Reia stumbled back some, her arms finished glowing and now dark lines could be seen across her body. The lines resembled runic writing and though they were inactive she could still feel them, like small jolts of energy running through her body. Slowly she lifted her hand up, moving her staff, or rather wand back then sending it forward. Her right arm glowed some before she sent a fireball toward the nothing in the distance. She grinned as she saw this, "Guys, I'm magical now." She stated with a giggle, "I'm a cute little ball of volatile energies." She continued giggling as she skipped toward the group, stopping next to Lock. Exp Gained: 634 Exp Total: 127861 [[I figured a roll wouldn't matter since this isn't really an action (well technically its an action against nothing) (plus no matter what happens I would still launch a fireball at nothing its just a matter of it I hit the nothing I was aiming at :P)]]

Katie saw one of the group was making her way over to her. She took in the small group. She took a moment to remember what they had looked like when she had ran and saw the fight. Many of them seemed to be doing much better after the fire had swept over the area. When the girl asked if she was hurt, Katie shook her head, and said, "no, i just got here a moment ago. When i saw the fight, i thought i should help..." she trailed off, suddenly feeling bad. How long had these people been fighting, and she suddenly got so much more stronger without even getting hurt. It made her feel guilty for the people that had actually been hit with the phoenix's, probably extremely powerful, attacks. After another moment, Katie asked, hesitantly, "umm, are any of you hurt at all?" Exp Gained-776 Total Exp-118,762 |

A warming sensation washed over him as he hit the ground causing him to start up. As he looked over his body there was not a single scratch or burn left and he felt as if he could run ten miles non stop. Pulling a cloth from his pocket he began to wipe down his blade and his hands getting rid of the blood on them. Sheathing his sword he walked over to the small group as it began to form. At first he was excited that they were all there but as he recounted he noticed that they were missing a person turning around he spotted a charred corpse and shuddered. Another name to add to the list of dead allies. With a grim expression he turned to Lock. "It seems as if Chaos is slowly winning. He is slowly killing us off. Do you think we have a chance of winning against him?" Exp Gained: 775 Total: 133734 |

Lock could only sigh as he watched the Phoenix turn to dust, and a disgruntled look of mild horror and pain filled his face at the sight of a charred corpse. As his eyes moved from the remains he scanned the others over to see who it had been. Everyone was still here, so it must have been one of the new 'members'. He saw a unfamiliar young girl walking up asking if any were hurt so the fallen must have been the strange man. He sighed again as Tor walked up with a look in his eyes as if seeking answers which he felt devoid of as of now. Reia was coming to with a obvious look of new power running through her body, just what was this young girl and was she really human? At least she was on there side. Lock looked up trying to clear him mind on what to do or wear to go when Tyrin spoke up. His words resounded all to harshly with him. They had already lost many, even thous blessed by Purity herself. Maybe Chaos was just to strong as the Behemoth had originally said. He looked back down to his halberd in hand and the soft white glow of the blade. Ever present yet so faint in all but darkest pitch. Purity had blessed them and their weapons for this. Two of the Elemental Lords had been made to fall by their hands, a action that he had thought impossible even while seeking them out. He couldn't lose face, not yet, not know, not ever. He took a deep breath and smiled slightly for them all, "Yes. I do. We have the gift of the Goddess of Purity, and now of Earth and Fire. Don't be mistaken my friend, Chaos wouldn't be fighting us if we weren't a threat to him. We have great power, and although our ranks may diminishes the spirits of our fallen are still with us. We fight on." Lock nodded his head lightly. Yes, the more he spoke the more reassured himself. That was good. A leader should be able to at least believe his own words. Now to figure out were to head. Gained: 1000 Current Exp: 129,826 |

Tor glared at the man who spoke. It sounded as if he was wanting to leave and give up. Lock, on the other hand, sounded like a true warrior. Tor knew that Lock was the best one to be their leader. "Lock is right. We are blessed beyond our belief. You humans from this realm would not understand. It is practically unheard of to fell an elemental lord. Yet we have taken down two. Together we are strong. Will our allies have died in vain?" He let what was said soak in as he thought about the situation. He didn't know much about this place. "Where are we? What is nearby?" Tor asked. If he had a better idea of his surroundings then he could perhaps help Lock with a plan. EXP: Gained - 673 Total - 156654 |

Tyrin laughed a short mirthless laugh then his face became stony and unreadable. He then said in a serious no nonsense voice "Good because if you gave the wrong answer i might have had to kill you. I made a promise to the that Phoenix that I would avenge him no matter what. I was making sure that you were a hundred percent commited to this task. No matter what happens even if I am the last person alive I will fight alone." A smirk appeared on his face and when gone when a howl erupted the silence. Casting his eyes around warily in search of them. Could they be Chaos' hounds or an earth wolf? A sharp pain brought his attention to his hand as he realised it was clenched around the pommel of his sword. Unclenching his hand took an effort and as his eyes were casting around they fell on the charred corpse of the nameless man. Looking toward the far off treeline he trotted over to the body and called over his shoulder. "There are wolves about it would be unhonorable to leave this man to be consumed to them. Come help me dig a grave for him." Grabbing the staff from the ground he turned his head in Reia's direction and tossed the staff. "It seems as if this might fit you Reia. We may come across someone who can use it but for now why dont you care for it?" Unsheathing his sword he began in the same manner of digging the grave as he had numerous times before. After several squares of earth were cut up he thrust his sword into the earth and set about unhooking his bright shining breastplate. Drawing it off his shirt soon followed on top of it. Sweat coated his body in a filmy layer. He still felt as if he could run several miles without stopping. Exp Gained: 1000 Total: 134734 |

Tyrin seemed to be disheartened at the loss of another, but a few good words from Locky and Tor seemed to be enough. Well enough to make Tyrin give an odd threat. "You wont be the last person fighting." She giggled, "We keep gaining people." There was a howl in the distance and Tyrin started saying they should bury the dead. When the staff went flying toward her Reia gave an 'eep' and quickly moved away from where it would fall. "Hey! Don't throw things at me. Its mean." She stated as she crossed her arms. A 'hmph' came from her as she grabbed the staff then dropped it. "Its heavier then my old staff." Exp Gained: 611 Exp Total: 128472 |

Katie hesitated, watching the familiarity of the group. She placed her hand on the amulet hanging around her neck, and took a breath. Something about these people drew to her. She didn't know what, but it did, and she tended to follow her instincts. Well, at least when logic wasn't screaming at her to not to follow said instincts, and even then sometimes... As she let go of her amulet, and put her hand on her sword. It seemed to be humming, somehow. Maybe it was reacting to the phoenix's power? No, that didn't seem right. Maybe it was the group after all then... When one of them, she thought she heard the half-dragon call him Lock, said something about fighting Chaos, Katie asked in a slightly louder than normal, and fairly shocked, voice, "your fighting chaos?" Lock did his best to listen and act accordingly, Tor had a good point, as did Tyrin, and the new girl had to be brought up to speed. He sighed then looked to Tyrin as he spoke, "We'll dig. The ground looks like a clay of sorts, so you, Tor, and myself will did. Reia, Jessika, and... I'm sorry but I never caught your name if it was given." He turned to his head to each as he spoke and not stopping till he found Katie's face, "You three will scout the area and see about finding shelter, food stuff, and maybe putting out some of the still raging flames with your magics." He sighed again as he looked about, everything green or wooden was already ash and out far in the distance from were the Phoenix had came was burning like wild. Behind them lay the large highway that stretched out further than the eye could see and across it was were the flames had stopped what looked like a quarry remained. Beyond the flames before them though a suburban area would lie in wait. He then looked back down at Kattie and smiled slight before finally answering her question, "And yes, we are. He is the one that distorted our words like this. And he is also the one that has turned the Elemental Lords into the insane beast that now roam this world." When they stopped for the night he could answer more of her question if she chose to stay that was. For now though, there was work to be done. Tor nodded and then sighed as he turned to help dig the grave. He was a little tired of digging graves. It wasn't just that they lost so many friends either. Where Tor was from, they just cremated the bodies. It was much quicker and less work. While on the move and wary of enemies, it was also a better idea in general. However, he listened without complain and strapped his sword to his back. His great claws made digging in the clay so much more simple. With the heat of the phoenix that was lit not long ago and Tor's own inner heat, his claws sliced through the clay almost like butter. He sighed once more, realizing he needed some space to pray to his ancestors. With so many people, though, that may prove difficult. It took her a moment to realize that one of the fighters had actually died. Jessika knew she had no more tears left to shed over anyone. People died on the battle field all the time. Even she had tasted death. She was fine with Lock leaving her, Reia and the new girl were to help keep the area mostly safe. Even though she felt better, some sleep, food and water sounded great. She nodded as Lock finished talking. She looked from the new girl to Reia. "Guess our best option is splitting up while staying close. We can cover more ground that way but still protect each other if needed," she said, trying to picture the area surrounding them in her mind. Jessika didn't know this place at all. For all she knew, they could find anything at all. "I'll start over here," she pointed to a a patch of trees to her right, "Spread out but remember, stay within the range of your spells just in case." She smiled at the two of them before stepping away from the group. She took one of her blades off her belt. It would help cut things down if it was in the way or attached to food. Her dark eyes scanned the tree line. Deep inside she was hoping that the worst she would see would be a few fires that needed to be extinguished. EXP Gained: 1000 Current EXP: 126091 |

Reia listened as Lock told her and two others to go look for supplies. She giggled at the word 'food stuff' and couldn't help repeating it over and over. After he stopped talking and Jessika suggested splitting up but staying close Reia nodded and started skipping off, still repeating 'food stuff'. She went toward the suburbs, though she wasn't actually paying attention to where she went so when she noticed the fires wasn't around any more she gave a light 'huh'. Walking down the street she took note of each house, stopping to cast freeze and fireball at every door along the way. While at the time this was only done for fun, later it would make entering the homes much easier. When she reached the last home she cast her spells then said aloud, "Right...I'm supposed to be looking for food stuffs...Too the houses." Wiping sweat from his eyes Tyrin slowly stood up. The long days had started to take their tolls on him. His once youthful seeming visage had started to show the wear of long hours and short rest periods. His back was aching and his knees cracked as he fully stood up. Looking over towards Lock he began to wipe his blade on a tuft of grass that had amazingly survived the flames. "Why do you think Chaos is doing this? There does not seem to be any gain for him in conquering our world. Do you believe he has some alterior motives? Maybe he is actually looking for something on your world and using ours as a diversion?" These thoughts had come to Tyrin while he was digging and he had started mulling over how he should bring it up. It seemed to him that bringing it up straight away would be the best way. Katie nodded, still slightly shocked. Trying to fight chaos was like...a death sentence in a way. But, what Lock said sounded like a very good point. Why would someone with godly powers bother trying to get rid of a group who posed no threat to him? As she thought about this, something seemed to change in her. It was no longer 'help these people' but more along the lines of 'help the others.' Whether she consciously knew it or not, she had decided to stay with these people and try and restore things to how they should be, or at the very least make things better. "Katie" She said, answering Locks question, "its Katie." Then Lock started to dish out orders. Katie knew that he was the leader of the group, and nodded. Having been living alone, and in a forest for that matter, for a large portion of her life, she knew she could find food and, maybe, some place for the group to sleep for the night. When the one who she thought was names Jessika told them to stay close enough so that they could help each other, Katie nodded. She saw the small one, Reia, head toward the suburbs. She paused, looking around the area, and trying to decide where the best place would be for food and, ideally, a place to sleep. Exp Gained-1000 Total Exp-120,536 Level Up! Lock nodded to Katie committing the name to heart before looking back to Tyrin as he started forward to help dig the graves, "I don't know. Its possible, but until we find a way to him we can't do anything about it. My Lord, Ziz the Protector of the Skies, might be able to grant us a way to him." Lock sighed as he stabbed his spear into the clay and then used his foot to dig it in further like a spaded shovel, "I could try to summon him again for that propose, but as he is now trying to do so would nearly kill me. And we'll need everyone to take him seeing as he wont fight us from the ground, but will pelt us with magic from the heavens. More so he'll cut our vision by ensuring us in darkness by just floating over our heads with his mammoth wing span. Fighting him will be quite the challenge." Lock pulled his spear out a mound of Earth following as he sighed once more. With the Leviathan and Ziz left their challenge was truly sizing up. To fight the Leviathan would mean to fight it near or in the sea, nether a pleasant taught. To fight Ziz would mean to attack his belly and fend his magic or fight on his back and be at mercy to colossal size. Again, nether was a pleasant taught. "We should not rely on Ziz until we are certain we can handle him. If we make one mistake he will immediately end our lives. I saw how he took out the Behemoth with barely any effort at our current strength he will barely lift a talon and we will be wiped out of exsistence. surely there is a resource we can use in this world to get to him so lets not make hasty assumptions." Drawing a breath he went out. "If the women can not find us a place to rest tonight, then I say we should rest here. We can easily see anything coming with a good moon out. If we set up a watch then we will be able to last the night. I will take the first watch duty. Either way if they do find us a secure location we should set a watch. After looking around for a moment, Katie set out in the direction of yet another copse of trees, more to the left of where Jessika was eying. She had thought about heading toward the open, flat ground in a different direction, but there were a few problems with that. 1.She didn't see anything from here, she doubted she'd see anything more than a little plant from closer. 2.Katie knew forests. She had grown up in a forest. She had survived, on her own, in a forest. She knew how to get food, from a forest. Which, at the moment, was kind of her goal. So, toward the forest she went. Katie's hand was on her katana, should anything jump out and surprise (see-attack) her. While watching the trees for said 'surprises' she also kept an eye out for food. Apples, and other tree-growing fruits. Or any kind of animal that she could see eating. Hey, she loved animals. However, you do need meat, and there weren't always fish...As if following her train of thought, she stepped in something wet. She looked down at the mud under her feet. After a moment, she headed a bit to the left, and soon found a river. It wasn't huge, but the water was clear, and the riverbank was dotted with willows that fed of the stream's water. Perfect. Katie took a deep breath, seeing the fish that were swimming around. She...wasn't too good with the whole patience thing, and, despite having tried, wasn't good at just grabbing the fish. So, she had a back-up. That light-blast, well, it was useful for fishing as well. Katie backed up a few paces, leaving a good 11 feet between her and the water, then got a blast ready, aiming for the center of the stream. When the blast finished building, she let it loose toward the river. Reia gave a light giggle as she entered the first house. She started singing out a little tune as she searched the rooms of the house, it was simple song of only a few two to four letter words like 'ra me ma bree pap la' Her song may be random collection of noises but coming from her it was still fairly cute to hear, plus it still was technically a song so long as she remained in tune. She searched everything she could, the first thing she found was a box, and after wearing the box as a hat for a few minutes, and hitting several walls, she removed it and decided to use it to carry what she found useful. She then started searching the rest of the house. Her primary search was the kitchen, and she climbed up onto the counters to search the cabinets. Anything important she found she would toss into the box, while anything unimportant she found would be tossed outside for a future ice and fireball combination. Now if she was paying more attention she would have noticed two things about herself. The first is that the runic symbols now covered her entire body, while the second was she no longer had her staff…which had become a wand…the entire thing was now completely gone. Tor finished digging the grave and stood. Memories of the fights haunted him. He sighed once and looked around. It was all too open. He wanted an enclosed space. He would be less of a target that way. And Tor despised it so much when people interrupted his prayers. He went the group and asked, "Have we found shelter yet?" He didn't mention why. At the moment it was unimportant. With so many people, Tor didn't believe he would be getting a room to himself. No matter. Jessika pushed through the branches, using her blade to cut a few off if they were too stubborn to move. All was quiet it seemed. It made her uncomfortable. As she walked on, she jumped when something brushed against her leg and grabbed onto her skirt. When she looked down, she noticed a thorny bush had caught onto her. She grabbed onto the fabric and shook it loose. The thorns let her go and she stepped out of the bush. As she walked on, she decided to keep an eye on the ground as well as her surroundings. The task was rather difficult but she managed. Nothing moved through the trees except a few birds that took off overhead as she approached them. Jessika decided to loop back and spotted a rather large fire near where the Phoenix had been. She got close enough to it where she hoped to reach some of it with magic.
