrils. I shook my head, my hair falling into my face. A coupe gold strands were there as natural highlights. " Why would they want to play with me if even my mother hates me? " I asked glaring. She smiled, before she walked away, her tail swinging in triumph. I sighed, sad and lonely, before I layed down on the ground once again and looked in the lake. I woke up from my daydream, and looked over to Tyrin, now probably wondering why I haven't answered. I smiled nervously, not used to company. " Well, I didn't really have one, I was thinking I had plenty of time to think about it on the way, but do you have any ideas?" Thunder neighed and I patted his neck. |

Wandering through the forest, Thomas remembers a story he had once read (in the castle's library, where he spent most of his time when not in his room) about a witch that lived in this very forest. She would lure travelers in with her melodic singing and.... Thomas shook his head. It was really not helpful to be thinking about such things. That was obviously just a story to scare people into staying out of the forest (not that anyone would want to enter it.) An owl's hooting is heard in the background, and all the color drains from Thomas's face. 'Best to think of something else.' Thomas thought, nervously; trying to distract himself. 'Really...What ever posessed me into running into this forest, of all places. I mean, is it even possible that any place on Earth be this dark???' Thomas feels a pang of guilt in his chest. An image of the green haired boy interupts his thoughts.... "What's that all about?" he mummbles to himself. "I have no reason to feel guilty...I didn't even know that guy. He could have wanted to kidnap me, for all I know. It's really unreasonable to expect me to trust him...I..made the right choice." He stops walking, and looks back. 'Still...' Thomas almost jumped out of his skin when he heard a malicious, feminie voice wisper in his ear. "Gotcha." The weight of the girl was too much for the young prince to handle, and he topples onto the ground; face forward. Edited by Matadamia, August 15, 2010, 7:24 am.

No, I have never been to the Human Kingdoms so i do not know where they are. So it is up for you to decide our destination. He left it at that and resumed his thoughts not noticing her apparent pause. If she is in the forest she could easily catch him off guard he should have taken the blasted sword. Foolish boy one of these days he is going to get killed and like last time my kingdom will get blamed. I supposed i might have to end up doing damage control. He looked at her I never got your name if i recall correctly I introduced myself now its your turn. He was trying to keep up with the small talk but he barely knew this girl, and even though the Elves and the Vampires were on good terms she seemed to hate him. |

Finley let out a chilling laugh as the boy fell. She sat on his lower back, one leg on either side of him, to keep him down there. She leaned forward, grabbed a handful of hair and pulled his head up. He had a long neck for being small. She licked her lips at the thought of sinking her teeth in. "And here I thought I'd have to make it all the way to the town to eat. You're a pretty little specimen, I must say," she said in a low, almost childlike voice. She stuck her nose into the handful of hair she had. He had a good scent about him but there was something under it that warned her not to do this. She shook that away. It would take a lot more than that to turn her away from a meal. Her hunger was getting the best of her. Finley leaned in close to his neck. She kissed his racing pulse. Into his neck, she said, "Give me one good reason not to bite down." She pulled on the handful of hair. It exposed his neck a little more. |

He looked over to her. Its nice to meet you Twilight. Thank you for your assitance back in the forest but it was not needed. He looked away from her pondering what she had said. The only race he could think of that was enslaved by the Elves were the Unicorns but she definitely did not resemble a Unicorn. What was she? He kept his thoughts to himself not wanting to be rude and ask her what she was. |

Finley frowned and dropped his head back in the snow. She let out an angry growl. The trees felt like they were pressing in on her now. She still didn't get food and she wanted this one to be awake when she killed him. She got off his back and shook out her cloak. The snow and water were clinging to it. She put the hood back up in case any others came traipsing through the woods. She bent down again to begin examining his pockets. He had a bag of gold on him. A lot of it. Finley narrowed her eyes and stared at his sleeping face. "Maybe you're more important than I thought," she mused. She hung the bag of money from her belt. Then she bent down and picked up the boy in her arms. He was going to come home with her. She got back to the castle. The guards inside bowed. "Someone get me live food. Do it now and bring it back soon, you should know my tastes," she barked. They bowed again and one left to go hunt. Finley brought the boy up to her room. She tied his arms and legs to the bedposts. That would hold him until he woke up. She grabbed a book and sat in the window, waiting for a meal or him to wake up. |

I said nothing at all as we rode down the road to the human grounds. But than, I stopped. My hearing was exceptionally well, but was a bit dulled in this form, but I could still hear it. The Prince's slowing heart. My entire face looked over to the sounds, a look of concern on my face. "Oh no.. Oh no Oh no.." I looked over to my companion Tyrin, letting my emotion seep into my face. I looked sad, concerned, but a bit tired. I looked away again, and turned Thunder toward the noise. "I'm sorry Tyrin, but I promised myself that i would protect this Prince, and it would just be more trouble for you if.." The smell that drifted into my nostrils was unmistakeable. It almost smelled like Tyrin. " your sister killed him. Come on, let's take a detour." Not waiting for his answer, I kicked Thunder and we galloped toward the castle of the Night Kingdom. Why I had a connection for this boy? Because his life was so much like mine, just a little better, and I was probably the only one who could understand him. I took scissors out of my back and cut my hair, disgusted at the long strands and threw it into the wind. It was short again, and I made my hairstyle the way it was before. But this time, it wasn't a wig. It felt good to have no hair on my neck. I stopped maybe a couple feet away, and guards stopped me. "What business do you have here?" "I'm here to save a friend." I whispered evily, before I burned him, my earring burning as well, and the other guard running away. I could smell the Prince's scent up in the tower. Should I climb, or massacre the building? Climb. I jumped up, and starting climbing the castle. I almost tripped and a stone fell down, making me shiver. If I fell it would take a while to recover. Especially in this form. |
