Zeus

Zeus watched his children and siblings in amusement. This was all just too wonderful for him to watch, though it was also to teach them a lesson. He admired how they all wanted to group together but that just wasn't his cup of tea. But how would he separate them again after they'd made hotel reservations? He pondered to himself on what to do to tease them even farther.

Zeus grinned down as Artemis conversed with a human, torn by the fact that what he was about to do was going to remove her from his presence. Ah, but it was needed. He wanted to cause them trouble, wanted them to feel uncomfortable. He wanted them to realize they were human, though they may have some powers.

With a mighty clap of his hands, the gods and goddesses were scattered yet again within New York, unsettling and derailing them from whatever they had done before. He changed some of their appearances, though not all of them. He just loved to pick on Hades and Aphrodite. As well, he picked on some others. It was fun being ruler of the heavens!

"Have fun playing hide and seek," he said to himself with a thunderous chuckle.

A dull thumping sounded in the distance as Dionysus woke up in a dark room that smelled of... cleaning supplies. Groggily, he got up and surveyed his surroundings. He was totally confused on what happened. One moment, he was just heading towards the city lights and then the next he wakes up here with a royal headache. Dionysus wondered if he got mugged or it was Zeus' mischieviousness at play. Checking his belongings, he found that everything was there. He decided Zeus had wanted to mess with him.

"You damn man w - - - -! Nothing else to do when you aren't messin' with some lady, huh?"

Dionysus uttered some more Greek curses and then decided to get going. As he opened the door leading to a dimly lit hallway, he noticed that the dull thumping became louder. Originally, he had thought it was his heart or head but now he realized it was a bass beat from some club. Dionysus walked towards the sound and then someone behind him spoke.

"What are you doing back here?! Don't you know this is private quarters? Where's your wristband?"

"Uh..." Dionysus started, putting his hands up in the surrender pose, which was a wrong move that revealed he didn't have one.

"Ah, a damn sneak-in..." The bouncer interrupted and then proceeded to punch Dionysus, knocking him out.

For the second time, Dionysus woke up, but this time with the feel of cold, wet pavement. He was in a back alley and it was silent now. He checked his wallet but it was empty. The bouncer must have taken his own tip. Shaking the ache out of his head, Dionysus started walking towards the city lights once again, hoping to find someone, anyone, that was friendly or familiar. He was also exhausted and needed to find somewhere to sleep.
I can't tell you what it really is, I can only tell you what it feels like...

Suddenly, Athena was no longer enduring the rain. That was odd. Had she wandered into the restaurant without remembering so? That was most definitely not the case for she was definitely smarter than that. She frowned to herself as she took in the surroundings, admiring the sweet smells coming from the bakery she was in. A bakery? She shook her head slowly as she peered at the treats, vaguely aware that something was off. She bit her lip and turned to leave, not exactly in the mood to eat after Zeus's tricks. It was then that she spotted herself in the window.

"What the?" She gasped, frozen as she touched her face. She had freckles for heaven's sake! She gawked at her new appearance, not sure whether to curse the heavens or thank Zeus for getting rid of her dainty figure. Though, the freckles were a bit much. She turned her head, glad to see that she had dignified features. No longer was she short and frail. She had meat on her bones and seemed more like herself, though nothing would match up to her goddess form.

With a sigh, Athena left the bakery, tugging at her changed apparel that was still damp. Why, of course Zeus wouldn't make her dry! Good Olympus no. Athena rolled her eyes as she walked down the darkened street. She was definitely no longer in Time Square, where lights never permitted a shadow to exist. This had to be a different part of New York City. She continued down the street, aware that there were many alleys, which she would not go down whatsoever, and stayed alert to the shady features that passed her on the sidewalk.

A recently fired pizza delivery boy rolls his abused, green mountain bike down the cracked sidewalk to his apartment complex. The lonely adolescence’s true feelings are hidden by the guise of his indifferent expression. It is safe to assume, however, (judging from the scrapes and bruises on his face and body)….it's been a tough day for him.
The only noises heard on these forsaken streets are the obnoxious ‘clicks’ of his ride, and the soft echoing of Matthew’s boot-steps. Ominously, other than that; it is quiet.

(Too quiet?)

The boy sighs, and stops his movement (knowingly ignorant to the feelings welling up in his chest, and the back of his mind. He had been feeling like this the entire day, but, what was worse; thinking you’re being paranoid, or knowing you should be?)
He leans his bike against a nearby wall, and sits in the penumbra in front of it (next to, what appears to be, an alley. Oh, Matthew; aren’t you smarter than that? Haven’t you watched enough horror movies to know: stay away from dark, mysterious alleys? Really, what are you doing in this [dangerous] part of town anyway? Oh; right. It was the only place he could afford.)
The fair-faced teen allows himself to close his eyes (although he knew in the very fiber of his being that he shouldn’t) and let his mind, and sight rest for a bit.
“Oh.~” Blue eyes shoot wide open.
“Found you.” Before he has a chance to react, Matthew finds himself pulled into the fore-mentioned alley, and slammed maliciously against the brick wall. He groans painfully.
“So…pretty boy,” His view of the voice’s owner is blocked by a group of silhouettes, but Matthew instantly recognizes it, “You like to play ‘hero’?” A burly, rough looking individual reveals himself from the shadows;

It was the man from earlier today.
-----------------------------------------

Matthew falls to his knees; cradling his newly-wounded gut. (Once the first man had gotten a punch in, he decided to stand back and watch his group of thugs all have their turn on the boy. Matthew had tried to put his training to good use, and fight back, but he was terribly out-numbered and only succeeded in angering one of them, who proceeded to fracture two of his ribs.) Matthew coughs out a crimson-colored liquid, and tries to block an incoming kick to his face.

Artemis

Artemis woke up in an alley on the ground and tried to remember what happened. She had been talking to someone, she couldn't remember his name. She stood up and dusted herself off, finding that her appearance had changed.

She glared angrily up at the sky "And you yell at me for being antisocial when ever freaking time I finally talk to someone, you screw it up for me." She was louder then she had though but she didn't care.

She headed down the street, looking down. As she walked, she heard talking then something that sounded like someone getting beat up. Artemis wanted to walk away, but she was in a bad mood, and she wanted the thrill of the hunt, but she didn't care.

She walked away, ignoring them all. She remembered why she hated this world.

There was smoke creeping up from one of the many sewers on the street, making the area around Athena even more foreboding. She made sure to steer clear of the steam, not exactly ready to burn her bare legs. She peered down at her clothes, the shorts quite liberating though nothing like her warrior gear and the boots she wore were most definitely anything but liberating. They were high heeled and most likely geared for women like Aphrodite or Hera, not herself. She grit her teeth as she focused most of her attention on walking normally in them. Oh, where were those gladiator shoes she'd bought earlier?

"I swear on all that is greek, I will have my revenge on you father," she grumbled as she stepped over a crack. She stood there for a moment, shaking out her tank top when the sound of a scruffle snuck itself into her ear. Athena was instantly on high alert. She turned her head towards the noise, which came from one of the many alleys she'd tried not to pay too much attention to. A little closer and Athena could see a group of men hovering over another, who was on the floor.

Athena's freckled cheeks turned red with seething rage. Human fights were the worst; they were neither fair or sensible... much like her boots. She grit her teeth and sneaked up on the group, whose backs were turned to her as she grabbed up a top off of a trash can and smashed it against the head of what she supposed to be the leader. Once the leader was down, followers always became discouraged. Athena couldn't help but smile as the others turned to see her.

"Now this is no way to treat each other," she murmured with a frown as two of them advanced. She shoved the trash can top into one while she kicked and engraved the imprint of her boot's heel into the other. With those out of the way, she glanced at the last remaining two with a raised eyebrow. They took one look at her, each other, then their fallen members before fleeing.

Athena shook her head in disgust. "Are you alright?" She crouched down and eyed the boy who'd been attacked, trying to figure out where she'd seen him before. He seemed familiar... She was focusing so hard on trying to remember the familiar face that she didn't notice the two from before lurking, ready to pounce on her.

(sorry for the confusion, folks.)

As soon as he woke up he knew what happened. "Curse you brother why do you keep messing with us" he yelled at the sky. A few people gave him weird glances as they passed. He looked down at his clothing thankful nothing had changed. He apparently was in Time Square some ten miles away from his appartment. He hailed down a cab as he saw a flier for an auto auction going on tonight. He quickly made his way to the auction paying the driver as he got out and walked in.

Artemis

Artemis continued walking, until she found a hair place. She still had money left and decided to rid herself of them. She went in and dyed her now red hair to brown and she had it cut short as well. She paid and left then found a clothes place. She replaced her skirt and girly shirt for more guy-ish clothes.

She left that place as well, leaving behind her old clothes. She continued walking. She looked like a guy now and had no plans to change it. A few girls tried to follow her but stop quickly enough. She smiled and walked on, not caring where she went.

---"D*mn crazies."
---Kira sat against the wall of a narrow alley, far away from the trash bags that did little to comfort the unconscious man that lay on them. She tentatively touched a fresh cut on her cheek as she glared at him.
---Just moments before, the dirt-covered man had stumbled down the alley, a rusty pocketknife in his hand. Kira had been sleeping when the man looked at her and decided it would be fun to see her bleed. He wasn't very good at fighting, she found out upon waking up. The new bruises on his body proved that. She sighed. Sadly, this was a normal day.
---Dropping the subject as fast as she had picked it up, the girl picked up a worn black bag and sifted through it, eventually pulling out a thick novel. She had very few books now, what little money she could get her hands on spent on food. She was running out of everything, books, clothes, cash... she shook her head to dispel the thought. She wouldn't get anywhere if all she did was worry.
---With another glance at the homeless man, another sigh and another careful touch of her new scar, she opened her book and the world disappeared around her.

Apollo reached for the door of the music store, just as he did he heard a clap. Still in the same pose as when he was reaching for the door, he noticed that he wasn't in the same place "wow I hate Zues sometimes...." Apollo pulled back still looking the same as before but now in a new place. He noticed a tree and people walking around some looking at him weird and some not looking at him at all. He seen trees all around and in the distance the building he seen in new york "well looks like i'm in a park. And after all that i did to get to the music shop. I QUIT!!!" sccreaimg out and sitting down in the spot he appered in.

He reached in his pocket to see if he still had his phone and he did. He looked up Artemis's number, texting her "this thing work?" hoping she still had her phone.

---After only a few minutes of staring at the page of her novel, Kira shook her head and stood up. Why should stay here, in a dirt-smeared back alley next to a crazy homeless person and the trash bags that made a suitable home for flies and nothing else? Stuffing the book back in her bag, she smiled and started toward the park.
---She didn't spend very much time marveling at the beauty of the place, though she did love it here. Nor did she pay much attention to the few people that walked around, or the strange and apparently annoyed boy sitting not too far away. Upon arriving, she immediately swung herself up into a tall, leafy tree and found a seat on one of the branches- she was always more comfortable in a tree than on the ground. That done, and with a long smile at the life that surrounded her, engulfed her in its brown limbs, she pulled her book out again and picked up where she'd left off.

Apollo waiting for his sister to reply back sat on the ground wondering what he should do next "well seems Zues has plans to play a game with us" not amused by the game at all. Looking around and feeling the wind go through his hair, apollo was feeling at peace even without music in his ears "this is a nice day of course minuse the rain from earlier, i don't mind it here at all" Apollo fell to his back looking up at the sky.

as he was looking around, he tilted his head back and looked at a tree. He noticed a girl sitting in it, wondering what she was doing over there. He wasn't sure if he wanted to bug her or not, but since Athena wasn't around to bug he figured why not bug a new girl. Apollo rolloed backwards onto his feet and walked over to the tree. Looking up "hey lady!?" trying to get the attention of the girl that was reading a book.

---Kira was deep in the world of the author and at an amazing part of her book when she was rudely torn out of it by a loud voice. Wordlessly, she looked down at the boy.
---She looked him up an down, face impassive. There didn't seem to be anything different about him at first glance, save for his hair and eyes, but something about him was strange. She couldn't put her finger on it... oh, well. It didn't really matter. "Hello," she said plainly, turning back to her book. If she didn't say anything else, he would probably just go away, and she could retreat back into her own little world- she always had.
---But, she thought with a sigh, he's probably going to talk to me anyway. I may as well learn to deal with people. Maybe I could try talking to people once in a while? It's been a while... no. I'm perfectly fine on my own, no one can be trusted, other people can only hurt... She had been telling herself that since she left her gang, and all she feared- though she convinced herself she wasn't afraid of anything- was being proved wrong.

"Sir, what are you mixing there, may I ask?"

Dionysus was approached by an elderly but lively man. Looking up from his current venture in the world of alcohol, he smiled brightly and replied, "Oh, just adding a few touches to an already fine brew concocted by a skilled barkeep. Would you like to try it? Let me just finish squeezing the last two lime slices... Okay, have at it." Handing it over to the elderly gentleman, Dionysus watched as his eyes lit up. After taking another swig, as if he couldn't believe his senses, the elderly gentleman took Dionysus' hands and shook vigorously.

"You, young man, I sense so much talent and instinct! Please, what is your name?"

"I go by Dylan, and thank you for such kind words."

"Oh, you are quite welcome and deserving of them. Say, I run a night club exclusively for females but lately we have been having a lull in business. Perhaps you would like a job there as bartender? You are young and quite handsome and would attract ladies with your looks and skills in concoction, excuse my subtle and obscure pun, but what say you?"

"You know, I would love to. I have been looking for employment lately... when can I start?"

"Anytime! How about now? We are opening in a bit and I will be heading there.'

"Fantastic, let's go then!"

And so, with his new found employment, Dionysus finally felt at ease and realized he might like Earth after all.

Matthew looked up from his position on the floor.
Who was this person? Where did she come from? (He hadn't even heard her coming...; having been preoccupied with his large quantities of blood loss.)
Why was she so...

Matthew's thoughts are cut short as he views two red blurs approach behind the young lady.

"Hey!" Matthew tried to warn; voice breaking a little. "Watch out!"

Athena continued to look at the boy, trying hard to figure out where he was from. Ah! The park! She knew her memory wouldn't fail her. He'd been the boy who'd been on a bike. A small smile crept over her face in amusement. She never believed in coincidences, especially when Zeus was playing mind games. Too bad she couldn't point that out to the boy, seeing as she had very much a different appearance now.

She was too wrapped up in her thoughts, how foolish, but as soon as he warned her she sprung up, though it was too little too late. One of the men caught her right in the back of her head with a rock and she flinched in pain. Pain? What on earth was this! She was outraged as she felt the blood hot on her scalp. This meant war.

Athena turned on the men, punching the one who hit her square in the nose before banging his head against her knee. He fell to the ground as she landed the other man a kick in the chest. She was feeling dizzy and stepped back to regain balance. The man who was now on the floor pulled at her legs and she flailed as she fell to the ground as well.

"For the love of Z-" She bit off the rest of her cry as her head hit the concrete. Could she get a break? She grumbled, her eye sight poor now with the concussion as the man who was still standing (barely) went in to kick her stomach while she was down. Now that was just rude.

She hissed and grabbed his leg, yanking him down and rolled over onto him. She took his head and slammed it against the ground, causing him to go limp. The other guy had passed out.

"Well, that'll show them," she said in a huff, almost oblivious to the major damage to her head. Athena turned to the boy, seeing two heads. How interesting... "You're bleeding," she mumbled as her eyes fluttered and she fell forward.

The auctioneer was rambling on at a speed most people are not capable of. He stopped as a new car came up onto the stage. It was a mint condition 1988 IROC Z28 Camaro. The auction started at a thousand dollars and he stood up and took the offer as everyone turned to look at him they were frightened by the muscular man in the suit and failed to bid on the car. "Going once, going twice, Sold to the man in the Armani suit." Poiseidon got out of the crowd and walked to the back of the auction house where they kept the cars. He paid the men and took the keys from them. He cranked the car up and was delighted to see that it only had 2356 miles on it. He drove out of the auction house and back towards his appartment. It was a shame he had to live in such a run down section of the city but it had been cheap. As he was driving up a street he saw a familiar boy sitting against a wall and a woman fighting some men. He turned off the car and started to walk over to them as the last man went unconscious.

Artemis felt her phone vibrate, surprised she still had it. She saw her brothers text and responded Yeah it does. You think it wouldn't? She smiled to herself and walked on, not caring anymore.

She found herself in a park after walkinf for at least an hour. She smiled and sighed softly to herself. She decided to explore the park, just to see what was there.

"In a place she least expected to be"

"Ah... My head..."

A terrible headache she has. It was as if being hit by a hoard of maniacal bulls or may she had too much to drink. Although, she does explicitly recall that alcoholic drinks were something prohibited to touch her lips at the moment. The incessant pounding of her head alerted her back to reality as she held her forehead in an effort to stop the pain.

"This is a lost cause. I need a pain reliever..."

It was only then she had noticed that she was laying upon a marble floor and her blue-gray eyes could see wonderfully constructed arches which reminded her of the Renaissance age of the humans. The atmosphere also felt to be of peace and great solemness. In addition, it was dimly lighted as if a beacon to something. It caught her attention as her sudden realization made her forget the pain in her head as she stood from her position and gazed at her surroundings.

"You got to be kidding me... In all that is good and beautiful, why do you have to send me to a church of all places!"

She said with much annoyance as she raved on about Zeus being an idiot and stupid. To all who would see her, she resembled more likely a crazed woman as she shouted in a fit of anger to no one in particular. After her last statement about the Ruler of Heavens to be useless jerk. The Goddess known to rule over beauty, love and sexuality had finally calmed down. Adding to that, her head kept pounding with much pain than before.

"This is because of his nutty way of having fun. I truly wonder why he had to become the ruler and all."

Struggling to stand properly, she was fortunate enough that there were no worshipers for the "all powerful God of the Christians". It would be embarrassing to be seen in such a state of dishevel. Furthermore, she was never the kind to simply take it all while people summon another deity when it does not exist in the first place. Humans and their stupid comprehension.

"Athena should do something about controlling the flow of wisdom here."

Grabbing at the wooden seats as she walked along pathway, she noticed that there was something different about her apparel even from her former flowing dark blue tresses. Stopping from her tracks, she took hold of her hair and saw it of the hue of reddish brown. Additionally, it was not as straight it was before. There were occasional curls that accentuated her hair and the length was now barely passing her shoulders.

"Zeus! How could you do this to me! For the hundred times! How many hair colors do I have to take for you to be satisfied!"

In her rage, she hurriedly searched for any kind of mirror to see her reflection. Finally finding one in the nearby window, she could not help but simply gape at her current appearance. She wore a dress that did not flatter her figure at all. The red one she bought earlier was now a memory. Aphrodite looked nothing like a enchanting seductress she was before. She looked more like a child in her own opinion. This was utterly pathetic and cruel. Where was her allure and sexiness? She could only see naivety and innocence.

"Oooh!!!! This is the last straw! Once I get back there, I am going to show you why women should never be crossed!"

Her vengeful monologue was interrupted by a stern coughing from behind as she froze in being caught in such state. Aphrodite took a deep breath ans slowly turned around to look at the one who saw her. It was an elderly man who wore what she knew to be of priestly robes. His eyes gazed at him with much curiosity and worry. Well, this was much to suspect from such a man of faith as they say.

"What brings you here to the House of God my child? It seemed you are quite in an anger. You should calm down and think about the consequences of acting recklessly."

Aphrodite wanted to roll her eyes from such statements. Who was this human to talk to him like that? She could do what she wants and not suffer the consequences. Yet, it would not do her good to put this "priest" in a very compromising position. Instead, she simply gave a shrug and decided to get some answers where she was exactly.

"Well, I was wondering where House of God am I?"

Even her voice was not as sultry as it was before. Zeus would certainly pay for this once all of this is done. She was disrupted from her thoughts of many tortures when the Priest answered her inquiry.

"You are in Grace Church in New York child. Are you lost or a runaway?"

"Well, what do you think?" The elderly gentleman asked.

The two of them had just navigated through a slew of turns, passing by a park along the way, where Dionysus felt another holy presence, alerting him to the fact that somewhere nearby, was another god. This made Dionysus feel more at ease knowing there was someone else out there that was like him. He wondered who though, as after being sent down to Earth, he had lost the ability to discern auras. However, as they passed the park, the aura faded and Dionysus was alone once again, figuratively speaking. The elderly gentleman and Dionysus had stopped in front of a fairly aged building that looked well cared for. There was no sign but just a elaborately designed double door entry.

"Looks respectable and mysterious... There's no sign? How would anyone know what the place was for?"

"Ah, reasonable inquiries, Dylan, but due to the exclusive nature of the club, we only promote through word of mouth. My daughter, bless her soul, was the one who came up with the idea and told her friends, whom then told each of their friends, forming a strong network that allowed a place for young ladies to safely relax without having to guard their drinks and virginity from thirsty hounds."

"Was?..."

"She was brutally murdered by an ex-boyfriend... one who had been harassing her for years..."

"I'm sorry, please, may we go inside?"

"Why, of course, pardon me." The elderly gentleman said and unlocked the doors. They entered and Dionysus marveled at the place bit by bit as the elderly gentleman went about turning on the lights. The Ladies' Club could be described as one completely decked out, huge lounge. The center was a dancefloor and surrounding it were various tables and chairs of different, but not random, assortments. To the left was a long bar area and to the right were dartboards, pool tables, foosball tables, and even a ping-pong table. Beyond the dancefloor, directly in front of where Dionysus was standing, was a pool, which had changing rooms off to the side.

"Well, steal Zeus' pants and set them on fire, this place is incredible!"

"It sure is, if I may say so, and your area would be right over here but of course when you have free time, you can relax anywhere you please. The first people tend to come around nine o'clock so we still have a long while. Go ahead and make yourself at home."

Dionysus went over to the bar and started browsing through the inventory.

Currently at Grace Church, later on...

The question was not difficult in nature but she had a hard time thinking what to answer it. If she said she was lost which was true in many ways, she would appear an idiot in front of a mere human and she would never allow that. The other answer was something she would not have of any as well. It was with certainty that if she said she was a runaway, the priest would go on about morality and about life as we know it. The mere thought of a boring lecture similar to Zeus and her sisters' were not something she was looking forward to listen with much exuberance. In short, she needed to craft a believable story of being a damsel-in-distress although it was not that far off in reality.

"I am neither... I was running away from men who wanted to harm me, please help me! I do not know where to go!"

Aphrodite acted the part of a perfect maiden need of rescuing. Well, it seems her new appearance had a hand in it. Maybe, it was not bad to look so innocent and angelic once in a while. Eyes of blue-gray gazed at the priest before her with much fear. Her charms seemed to work as the priest looked at him with much worry.

"Dear child, I hear your sorrow. Do not worry, There is a place where you can be safe from harm."

That is the short version of how she came to be here in front of an elaborately designed double door. She took one last look at the paper in her hand. It was a made-up map by the priest earlier. He said she will find comfortable refuge here. Well, she did need a place to have her beauty sleep. If this so-called sanctuary which goes by the name 'Ladies' Club could provide then all is fine in the world for now.

"Well, here we go."

She knocked upon the said door and waited for a few moments for some movement behind it. There was none as she got a little impatient. After all, she was known to be very fickle in everything even including her vault of lovers. She pressed her hands upon the door and opened. It seemed it was not locked. In any case, she took the opportunity to enter as she nodded in approval of what she had seen.

"Not too shabby for the mortals."

Her observation was interrupted when she felt a familiar presence. It seemed Zeus had even dampened their abilities to recognize their kins from afar. Aphrodite was pretty sure the old faggot was having a grand time watching them. Just he wait, the old man would have his turn soon enough. Looking around, she tried to determine exactly where this holy aura emitted from. Well, it never hurt anyone to ask right?

"Hello! Anyone here! Hello! Lady need of assistance here!"

Matthew watched horrified as his blurred savior falls to the ground.
"H-hey!" His voice comes out a little more emotional than he had intended, but he pays no mind. Instead, he scrambles over to the fallen figure and lifts up, what is presumably, her head. Matthew feels the liquid oozing out from a wound on the side of her face. The infliction isn't all too deep, but the young male is still mortified upon it's discovery.

Matthew's hands grope, blindly, the ground around him.

Where were his glasses?

"....."

Forgoing the search (although he was unable to see even an inch in front of his nose), the ever valiant Matthew attempts to raise himself up (ignoring the, no doubt, excruciating pain from his broken ribs, and fractures) and proceeds to lift the inured woman.

Fortunately, before he can finish (and, most likely, strain himself further), Matthew hears the all too familiar sound of a car passing by...
...and then, stopping.

His heart rate increases, pulsing more blood to his still-open wound(s).

People didn't stop here. Cars most certainly did not stop here...; they rarely even passed through...but, really, why would they?

There shouldn't be anyone out here this late.

"....."

'Still..,' This was the best chance to get help.... Maybe they would show pity on them? Their stopping had to be a good sign; if they didn't intend to help, they wouldn't have even slowed down. Right?

Matthew swallowed a mixture of saliva and blood.
"H-," His voice came out completely broken, and he was unable to complete his plea. It is now when Matthew notices the uncomfortable wettness on his face; that was not blood.

When had he started crying?

"....."

He tries again.
"Help! Please; I've got someone injured here!" Good; this time, his voice had come out well. He had sounded confident and reliable. Good.

He heard footsteps heading in his direction. Although this could mean help; Matthew still felt himself on guard as the figure approached them.

Her vision was going in and out and she hoped her father was truly regretting this. She relished in the thought of him panicked at the sight of her slipping in and out of consciousness. Let him worry over his favorite daughter after he caused all this to happen. Had he just left them in Olympus, she wouldn't have a concussion or this dizzying spell.

Athena flinched as the boy lifted her up and attempted to support herself but her body just wouldn't adjust itself. She felt top-heavy and leaned on the boy for as much support as possible. Guilt washed over her. Athena knew for certain that the boy was also injured and she tried her best to help him by moving her feet slowly but surely.

When she heard a car approach, Athena stiffened and was on high alert. Once struck, Athena would not accept being taken by surprise. She was in warrior mode, maddened by the other men's ability to catch her unguarded. It angered her that she hadn't been paying attention like she usually did. What a wise fool she was becoming!

"You're one to talk," she said with a small laugh. Athena was astounded by this boy. How is it he paid no mind to his own wounds? She shook her head, finally finding somewhat of a footing and stepped away from the boy. She eyed the new arrival, a foggy recognition. Had she seen this man before? She couldn't remember but something about him felt familiar...

"May we please catch a ride to the hospital? I'll pay for whatever it will cost you," Athena said towards the man as he approached, her eyes registering two heads instead of one. Oh, bother.

He watched as Athena fell down. His senses were horrible on Earth, but he probably had the best senses out of any of the Gods here right now. "Dont worry I am here to help." As he was walking he was not paying attention and stepped on a mans hand causing him to wake up a holler. The man jumped off the ground and tryed to grab him. He simply grabbed the mans arm, twisted it behind his back, lifted him by his arm and neck and threw him into a dumpster. He continued towards the two and recognized the boy from earlier. He looked at Athena forgetting the other person completely. "You dont need to go to the hospital." Athena he tried calling out to her with his mind. "You are going to come back with me. You need rest not a doctor." He finally turned his attention to the boy. "Get in the car. You are in need of a doctor." He then turned his attention back to Athena. He pulled the Emblem out of his pocket and took a hold of her wrist and placed it in her hand. "Hold onto this for now. It will help, and I expect it back." He walked in between the two and turned around. He put an arm around each of thier waists and started to walk them towards his car. Out of all the Gods he was by far the most muscular. The long days in the sea had given power to his arms.

VIBRATIONS SO GOOD LIKE A SUNKIST!
Apollo felt something in his pocket, he reached down and pulled his phone out "aah so it does work, nice" he noticed his sister texted him back so he thought he should let her know where he is "well just thought i would let you know that i'm in some park next to a tree if that helped at all" sending the text to Artemis. Apollo put his phone away and looked back up into the tree at the girl "I'm syre you don't want me to bug you but i just couldn't help myself" he stopped for a second to think of something else to say "well my name is Apollo if you care to know" he looked up at her smiling.

He started to wonder if she would say anything back, but he was sure she wasn't going to since she looked like she wanted to be alone.
