Leo tightened his arms around her when she stepped around to face him. He kissed her lightly when the lightening struck. He pulled her closer, determined to protect her.

Leo watched the old man and heard Fatalia call him 'father'. So he's her father huh. Well, I'm screwed. Leo heard hre beg for him, he didn't want her to. If this was what was going to happen, it was better to just let it. To let sleeping dogs lie was an understatement.

Leo could tell the man was angry, but he wasn't sure if it was himself or at her. He took a deep breath, right before he was threatened. Leo didn't want mercy, he wouldn't except it. He was getting ready to fight, or rather his style of fighting which was mostly dodging until the opponent was too tired to fight anymore.

Leo saw Fatalia jump in front of him, to take the blow instead. Leo didn't want her to do that. Leo would've gladdly yaken the shot if it meant that she was safe. He relaxed enough to look at her, and he saw the look in her eye that said she didn't esnt anything to happen to him.

"I'm not running. I don't care what happens to me. You know that." He was trying to get her to back off. Leo knew that she was probably the only one able to stop her fathers wrath, but he would take his chances.

Fatalia could feel her strength buckling and waning under the sheer force of her Father's power. "You may not care about what happens to you, my Love. But.. I do! Now get out of his line of sight! I'll trying to hold him off.. for as long as I can." Though her sword wasn't straining under the pressure, her body was beginning to feel fatigued. The electricity kept coming and the old man seemed to be enjoying himself just a little bit more than he should've. It was at that moment that Fatalia knew her Father had lost it, no longer caring about his once favoured daughter. In a little way, this hurt Fatalia.

But regardless of that, she had someone else to live for now. And she wasn't about to let him turn to dust. She now realised fully that Leo wasn't intending on running away. She sighed as though she had the luxury at that moment. "Fine! Then if you're not going to run like I ask, at least give me a hand with him!" Only a few more seconds, and the Angel would end up with a new hole - through her chest. Her time was nearly up if noone was going to help her. "Leo! Whatever happens, remember! I love you, eternally for eternity!" A tear began to stream down her face.

Fatalia knew that if she could just stop that flow of lightning, it'd be a fair fight and there was a chance she could take her Father down. But with the current circumstances, things looked quite bleak indeed. Her left knee began to buckle under her, and her arms were beginning to grow overly tired. She guessed that she had about five seconds before her body would give up. Five seconds before that sword fell. Five seconds before her untimely end.

Leo was a bit shocked at her words but he didn't let it last long. He let his eyes scan her father for a spot to attack, a weak point. He found one, but he checked for another several times before decided on what to do.

He look at Fatalia and saw that a tear fell down her cheek. He wanted to wipe it offf, but he needed to help her first. He heard her talking to him, but he didn't hear the words. He sighed to himself and backed up, right before dhe said that she loved him. It stopped him for a moment but he knew this couldn't wait.

He looked over at her, letting a ferw tears of his own fall. He knew there was a good chance of him dying after what he planned to do. "I love Fatalia. No matter what hppens to me, I'll always love you."

Leo took a deep breath and ran before jumping up and grabbing onto the arm that was shooting out lightening. It took Leo a moment before he had his grip and was able to bite anything. Leo dug his teeth deep into Fatalia's father's arms, hitting muscle. He drank as much as he could even though he knew it would probably kill him. He finished drinking and let go right as her father started shakig his arm to get him off.

Leo jumped up again and did the same. He continued several more times untill he couldn't take in anymore blood. He was coughing a lot when he landed for the last time. He couldn't stand up. She knows I love her, more than anything. I can die without regrets. He was trying to walk away from the two but he found it hard to walk. Once he fell over he didn't get back up, but he dragged himself over until he was near some rocks a bit away from the water. He made sure that he could see Fatalia and her father before layoing down on his side. He was dying, and there was only one antidote fot ir, but he had no chance of getting it.

As the power shifted away from her, Fatalia could already feel her strangth returning. Getting back up on both feet, she was about to run straight at her Father, sword brandished. But then, something stopped her. Horror plagued her face as she watched Leo taking her Father's blood from him. Blood was not a good thing to take from a God! It was like taking blood from an Angel! Father bellowed and tried shaking Leo off and some part of her hope that he would succeed, so that Leo wouldn't come to any more harm. Unforetunately for all of them, it wasn't working and Father was beginning to falter.

As soon as Leo jumped off her Father and began slinking off in what could only be described as full and utter pain. He was coughing up a lot of blood and not all of it was Father's... As he crashed to the ground, Fatalia let out an involuntary scream. "Leo!" As she rushed towards her fallen Love, Father began to stand, wearily but surely. With a single swipe, he knocked Fatalia into another nearby tree. "You ungrateful harlet! I raise you in the highest regard, favour you above all the other Angels and give you the most love and best treatment. And THIS is how you repay me?" He began to limp towards her, his arm bloodied up and basically useless.

Fatalia's head throbbed, and her muscles once again ached. But there was something new running through her that wanted to be expressed. Something dangerous. "You've no idea how I feel old man." Her voice was calm, collected but there was definitely a hint of poison in that tone. "You, of all people should feel my wrath above all else for what you did to me. Lie, steal away my resolve and keep me locked away up in Heaven! And now, you threaten the life of both the man I love, and myself." The Angel stood slowly, a blood-red aura surrounding her. Her eyes were crimson as ever, but there was something different about them. They looked.. more wholistic somehow.

Father continued to walk forward, not phased by this. His voice stilled bellowed. "I threaten you for a reason! Do you know that this could do to the fighting if you two became bonded? Think about the repurcussions of your actions, you stupid being." He raised a hand as he reached her and swung, striking her straight across the face. It all happened in an instant. Suddenly, Father's arm was separated from the rest of him. Fatalia hadn't moved a muscle nor had she made a single swing of the sword that she clung to tightly, but anyone with a brain knew that by some circumstance, it had been her doing. Blood began bursting from where the limb had once been.

Father stepped back in agony, yelling to the Highest of the Heavens. "How did you..? Ah--" She cut him off quickly and calmly, her expression still blank and looking dangerous. "Leave us now, or next you'll lose something more vital." The God was seething with anger, the pain egging him on. "I will return Fatalia. Mark my words!" A flash of lighting struck him then, and in that flash he was gone. The brokeness in Fatalia's eyes disappeared and immediately her thoughts went to Leo. Half collapsing, she crawled over to the one she loved, draping an arm over his chest. "Leo! Are you ok?" After a few seconds, she realised it was obvious that he wasn't. "What do I do to fix this? You're not leaving me, you promised!"

Leo had known that the arm was going to fall off. He did that on purpose. Leo heard Fatalia's words but was too weak to answer. He knew he would have to summon him, but he didn't want to. Leo's breathing was getting shallower, and he was losing more blood, and quickly. He looked uo at Fatalia the besy he could and tried to apologize for what was about to happen, but his lips woudn't form words.

He closed hjis eyes and summoned the Devil. It was the only thing Leo knew that would stop him from dying. He wasn't looking forward to this, but he knew that it was necessary to keep hihs promise to Fatalia. Leo passed out before the Devil could arrive.

A fire appeared and the devil appeared in the fire. "Who dares to summon me?!?!" he roared, but then caught sight of Leo. He looked the boy up and down before saying anything. "Stupid Leo, what have you done now?" he asked, hitting the bottom of Leo's foot with his staff. The Devil looked at the girl, knowing that she was worried about him. "He drank the blood of a god to save you, didn't he?" he asked her. He wanted to know everything before saving Leo. He kneeled down and looked the girl in the eyes, expecting an answer. "If you don't answer me, he will die."

Fatalia was now sobbing heavily before her love. He couldn't even speak to tell her what he needed. All hope was lost, and there was nothing she could do to prevent his end. There was so much left for them to do as a couple, but now that future was drifting away with every breath that Leo took. The relationship they had was like no other. They connect so easily and went so well together. From the moment he'd kissed her, she'd somehow known that it was different. Angels only fell in love once.

Suddenly, the Angel could feel a blazing heat against her back. Turning over with what energy she had left, Fatalia was just in time to see the fires disappear and Satan himself standing where they'd been not a second before. He was angry that someone had summoned him... The girl's eyes were wide with shock. "Leo..?" Had he done this? He drank the blood of God to save you didn't he?" The Devil's frown was not at all something to look at. Fatalia was almost instantly reminded of the way her Father had stared through her.

Fatalia nodded weakly, answering his question and nearly bursting into tears again. It had really been all of her fault. How had he know what had transpired between them and her Father? The God of Chaos now knelt before them both staring down at Leo's poisoned body, and Fatalia couldn't believe her eyes. He wanted to help someone..? Of all the beings on... or above - or in - the Earth that would give Leo a chance, he was the last anyone would've expected, surely. "My Father came down from Heaven and tried to kill the both of us, ignorant of the fact that both of us are neutral now."

"Are you going to help him?" Fatalia's voice was layered with utter desperation as the Devil knelt at Leo's side. Was he truly able to help the Vampire? And.. If he was somehow able, would he do it?

"Yes I do." Satan smiled at Leo. It had been years since he last saw him. Satan turned Leo's head so it was pointing at him. Please don't be red. He lifted one of Leo's eyelids and looked into his eye. The white hadn't turned red yet, and he could still be saved.

"I will save my son." Satan said and he bent down. He had to drink the God's blood out of him. He gently bit Leo's neck, deep enough to go into his throat. Satan sucked the blood out, spitting it out onto the ground when his mouth was full. He couldn't drink blood.

Fatalia watched as the Devil sucked the poison right out of her Leo. His son. Perhaps *that* was why Father had become so enraged. She was dating the Spawn of the Devil. Not that it mattered to her, she loved him no matter who he was. And if the Devil was risking his own life by drinking his enemies blood to save the life of another, surely the Demon side wasn't so evil after all. All that mattered now though. was Leo's life and whether it could continue or not.

Not sure what to do while the "procedure" took place, Fatalia unhitched a small satchel from her belt, lifting the lid and taking a small vial from within it. The little glass container held within it semi-clear, silver liquid. Popping the tiny cork on the vial, the Agent lifted her head back and swallowed every drop. Suddenly, her hands began to twitch, and she began to shake unsteadily (not violently, but enough to make a noticeable movement). Everntually, the sting of the hand Father had struck her with, plus all other pains, aches and bruises disappeared from her skin, leaving it flawless as it had been before.

The shaking soon stopped and the only blood that Fatalia could see was the dryed out kind from all her now healed wounds. There was not a scratch on her. Angel blood was a heavenly find, and it had helped her out of many tight spots before. Her energy was now fully replenished, and as she stretched she could feel no aches from the lack of strength she'd been suffering moments before. Turning back to face the Devil and his son, the girl could only watch as the blood continued to drain from Leo's body.

Satan stop, there was no blood left. He sat up straight and waited until Leo opened his eyes. He knew that Leo would first turn to Fatalia before noticing him.

Leo opened his eyes, and saw his father sitting next to him. Leo sat up and looked over at Fatalia. "I know what I did was stupid, but can you blame me?" He took her and smiled at her, kissing her forehead. "I love you." he said and turned to face his father.

Leo stood up. He knew his father was pissed off at him and he knew that he was going to be punished for it. He sighed as Satan stood up as well. Satan looked over at Fatalia, and said "You should leave."

Satan grabbed the front of Leo's shirt and threw him into a tree. Leo landed and fell to the ground. He got to his hands and knees when a whip lashed across his back. It hurt him, but he wouldn't give his father the satisfaction of his screams.

Leo hoped that Fatalia wasn't watching. He didn't want her to see him like that, at the mercy of his father, getting whipped.

Fatalia was overjoyed as Leo sat up, and clutched him tightly in her grasp. "If you ever do something crazy like that again, I'll kill you myself! Got it?" she joked, still half hysterical. He had nearly *died* after all. As he kissed her forehead, she damned near melted. "I love you too. Please look after yourself, alright? You *do* have a reason to continue living now remember? Me." Another hug before Fatalia could feel the stare of Satan bearing down on her again. She looked up to see his intense glare, and nearly shyed away from it. He was ordering her to leave.

The Angel didn't even get time to react before he threw Leo into a nearby tree, which nearly split in two upon contact with Leo's reinforced skin. No matter who he was though, there wasn't any way that it wouldn't have hurt. Leo was only barely getting up before Satan went to strike again. She was absolutely speechless as the Master of Evils summoned a firey whip to his hand, lashing it forward and striking his own son across the back. Fatalia winced as he was struck, unable to take her eyes off the scene before her. She was confused, hadn't he just *saved* Leo's life?! Was he planning to take it himself?!

Leo made no sound as the whip cracked over his skin. Fatalia was now thinking she'd rather face her Father's lightning again over this form of... of toture! "Stop it now!!" It took her a moment to realise that she was crying again. But after what she was witnessing, could you really blame her. "What could he have done to deserve this inhumane punishment?" Though the Angel was crying, she could feel her heartbeat beginning to race, and anger was welling up inside her. Everything had been fine until both of their Fathers had interfered. Her crimson eyes began to fluxuate as they had before. She was losing her cool. "Stop it now.." She whispered again.

Satan continued whipping Leo. He hadn't heard what Fatalia had said, and he didn't care. He believed that Leo needed to be punished for his stupidity. Satan whipped Leo harder and harder, trying to get him to cry out.

Leo could feel the tears falling from the pain, but he refused to make a sound. He was losing his strength and his arms were shaking. He was about to pass out again, but he held on to consciousness. He heard Fatalia tell Satan to stop. He was stunned that she was still there, but a moment later he was embarrassed by the fact that she saw him this weak.

Leo waited, hoping his father would stop soon. He couldn't handle anymore pain. Please babe, just go. You don't need to see this. I'll come find you, please just leave.

Satan got more maniacal with the whipping and brought another whip into the mix. He needed to teah his son a lesson, and this was the only way.

Leo felt the second whip and his arms started shaking more. His breathing got shallow again and he could feel that he was about to pass out. He wished that Fatalia was gone, that she wasn't watching this.

Fatalia's blood-red aura was beginning to return, the air around her looking like dark flames. She no longer felt afraid of the Devil. She'd stood up to one God before, and she'd do it again. Her teeth clenched tightly together as she stood. Her left hand balled up into a fist and in her right, a bright flash as her sword appeared once more. "I said, Stand Down." Her voice was still chillingly calm and she took a small step towards Satan, who kept relentlessly hashing at her Leo. She could see the tears plainly in his eyes.

In response to this, her eyes stopped fluctating, now simply glowed the most crimson red anyone would ever see. Her wings began to stretch out, and her sword rang as she prepared to charge toward her enemy. Fatalia's Aura began to flare. She could see Leo on the ground begging her to leave with his eyes. But now, it was her time to do something stupid. She had all her energy back and was ready for round two with a God. The Sun was now disappearing over the horizon, sloly being replaced as the night took over. The moon was full and clearly visible.

Blood was to be spilled this night, one way or another. "Lucifer!" screeched Fatalia, calling the Devil out by his first name. The name so few people knew. All the birds in the area instantly took flight at the sound. Surely, this would have got the Dark God's attention. "I have warned you three times now. If you do not relinquish the boy, then you will deal with me. Now, Unhand him!" Getting into ready stance, Fatalia was absolutely seething with anger. Her aura flared violently now, like a massive crimson flame that both lit and darkened the area around them.

If Satan didn't stand down, he was promised a side of Fatalia that noone wanted to get on. The unleashing of the side that held within it War, Destruction and Death.

"Very well then, but I will be back." Satan said as he let the flames surround him again. He allowed himself to vanish back into the underworld. He needed to rest. Satan sighed, knowing that Leo hadn't gotten his full punishment, and he would make sure that Leo got it the next time they met.

Leo's arms gave out. He looked over at Fatalia, glad that she had gotten his father to leave. "Thanks babe." he said, but it was barely about a whisper. He wanted to go over to her and thank her, but he was in too much pain to move. He groaned, trying to get up but he was unable to do so.

He had to settle for watching her and waiting until she realized that he couldn't move. He managed to smile at her, but it was a weak one. He had no idea what to do to make the pain go away, or regain his strenght besides wait it out.

Leo didn't want to be stuck there, even if she was there with him. He hoped that she knew a way to get rid of the pain and the tiredness that he felt.

Once again, the glow in her eyes disappated and Fatalia damn near collapsed, falling to one knee as the King of Darkness returned to the firey depths. Her hearing picked up Leo's faint call of gratitude and she could only just barely reply. The dark side of her really took it's toll on her body. "It's alright Hun. Unless we have another God to deal with, and I highly doubt that is the case." Her humor wasn't so humorous when she was in pain and almost breaking down.

Crawling back over to her love, she could feel her heart desperately begging her to let her sadness out. How she really felt.. As Leo's smile came into her view, she nearly broke down there and then. But no, they wouldn't have her that easily. She knew that Leo was broken beyond her capabilities. But what about the capabilities of that of another vampire...? "Leo, we have to go back. This is the only way I know how to get you fixed up." The tears were welling up as she spoke, the depressing mood almost taking her over. She felt so helpless.

She was speaking of course, about the vampires they'd seen briefly during their first meeting. It was a long shot.. but what if they were the only ones who could help him. "I'm sorry my Love.." she snivelled. "But you don't get a choice in this. I'm going to do my best to get you better, no matter what. I'm not waiting around to let you die, again." Her legs nearly buckled a few times as she scooped up her boyfriend. Her wings spread out, and with a few powerful flaps, they were high in the sky and on their way back to the abandoned town.

Half an hour later, they arrived on the outskirts. Fatalia was now living on the love of her Leo alone, carrying him almost unsteadily in her arms. She felt so devastated about all that had happened. That's what happened when you're Father tried to kill you, your boyfriend kills himself to save your life, and the Devil brings him back simply to torture him further. All right before her God-damned eyes..! She couldn't help the way she did. Perhaps sleep would help, she didn't know.

Arriving in the familiar street, Fatalia shouted to the Heavens, unimaginable agony resonating in her voice. "Somebody HELP! Anybody!"

Leo wanted to object to her desicion, but he had no energy left. He closed his eyes on the trip back to the town. On the way, his mind gave him something to amuse him.

He was sitting on a beach, yet he was a human again. Fatalia was there as well and they were happen. Nothing was wrong in the world and nothing would go wrong. They were only talking for a while but things got intense.

They ended up kissing, Fatalia on Leo's chest with him laying down. He could feel his body smile, even though he had no control over it. In his mind, things went further.

Leo opened his eyes when Fatalia landed. He heard her calling for help and he gave her ar,ss a break by rolling out of them. He was able to stand, but he wrapped his arm around her shoulders to keep himself up. The wounds helped as he rested, but they wouldn't heal completely.

I could smell the scent of blood like it was an instinct, I could hear the fluttering heart. My eyes found my target. An angel, surprising me at first, but making me relax. My sister was asleep in the cottage, and I knew it would be bad to contact anyone else, much less expose us, but I really couldn't not help someone dying right in front of me. I sighed as I walked over to this strange couple I could even smell their love.

The vampire was the same one I had met before, but I didn't really mind, for I had ignored him that day anyway. I only confronted him to protect my sister. Didn't really have anything against him. "Ma'am, I believe you need help no doubt?" They both looked exhausted, and only my sister and I could heal this kind of wounds, for our blood was royal, and very old, so it would work with even a couple of drops. I would ether have put blood in my mouth and kiss him, (Not a good idea in my mind ) i shivered. Or, something more risky, I would cut myself as well, and give the blood to him. What a pain.

I took him out of her arms, and lifted him atop my shoulder, while beconing her to follow me. I went into the house and put him in a chair, as I studied both of them.

I heard my brother come in and that's when I walked out the door. An angel and vampire. They both looked like they were about to die. "Brother d you need help?" I whispered, concerned. The love between them seemed fierce, and I wouldn't want one of them to die. It was almost the same connection I had to my brother, except it was family love. I put my hand on the Angel's shoulder and whispered," It's ok. My brother is great at this stuff. "

Brothy gave me an impatient and irritated look. I laughed.

Fatalia sighed with relief as the vampire took her love into his home. Even if she could've spoken in that moment, words couldn't of expressed her gratitude. When he ushered her in as well, she simply bowed and followed. The owner of the home seemed to stare at her and then at Leo for a few minutes at a time, and Fatalia began to wonder whether she'd done the right thing by bringing them here. At that moment, another vampire -female this time - walked in, and Fatalia gulped with concern.

But when she asked her brother whether he needed help and gave a genuine look of worry as she stared in Fatalia's direction, the Angel somehow knew that they were both in good hands. The female walked towards her and placed a delicate hand to a delicate shoulder, giving her a reassurance that her brother knew what he was doing. Fatalia couldn't help but feel extra relief at the reassurance, but the pain in her heart still didn't subside. How she felt may have started to mask itself, but there was no chance that any of it had disappeared.

She still wanted to cry. She wanted to hurt something. She still felt feelings she'd never felt before, and this was not meant in a good way. Something was wrong. It had been ever since the "Divine Intervention." What would become of her now? She hoenstly didn't know.

Leo felt himself get picked up and carried, but he knew it wasn't Fatalia. He didn't want her to get too far away from him. He let himself relax for the journey.

He felt it when he was put on a chair. His head rolled back, then he straighten it, opening his eyes. He looked over and Fatalia, he knew she was worried about him.

He reached out for her hand. He held it, squeezing it lightly, giving her reassurance about him. He didn't want her to worry about him. He could take care of himself and he wanted her to know that.

I really wasn't in the mood for this crap, but the concerned and irritated look Sis was giving me, and the way that couple just...ugh..even looked at each other, made me do it. After thinking about it for a while, I walked over to this vampire guy, and looked him in the eyes. He looked tired, exhausted, hurt, but he wasn't going to die. "You awake enough? The only thing that doesn't disgust me, or if your girlfriend wants to do it.." He eyed the angel. "Well you can ether drink my blood now, or I can give blood to your girlfriend, she has to put it in her mouth I might add, and kiss you so the blood goes into your system. It's your choice o' injured man." I sighed, and stood up, looking at both again, carefully.

Well my brother wasn't a very social guy, and the way he just let down things was just too straight forward for this kind of couple. I sighed and rubbed my temple, wondering how I was even related to him. I looked at the angel again, with a smile of reassurance, knowing she might be a bit disgusted. "We can leave if you choose the second or I can bring you with me if you don't want to watch the first." I always kept people's feelings in mind, and this was the only thing my brother lacked.

Fatalia was only barely in the room. Physically, she was pretty much near the middle, but mentally she was off in her own reality. Not a pleasant reality either. Everything seemed to be off colour and she could feel depression, the anger emnating from within her. As Leo grabbed her hand, she jumped shakily, coming back to reality in time for the owner of the house to give Leo his options. She began to shake at the thought of her mouth filled with blood that wasn't her own. Or even Leo's for that matter.

It wasn't Leo's choice alone for what he wanted to do. Even if he chose the second option, Fatalia would have considered refusing. She was not in the right state of mind to do anything. Perhaps they were all blind to it, but she could feel herself slipping. Slipping from reality, slipping from life. She was so far gone now, her thoughts contemplated the ending of her own life. She needed help, and not the kind that these vampires could offer. She loved her dear Leo, but didn't want him to have to be dragging her around like this for the rest of his immortal life.

The female nodded at the Angel, more reassurance coming through her. The response was less than cordial. "I don't want to do it!" She cried, shying away next to the seat Leo was on, and taking her hand back from him. Tears began gushing forward from her eyes as she began to reach her breaking point. What had her encounters with the deities of Light and Dark done to her? She threw a finger in the direction of the male vampire, "You do it! I don't want to do this anymore!" With that she got up and ran out, still crying hard as she burst through the front door.

'Friends will come and go, but you're stuck with your Mates forever."

Leo watched Fatalia leave. He wanted to follow her, but he didn't have the energy. He looked up at the vampire girl from earlier "Can you please bring her back?" Leo wanted Fatalia to be close by.

He sighed and looked at the other vampire. "Looks like I have to take the first." He wasn't looking forward to it, but he knew it would heal him up faster.

Leo sat up a bit more and cracked his neck. He hoped that Fatalia would come back. He wanted to get the blood thing over with and soon. His head was starting to hurt.
