He slowly removed the scabbard and sword from his back making note of the distance of the Behemoth. He removed the sword from its scabbard and laid the scabbard on the ground. He jammed his blade in ground and with the strength that only comes from long days practicing with a sword he began to slowly cut a large oval into the earth. When the oval was finished he pulled the sword from the ground and began to cut the oval into pieces making it easier for them to lift. When he was finished he started to remove each piece throwing it aside causing the piece to crumble. He looked up at the man holding the body of Marcus. "Come place his body here and put his weapon in his hands. After the man placed Marcus in the ground he began to place the displaced earth on top of the body. Exp Gained: 782 Total: 6848 |

Tor nodded to everyone giving their respects to Marcus. It was such a solemn victory. He would have helped, but he felt only he and Lock would actually be able to hold Marcus. Besides, there would be no need to set him down. The Earth would claim him soon enough. Several minutes passed as the one called Tyrin dug up the earth with just his hands and sword. He was astonished by how powerful the blades were. Able to aid a human in digging such a fine burial hole in a matter of minutes? It was indeed powerful. Tor did as he was instructed, but continued holding the scythe that Marcus had used. "To be honest, I do not understand your burial methods, Tyrin, but we must hold on to the scythe so it may choose another. It is one of the few weapons that can hinder those monsters from my realm. We do not want to lose it." EXP: Gained - 823 Total - 12674 ((I would like to point out that Tor is not a human. He is a large half-dragon.)) |

Sighing Edward lifted his head again and watched as the one named Tor carried the fallen Marcus over to the crudely made grave. Giving a spare glance at the fine scythe that Marcus had left behind Edward wondered if he might be able to use that scythe as well. His sword was great as it was but a scythe gave him a much longer and wider range. 'I wonder if the weapons are exchangeable, it would make my fighting style a lot better if I could use something like that scythe,' he thought letting the idea play through his mind for a bit. Dusting himself off Edward glanced about the group looking at each of his allies to make sure he had memorized their faces so that he might avoid attacking them accidentally. Two of them stood out quite more than the rest. Tor was huge, if Edward remembered right Lock had told him that Tor was actually a half-dragon. The second was the small girl, Reia, despite how young she was she was quite adept when it came to casting. Experience Gained: 967! Current Experience: 7549! Reia stood watching as a grave was dug by Tyrin. He used his sword to do so, which seemed odd to her. However she didn't much care either because she didn't have to do the work. When the grave was fully dug she watched as Marcus was placed inside then buried, his scythe remaining with Tor. "It will be interesting to carry both your sword and his scythe. And difficult to do so in battle." She pointed out however she guessed he could just put the scythe down somewhere safe when in battle, or when he simply didn't need to carry it. Tor was slightly puzzled by the girl. She seemed much wiser than what should be expected of a human at such a young age. To show the solution to the problem, he removed his sword from the straps on his back and placed the scythe's handle in its place. He would just carry his sword. He had much more stamina than a human and it wouldn't bother him at all. "You see, Little One? No bother. That is why I don't wear a sheath for my sword. I am able to carry a variety of weapons. Now, are you sure you can keep pace with us?" he inquired. Carrying the little one wouldn't be much of a problem for him either. She probably didn't even weigh more than his armor. "If you like, I could carry you on my shoulders," Tor offered. EXP: Gained - 721 Total - 13395 |

He watched as Tor placed marcus inside the earth. He didnt quite understand what Tor had meant when he said it would choose another. Did his sword choose him? He pondered this as he began to fill in the hole with dirt pile finishing in a matter of minutes. He had become accustomed to this. Every one who worked at the renaissance festival had to sign a death cirtificate in case of death during a tornament. He was the one who generally buring the men placing thier weapon in thier hand was a custom they had adopted. It was meant for the man to retain his honor even in death. He looked up at Tor seeing his size he was a behemoth of a man if thats what he really was. He turned to Lock "we must prepare the Behemoth is nearing if we hope to defeat it we need a plan. I am a great stratgist i say we attack in twos going for his legs before attacking its body. Do you have a better idea." Exp Gained: 890 Total: 7638 |

Watching the scythe with a rather disappointed look Edward gave up on the idea of trying to switch out his weapon. Rather than listening to the conversation Tor and Reia were holding Edward turned his attention to the large mountain known as the Behemoth that was approaching ever closer. The ground shook with each cumbersome step it took. If Edward was still enough he could feel the entire vibration radiate through his body. Looking over to the man that had spoken up about a strategy Edward quietly laughed inside his head. It didn't take a genius to figure out a strategy like that but then again it took an idiot to actually attempt it. Deciding it was time for him to speak up he interjected, "You realize we're talking about a moving mountain right? Now from the demonstration from the grave you just carved you and Tor could probably pierce it's natural armor but for us who aren't as strong we're going to need a weak point to strike at." Experience Gained: 953! Current Experience: 8502! ((We are talking about a giant moving mountain here so Edward's just making the logical point :S)) |

"I am only assuming but the weak point should probably be on his back since he is moving about the earth would be shaken up quite a lot. Thus making it easier to penetrate. Me and Tor can attack the legs to distract it while the rest of yall make your way up to its back to attack at the weaker spots." The man had made a point but if they were able to cripple it by taking out its legs it would make the Behemoth that much easier to take down. "If me and Tor are able to take out its front to legs it will imobilize it making it easier for us to defeat yes it puts us at risk, but the creature moves quite slowly so im sure we could flank the beast." He quickly said this as the Behemoth drew ever closer. This was going to be a difficult battle but with the right battle plan they could come out succesfull and with the girls scanning abilities she could easily find the weak point. Tor countered her observation about carrying the scythe and his sword by putting the scythe in the straps he used to carry his sword. "I guess that works." She said. She understood his logic some, if you're going to be carrying two weapons around may as well have your primary weapon out and ready. She giggled lightly when he suggested he could carry her. It would be fun to ride around on his shoulders, towering over everyone. She would be able to see everything, or at least more than she can currently see. She giggled again, and started lightly hopping some. "Yay!" She said as she bounced happily, "I will be taller than everyone." She could hear some talking some ways away from her, a plan being form for taking down the beast. She looked toward the moving mountain, then to her staff. Her attacks probably wouldn't cause much damage against it, but her fire may. Exp gained - 874 Current Exp - 8268 |

Shrugging his shoulders slightly Edward simply replied, "You guys go ahead and do what you want, I know that I won't be able to do anything serious until we can reach a weak point." As if to prove what he was saying Edward unsheathed the sword from its place at his side. With a strong thrust Edward attempted to pierce the ground only to have the blade bounce back up sending a strong vibration throughout his entire arm. Taking a glance at the ground where he had attempted to pierce it all that had changed was that a small piece of road about one inch deep was missing. Holding the sword so that he might examine the tip Edward was satisfied to find that no damage had been done. Returning to the sword to its rightful place in the sheath at his side Edward said, "Well, until I'm able to help I'll be in your care. Hopefully after this battle everyone will still be in one piece." With that Edward found a place on the curb to sit until the Behemoth was within striking distance. Experience Gained: 988! Tor smiled at the little girl and lifted her up to his shoulders. She was tiny and wouldn't make much difference to his movements. He would have to be careful so she didn't fall, however. "Now, don't forget to hang on. I don't want you to fall, Little One." Despite the fact he was talking with the girl, Tor had heard the strategy being made. He took him and the girl over there so that they would be included. "Humans, it would seem if there is a weak spot we should ALL focus on it. We will take it down much quicker if all of our efforts are made on that one spot. Also, I don't believe its weak spot would be on its back. For those without protection, where on them would be damaged the most? Their head. Unless there is a specific spot on its back, I believe the head should be our target. I also believe we shouldn't wait here for it. We have no cover and, other than a few small buildings, it is essentially open area. Are there any fissures nearby? We could lure it to that and hope one of its feet get stuck, but with how monstrous that beast is, I doubt it. Other than climbing, I believe I am actually the only one that could get on it. Maybe I will have to carry you all, two at a time?" He didn't like it. There was no preparing for such a beast if you couldn't fly. Even being able to, there will be barely getting through its exterior. This was going to be one hell of a battle. EXP: Gained - 1000 Total - 14395 ((I don't mind doing that. lol Also, if you want more action, we could either head towards it ourselves, or we could ask our wonderful GM to have it hurry and get its ass to us or where ever we end up going.)) |

He looked over at Edward seeing the form he had used to strike to ground and quickly walked over to him. "Your form is all wrong when striking something that is solid never strike straight down you can hurt your self slash, at and angle." To prove his point he unsheathed his sword and took an offensive posture. In one fluid motion he swung his sword from his left shoulder downward towards his right side burying the blade halfway into the ground. "Now as for getting on the creature I have a plan for that" he directed the remark towards Tor. He then began unwinding a rope from around his body and pulled a hook from his belt. He attached the hook to the rope and began swinging it in a circular motion. In a movement that seemed like a snake striking he threw the grappling hook latching it to a three story window nearby. "Our best chance is if we are up high it will make it easier to get on the beasts back." He then began to walk over to the building and began hoisting himself up. Exp Gained: 992 Total: 9260 |

The Behemoth had arrived. Tor cursed under his breath. They hadn't went anywhere for strategy. They took too long with the burial. He set the girl down and motioned for her to get away. He unhooked his grapple and stood on the window of the building and began to twirl it around his head. He realesed his grapple and saw as it hooked around a tree on the Behemoths back. He pulled the rope taught and jumped from the window sill sailing through the air towards the Behemoth. His body slammed into the Behemoths side and he began climbing up. When he was firmly on the ground he began to run up towards its neck. Each step the Behemoth took made his footing unsure. As he was nearing the neck he stumbled and fell starting to slide down. He hooked his arm around a tree and pulled him self up. He had to be more careful another fall could cause him to lose his life. He continued his accent towards the neck. Nyrkim's feet barely touched against the ground as he lightly raced his way along the ground. Everything seemed decrepit and broken, the houses left barren and destroyed by the cataclysm that had struck this world. The damage here seemed about equal with that which he had seen on his world, the destruction wrought by Chaos something to be reckoned with. Nyrkim truly did not know if he would ever return home, or if the house of Order still stood. All he knew was that the ground was suddenly shaking, because he was knocked slightly off-balance and tumbled to the ground. He stood up shakily, noting that there was suddenly a large group of "people" (he used the term lightly) nearby. He tried to stay in the shadows, wary of being seen due to his strange experiences with it in the past. The races of Gaia were varied, and many had similarity to these beings, but none were quite like these ones. He recognized a few that seemed familiar, and they all carried very strange weapons. Still facing the Behemoth, he walked out into view, arm pointed at the massive beast. He wasn't sure how he would take it on, but needed to do his best. The whirlwind behind him activated, and suddenly almost a quarter of a house disappeared, crunching and being pulled into his body. He made a small grimace, and braced himself on the ground, taking aim at the Behemoth's eye. EXP Gained: 1000 Total: 1000 |

Reia felt herself lifted up, riding on the shoulders of Tor. She grinned as she placed her arms crossed on top of his head. More plans were made, and while they were made Reia watched as the Behemoth moved toward them at a surprising pace. When it arrived Tor lifted her up and put her back on the ground, telling her to get farther away from it for safety. Reia saluted then started moving back, however she didn't move that far away. Turning Reia started charging her energies again, her energies lightly swirling around her, "I want to learn about the large rock in front of me. Not a rock across the street, or a friend, or myself." She was basically talking to herself, but in her mind she was talking to her staff. With the beast upon them now Edward hadn't watched the man's attack much at all. Who cared if he had practiced his swordsmanship everyday, Edward was just given a weapon and had to try and learn how to fight with it. Pushing himself off the curb Edward casually dusted himself off as the beast came closer and closer. Removing the blade for it's makeshift sheath Edward gave the beast a sparing look, it was mad no doubt about that. Taking a few steps forward Edward readied himself for the beast. Unless the beast was taken down to the ground Edward would have to try something else. Glancing over to Tor and Reia they were both casting spells it seemed, while Tyrin was trying to get up to the beast's back. Until the time that he could actually get a chance to attack Edward was stuck just dodging attacks. Scaling the beast didn't seem like such a great idea since it was still alive and could try and shake him off. That idea was plan B though and wouldn't come into action until necessary. Lock cursed under his breath, he had been relaxing up till now, paying his respects to Marcus, and praying for help from the Gods. It seemed the Gods played a cruel joke. He hadn't even retrieved his halberd yet, and the damn beast had already gotten this close? Had his attention really been stolen by the humans scobbles of useless strategy that much? Had no one really seen it closing on them? There was no need in over thinking, not now. The best way to help, would be to simple run head forward and attack. The ground underneath him shook with ever step of the beast, he did his best to time it and jumped tot he wyvern, and pulled out his halberd before turning around and being sent to the ground by another shake. He was just starting to stand when his eyes went wide, he saw it all coming together. The Behemoth cried out, not in pain, but in fury. The man that was on top of him was like a nat on a human, nothing, insignificant. And yet all the same, he quickly lowered his head like a bull and shook it frantically as it quickly arched back up, slamming its head into one of the buildings near by, shattering the stone like paper thin glass as he tried to remove the pest from his back. The Behemoth snorted hard like a bull and rose on its hind legs before coming crashing down to the earth, splitting it open with shear force, rocking the ground like it was water, waves of earth rising up and falling back down under everyone's feet, as rock and choking dust rained down from all sides. Yet it wasn't over yet, the beast still had its sights on the man in red, and in the blinding dust, and deafening clash of earth, it had moved to with in front of him, giant paw raised in the air, as if suspended by magic, before coming hurtling down like a speeding train, aimed to take all that the man was, and the child behind him.
