![]() Artemis "We're talking I'll tgell you when I feel like it North." Artemis gave him a flirty smile, half following him half leading. She knew that she was bring out something different in him, but she didn't know what. She was glad they were moving. "Away from the massive crowds of people. Beyond that, I don't really care." She smiled up at him, glad to be leaving the crowds behind. She didn't care if she got drenched in the oncoming rain, but if he wanted to get out of it, she'd most likely stay with him. When the rain started falling, it fell quickly. Artemis looked up at the sky for a moment, glad that it don't look too different from either side you saw it on. After a while of being in the rain, Artemis started shivering, but she refused to let her compainion know that. "What's your name?" |

Hades didn't much care about Poseidon leaving the small band of gods. At least one of them was gone. He had company, he didn't care about the rest. However, he was curious if Hestia minded. Maybe she would follow his brother and niece? If so he would have to go with them... Ugh, it is getting much too crowded around here, he thought. He looked over at Hestia and motioned to one of those ridiculous fast-food places. "I'm feeling hungry. Let's head there. Food and out of the rain. Now as for fires, I've had many people that are referred to as 'bums' enter my domain. Many of them tend to crowd near barrels of fire. Would that be more to your liking, Sister?" Maybe she had a point about his kingdom. Maybe it was a bit dreary. However, there were plenty of fires. That is one thing he was not liking. How was he supposed to make it nicer? He was surrounded by dead people for Heracles' sake! Sometimes he can hear the particularly distraught moaning and screaming... No, he would not think of that now. Maybe his banishment from his own kingdom was a blessing. He would finally join the living. Hmm...He didn't figure Zeus thought of it that way... |

Apollo looked at his phone as it started to rumble in his pocket. His sister sent a text but he was sure it was just to test it out. He sent one back saying "hey" but it wasn't to start any kind of conversation. He walked around still looking at the buildings, he wasn't sure what he was going to do. But then an idea popped into his head "hey i know they have a music store here!" Apollo stopped a man on the street and asked him if he knew where a music store was. The man pointed him down the street, Apollo thanked him and started heading in the direction he was told to go. When Apollo had music on his mind he thought of nothing else. He wanted to be relaxed in a land of never ending noise, never sleeping people, and never happy world. He could see why people hated the gods for living a great life while leaving these people here on there own, only going down hill from the old days. Apollo wasn't sure if he was going to run into any other gods, being the god of the sun makes you out shine the others as well as keep them at a distance. He was very used to that, even thought his father had high hopes for him "maybe there's a way i could get back on his good side?" Apollo was thinking of ways to get on his good side. But he knew the time wasn't know so he kept walking to the music store. |

He stared in disbelief as Artemis just left him. She may of been Zeus favorite but he had never liked her. He continued walking down the street his brother and sister long gone. He could find them if he wanted but he did not feel like joining the company of Hestia once more. |

Hecate Oh, the closest thing to a forest since my fall, Hecate thought, staring blankly at the park’s surroundings, Tranquility in an urban city. She looked up at the sky and smiled as the rain hit her wrinkled skin. An old crone in the heart of the city of the youth, this was just perfect. Hecate walked forward, her legs shook as she continued to step forward on tainted land, and noticed the humans passing by her in disgust. The owl that had been flying behind her hopped from one tree to the other as Hecate quickened her pace. As Hecate got closer to the person she had been staring at, she touched Athena’s wrist and looked behind her at her eyes. She cackled and continued walking forward smiling. |

![]() Athena Location: Central Park The rain was an uninvited guest. Athena looked at her new clothes in defeat as the water soaked them and her skin. Could things get any worse? She sighed and pulled her hair away from her face as she continued, at a faster pace, down the small sidewalk that lead back towards the Hilton. She knew if she stayed out in the rain for too long, she'd catch a cold or... some other nasty human sickness. Those things were horrible and she didn't want to deal with them. Athena as almost at the exit of Central Park when a hand grabbed her wrist and she turned automatically, yanking her hand away in time to see who the person was. Unbelieveable of an old hag... wait. Old hag and black clothes? A very disturbing cackle? "Hecate?" She asked aloud as the woman continued forward as if nothing had happened. "Hah, this is rich. Zeus sent you down as well? It's like a big family reunion," Athena added sarcastically. |

Matthew cursed slilghtly as the first few drops of malicious rain fell from the sky and onto his head. He had been dodging traffic for only about 10 minutes now (in a way that, in all likely-hood, was probably illegal) and is only vaugely aware of the scenes around him; forcing all of his energy and concentration onto the task at hand. Matthew does, however, glance back slightly when he sees figures falling on the cross-walk (hoping, internally, that there were all right), but he does not stop, or even slow down. He rationalized that they were probably fine, and his stopping would do them no real good, anyway. (Still, he let out sigh of relief when he noticed them get up and walk away.) The hairs on the back of his neck stand up as he passes through the crosswalk (living in New York; he had become a 'pro' at avoiding people on his bike) and behind the only man still standing there (who seemed to be staring off at something.) Matthew figured that he was probably a tourist; real New Yorkers didn't like to waste time like that. They got in; got out and went home. Although he didn't get a good look at the man (only the blurr of his figure as he passed him by), Matthew's nose detected the familiar sent of....the ocean. He did not let himself get distracted, however; he mearly pushed those thoughts deeper into the back of his mind. A few minutes later, Matthew parks his bike in the dry shade of the Hilton's doorway and struggles to catch his breath. He looks up at the doorman, who is smiling at him. Behind this humble pizza delivery boy, rain begins to pour unforgivingly onto the population of the city who were unfortunate enough to get caught up in the storm. He had just barely made it. |

I must get out of this rain these clothes are not suited to the wetness he muttured under his breath. He pulled the emblem out of his pocket the familiar resonance brought him peace. He began walking down the street and stopped in front of a sign. The sign read Now avialable two bedroom apartment included running water free cable and a pool. He pulled a wallet from his back pocket and opened it looking at the strange paper money inside. At least my brother was kind enough to leave me with a substantial amount of money. He walked inside the place and quickly purchased the apartment. He quickly went up the stairs to find a couch and a tv inside. This will have to do for now he sighed. He quickly shut and locked the door and went back outside looking for some kind of clothing store to purchase some new clothes. |

“Here you go, sir,” The friendly doorman opened and held the door for Matthew; a smile still on his face. Albert loved to see youth at work. It brought back so many pleasant memories. ‘Ah;’ he sighed nostalgically, ’to be young.’ He had seen this kid before; he was always running around; doing something. Once, while on night shift, Albert had seen the young man doing construction work. ’At ONE in the morning??’ He felt reasonably concerned for the boy. Where were his parents? He looked, probably, 16, or something. There was really no need for him to be working that much at this age (just as Albert had when his family had first arrived from Ellis Island. In this day and age, however, he felt that that was very unnecessary. When he was that young, the economy was much worse, and almost every family he knew was poor. He had to help his family, but this boy…..) The doorman wondered solemnly if he even had one. ----- “Oh,” Matthew was a little startled when the elder gentleman opened the door for him. He gave the doorman a quiet, but well meaning ‘thank you’ and entered the hotel; hands occupied with up to five, extra-large pizzas. He smiled slightly as he noticed that not one drop of rain had touched any of them; oblivious to the stares he received as he made his journey over to the front desk. |

Hestia smiled gratefully. "That'd help. But food does sound good, atleast they have warmth inside the food places." She said as she followed him inside a sort of mexican restaraunt. It was true that Hades had fires down there, but the moaning and crying out of pain and loss... just rattled her bones.. plus, being the mediator between the gods most of the time prevented her from staying in the company of either of her brothers for too long. If she visited Zues, Hades would think she was on his side, if she visited Hades Zues would punish her for sticking up for Hades. So instead of staying in Greece on Mount Olympus, she kept herself in Delphi, secluded from everyone else unless they came to visit her or unless she had to attend to matters with the other gods on Olympus, [most of the time keeping Hera from killing Zues for cheating on her]. Usually the job of mediator would be given to the middle child, while Hestia herself was both the first and last born. She was the first out of her mother's womb, but the last to escape from Cronus's belly. So in her own way, she guess she was the middle child. Atleast it would sorta seem that way... especially since she didn't really have any powers... |

Inside, Hades waited to be seated and even pulled out a chair for Hestia when they got to the table. He wasn't a bad guy, his kingdom just gave him that appearance. He sat and told the waiter he would have water. Remember all the fire? Yeah, it gets hot down there and one can really build a thirst for water. Now that it mattered, he figured he would quench his thirst. "What would you have, Sister?" That seemed to startle the waiter. He must have thought the two were dating or something. Is that all mortals think about? Two people can't be together and not have some other relationship? He shook his head and sat down. A menu was waiting for him and he started flipping through it. When alone, he decided to talk to Hestia about her alias. "Well, what do you go by here? I don't think I can go around calling you Hestia. I'm Pluto, son of two space fanatics." |

Hestia thought a moment. Vesta, my parents are archaeologists, and we are close cousins?" She suggested as she flipped through her own menu. What was this food? She'd never heard of any of these before. I'll have water and.. you order for me Ha... I mean Pluto." Her mouth twitched into a small grin as she set the menu down and began looking at the humans around her. Obviously, all they thought of was sex and pleasure. She could nearly smell it on them, the disgusting stench of lust. That was why she never had any romantic inclinations to anyone, not only was she related to them, which didn't seem to bother anyone else, but she just didn't like the thought of that kind of stuff, and even more obviously she'd need to get used to everyone here doing it down here. Oh how she longed to go back to Delphi. |

He walked into the first store he came to. The sign read fine Armani suits. He went up to the counter and asked the salesmen to size him for a suit. The salesmen eyed him up and down dissaprovingly it was obvious the salesmen thought he couldnt afford the suit. He pulled out his wallet and opens it and shows him the money inside. The salesmen looked astonished and apologized for the inconvience. The salesmen quickly sized him and finds the right suit for him. He paid for the suit and changed in one of the dressing rooms he left the wet clothes in the dressing room taking the wallet he would need the money later on he thought.

Hecate “Oh, little Athena, even a Titaness can fall from her reality.” Hecate stopped in her tracks and looked behind her at Athena approaching her, “Even if this Titaness wasn’t in what you Gods would call reality. I am, after all, the Goddess of Witchcraft,” she cackled yet again. Hecate walked forward, Hopefully she will help me in my plan to return to Olympus. The lake looked magnificent but she needed to follow Athena, maybe she would know this place. She waited for Athena to pass her and she quickly followed. |

![]() Athena Location: Central Park Athena raised an eyebrow at Hecate as she walked forward, trying hard to beat the rain before it really started pouring. There were the sounds of thunder and every once in a while, a flash of lightning would appear in the sky. What a nightmare. She tugged at her jacket, wishing she'd bought the one with a hood attached. "That is true. It seems my father is sending mostly everyone here. I wouldn't be surprised to see more of us appear out of the sky," she said with a sigh, trying hard not to think about how aggrivating the situation was. She scanned the area, trying to find the hotel and walked towards it. "Demeter has set up rooms at a hotel for everyone we've found so far, including Apollo, Artemis, Ares, and Aphrodite. I'm sure there are more that I haven't found out about," Athena informed Hecate as she crossed onto the sidewalk and ducked under the shelter of a restaurant's overhang as the rain took a turn for the worst. Zeus was having too much fun. |

The woman at the front desk eyed Matthew (and his unusual, military-based uniform) suspiciously. “May I help you….sir?” Her ruby red lips twitch up in a fake smile (fitting her presumptuous tone of voice.) “Um…” Matthew started (putting the boxes down onto the desk; much to the employee’s distain), “Yes, I have 5 extra large pizzas for-“ “Please!” A young woman pleaded tearfully; diverting everyone's attention to the scene in the middle of the hotel's lobby, “Just leave me alone!” She attempted to pull away from a rough looking fellow’s grip (but, to no avail. The man simply smirked, and wrapped his ink-covered arm around her waist. ) Gloria was mortified. Why couldn’t he just leave her alone?? This man had been following her all around town since she first rejected him on the subway that morning (apparently unable to take her ‘no’ for an answer). Afraid to go home; she had thought she would be safe in the lobby of this classy hotel, but he had STILL followed her in there! “Come on, baby” the man grinned tooth fully, “you’re start'n to hurt my feel-“ He is cut off by an extra-large pizza to his face. |

Hades just shrugged his shoulders and ate when his food arrived. He wasn't in a very talkative mood. His mind was stuck trying to figure out what he should do there. His gaze lingered outside at the pouring rain. He kept thinking of ways to get revenge. How does one defeat Zeus? Bring a metal pole and wear rubber gloves? Well, Hades had to think of something. His kingdom was growing larger all the time. Maybe he could take over when it got large enough? Maybe strike a deal with some titans. Cronos was still in Tartarus. He could put his pieces back together and have him take over Olympus... They had finished their meal without him so much as mentioning his thoughts to Hestia. He looked around while still under the cafe's overhang. Where should they go? "Do you think any of our family would have rented a room of some sort by now?" There were so many gods in the city now that his earlier ideas of finding them was shot down. The city practically wreaked of god. He found it sort of surprising that the mortals couldn't feel it. |

He quickly walked out of the store the rain had already started to let up. He felt a weird pain in his stomach and it started to make a noise. I guess this is what mortals call hunger. He quickly looked around for a restraunt to eat in. He found one and walked inside. He ordered a steak and started thinking about why his brother would send them all here. |

Apollo felt water fall from the sky, noticing the sun was no more and clouds took over the sky "well it would seem that my kingdom shows it's self no more..." he hated when it rained but he still kept a smile on his face. Walking through the rain didn't bother Apollo ay all, he only looked at it as a way to clean himself without trying to. He was still looking for the music store but it seemed further away then what he was told. The rain started to come down much harder but he kept walking "Zues you've always been a power hungry tyrant" making himself laugh. As he walked down the block he noticed a sign that let him know it was a music store "its about time i found this place" still keeping the same pace not really in a rush to get out of the rain even though he hates it. Apollo was also thinking what the other gods are doing, he was sure he was going to end up spending most of his time at this music store but he was looking forward to that. |

![]() Ares had been walking around in a huff and pushed people out of his way as he walked down the busy sidewalk that never seemed to run out of people. Not to improve his bad mood, it started raining hard and people were running and splashing water in every direction. "Dammit Zeus! Why must you do this to me?" He muttered under his breath. He was mad and his temper was just shooting off at everything. Ares's navigational skills were exceptional on the battlefield but in this tightly packed city, he wasn't so good. He finally found the hotel that was booked for them. "Finally." He said simply as he walked in and brushed off the water resting on his shoulders. |

Hestia nodded as she ate her dinner slowly, her gaze watching her brother's emotions flit past his face. "We can't take revenge on Zues, you know. Without him we'd still be devoured by Father. Besides, if we, as gods, fight. All life would cease to exist. We'd destroy everything we came together to create. I know you seem to have gotten the bad end of the deal, but you don't see me fighting to get more power do you? I was first born. That being said, shouldn't I be the one in charge? But it didn't work out that way. You have to be satisfied with what you have before you loose everything..." Hestia looked around shyly before ducking her head and staring at her plate as she ate the spicy dish set before her. She wondered if she'd be able to track down the others. She was the goddess of the Hearth, all she had to do was walk past a house or apartment to figure out what kind of people lived there. Right? Besides, they were smart. They should have put the sign of Olympus on their windows. |

As poisiedon ate he pulled out the emblem the resonance comforting him. He slowly ate the steak the food having a bland taste to him. He began thinking of joining Hades his brother was right he had been dealt a bad hand but so had he. Maybe they could pursuade their brother into releasing the Kraken if he were to allow its release then Hades could topple Zeus from his throne and maybe even kill the god of Olympus in the process he knew it would be a risky endeavour, but it was one that needed to be taken. As he finished the food he got up and left a few bills on the table and proceeded to axit the restaurant. He quickly found his way back home and got a glass of water. He walked over to one of the window outlooking the streets and used the water to etch the symbol of Olympus onto the glass. It was invisible to humans but any God could see it if they happened to look up. |

"We'll head down to the plaza around the corner. There's a cool little place to hang out and a few shops that I've been hitting up since I got here." Liam smiled at what he thought to be her flirtatious nature. At least things were going well so far; he didn't expect them to lead anywhere, but a little flirting never hurt anyone. Plus, he couldn't bum at his friend's place 24/7 so meeting new people was a bonus. "My name's Liam. And yours?" He walked with her through the light rain, glancing over at her every once in a while. They made their way down the street, through a sea of seemingly endless people. He found it still rather strange at her nature in such a city like this. |

![]() Artemis "Artemis." she told him. She wanted to see his reaction to her name, wondering if he even knew about the Gods of Olympus. She smiled up at him, letting him lead her. She knew what she was doing and she remember what she swore years ago after Orion died, but this boy felt different. Artemis didn't have much money left after she bought the phones, but she didn't care. She was glad that she spent her money well and got a way to connect with Apollo rather than clothes and such that the others did. Artemis didn't mind her clothes, but since they were wet she wanted to get new ones. Artemis continued shivering slightly in the rain. She looked up at him, wondering what to say next. She wasn't really sure, seeing as the on;y people she talked to were the other gods and there wasn't much else to talk about with them. "So, how long have you been here?" she asked. |

Dionysus, God Of Wine Dylan East The bar was decently populated when Dionysus entered. Looking to his left, he saw several pool tables being used and to his right, all alone at the bar among other random couples, a pretty brunette sipping a magarita. Dionysus approached. "Hi there, may I ask what you just drank? It looked really good." "Oh... um... I don't really, I mean, its just a margarita... a lime margarita?" She looked a bit uncertain and slightly embarassed on not knowing. Dionysus didn't want her feeling uncomfortable, so he proceeded to sit in the stool next to her. After getting the attention of the bartender, Dionysus turned to her and smiled kindly. "My lady, 'tis a dangerous thing not to know what you are drinking... May I make a recommendation?" "Sure, thank you-" "Ah, forgive me, my name is Dylan, pleasure to meet you." Dionysus intercepted. "I'm Kierra, nice to meet you too." She replied, at ease now. By now, the bartender had ambled over with a jolly grin. He was a big fellow that looked like he could hold a few barrels. "What's yer poison, matey?" The bartender chuckled to Dionysus while smiling gently to Kierra. "Hello again there, miss." "Two Cadillacs please." "Sorry son, we don't sell 'em cars here! Heh, just messin'. Be right back." And so, after some more small talk, sharing of some made up life stories, drinks, and exchanging of phone numbers, Dionysus walked Kierra back home. Now that he was alone again, Dionysus looked around and walked back to the commercial district. |
