With a groan, Hermes looked about the town square. "Why me? I do nothing but help the other gods...so what if i tend to trick everyone...that shouldnt matter." he grumbled to himself as he walked around. He looked from person to person, wondering what a normal human would do. ((sorry, writer's block)) |

I'll whisper in your ear, You are mine, and you will never have to be alone. And when I pull you near, You'll know I love you like I never loved anyone. So let me be the one to lift you up, I'll carry you home. 'Cause now I'm here to keep you safe, And to catch you when you fall. | |

![]() Ares had been wandering through the local shops and stores. He found a few shops and got what he liked. Jean jacket with the sleeves ripped off, a pair of leather modern armour pants, and a green shirt with a logo on it. He felt a bit more comfortable and decided to look around. Ares had stumbled into a United States Marines recruitment office. The Sergent who was there walked over and shook his hand. "Good evening sir, are you interested in joining the U.S. Marine Corps?" The Sergent asked. "The what? Is that like the army of this nation or something?" The Marine laughed hard and patted him on the shoulder. "You aren't around here, are you boy?" "Not exactly." Ares replied. "Well let me show you somethings that we've got 'ere." The Marine said before popping in a video that was a collaboration of the Vietnam War and Conflict: Desert Storm. As the video proceeded onward, Ares became increasingly more agitated. "This isn't how real war should be!" He said harshly. "Hand to hand combat! That's how things should be done!" He growled before getting up and leaving. |

![]() Athena Location: Central Park The natural surroundings really began to work its magic on Athena and soon she found herself much more calm and able to reason. She didn't want to focus too much on the protestors and made sure to keep far out of their way. She didn't want to say anything to spark any anger. It would be far too problematic. With a sigh, Athena leaned against the bench she sat in and listened to the sound of humans jogging and talking, with the sounds of the lake's water in the background. She smiled gently to herself at the serenity. It was in stark contrast to its surrounding city. It was like a haven in the middle of madness and complete and utter chaos. She couldn't grasp why father was being so cruel. Why not a quaint town? Why this... jungle? "Zeus, I hope that headache I gave you at birth returns in my absense," she grumbled to herself. |

Hecate A gust of wind followed Hecate’s fall into the mortal realm. Though, she traveled here before, not on exile so to speak. The leaves fell from their grace just like she did as an owl perched on a tall branch in the park. The dogs there barked in her name as her long cloak dragged behind her as she walked on. Oh, Zeus, you let me keep my powers, but you sentence me to this hell-hole? I’d rather live in the Underworld, at least I’d fit in. The clouds above the park grew dark and the storms were just approaching. “Darkness, my style,” Hecate whispered as she let out a wicked grin. She marched on, some even stared at her dark clothes giving her the face of why. All she could do was hide her face and long, white hair from public eyes. Maybe there are more like I in this park. |

VIBRATIONS SO GOOD LIKE A SUNKIST!

Apollo looked at the phone he got, he wasn't to sure what to think of it "soooo now we can call or what text eachother anytime?" he wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing. At this time many ideas started jumping into his head "well well i wonder how many numbers i can get from girls by the end of the day" thinking to himself with a weird look on his face. Looking back at Artemis "so sister anything else that you would like to do today?" he was still willing to hang with her fro the time being but he did want to go out on his own. But he was sure that was going to be at night. |

Hestia recalled the 'discussion' that Zues had with all of gods and goddess. Brother... why? What did I do? She landed softly of the concrete ground. She looked around, her short brown hair swaying into her eyes with the movement. She gulped down a wobbly sigh as a wave of sickness swept over her. Atleast in Delphi, were she mainly presided, and Olympus she kept a fire going so she could feel steady. Hestia sighed and began walking steadily, ignoring the grumbling and mumering of the humans who complained she was going to slow. Why New York? Why not somewhere where people camped out with atleast a barbecue? She shook her head and set herself to trying to find her fellow...prisoners. |

![]() Location: Central parkMatthew always loved passing through the park.Even though you could still hear, see and feel civilization, it was a comfort to be surrounded by such greenery (something you could never find deeper in the city; where Matthew’s apartment complex is. Any plant life there had been substituted for concrete and tar long ago.) Although he was in a bit of a hurry, he allows himself the luxury of talking in the sight. It was so....green; and it was the only place in Now York that was. As beautiful as it was in the day, Matthew thought it was 10 times that at night. No matter how stressed he was, the moment he immersed himself in the woods (and the quiet of his own mind), all anxiety seemed to melt away. He would allow himself to drift as nostalgic thoughts filled his head, replacing the offending ones. All he would let himself hear would be the sounds of his own memories; not the sounds of cars passing by (or not, considering all the god-awful traffic) polluting the air with toxic foulness, not the uncomfortable sounds of his fellow humans, nor the sound of his own doubt and loneliness. No; here, he was all alone, but never really…lonely (because he knew, and rationalized, that he was never truly alone.) As of late, however, his way of coping had been failing him. His nostalgic thoughts left him with a bitter-sweet feeling; an empty and long gone happiness laced with the reality of his present melancholy...and if he allowed his thoughts to stray, they would only make him question the life that he has set up for himself (and life in general.) Those meta-physical thoughts never did him any good. Matthew didn’t know what was worse: being alone and dealing with the lonliness, or being watched suffer by an outer worldly force. He used convince himself that it meant he was being protected and cared for, but now he realizes that it always made him feel oddly…disgusted to think that someone...something was watching him. He could feign ignorance no longer, he decided. Yet, he knew deep inside that he was still doing just that. As he passes by on his bike, parallel to traffic, he feels a strange, ominous….feeling (for lack of a better term) being emitted to his left. He slows down slightly, and forces himself to look over at the affronting scenery (not incredibly difficult, as it turns out; human curiosity seems to out-rank survival instincts. Really, sometimes it seems that humans are programmed to fail.) As he scans the park, his eyes catch onto something suspicious. Matthew lets his boot stomp tentatively onto the sidewalk. In front of him, on one of the parks wooden benches (one Matthew was quite familiar with), sat a lone woman; no older than 18. Hm. Although not rationally strange, (Matthew couldn’t quite put his finger on it); something about her seemed to draw him in. Something about her seemed….out of place. She was very attractive, (probably more so than anyone Matthew had ever seen before), but he didn’t really think that was the reason. Matthew removes his glasses (turning the world blurred shades of green and brown), and rubs his eyes. He replaces his glasses and squints back at the girl. From this distance, her eyes almost seem….red. A powerful gust of wind flows through the park, making her platinum blond hair dance. Matthew looks up at the sky. ‘How strange,’ he thinks. Matthew wonders momentarily about the unusual change in weather. Part of him feels that he should take all these unusual circumstances as some kind of warning, but he quickly dismisses the ridiculous thought. He can’t afford to think like that anymore; not now, not ever. Matthew begins to pedal again, internally cursing himself for getting sidetracked. The Hilton wasn’t one of his usual stops; it meant big money. Big money made his boss happy. That works both ways, his boss always reminded him; someone’ only worth money if they get money. He hopes, silently, that it doesn’t rain until he gets to Hyland drive. Matthew knew he couldn’t afford to mess this one up. |

![]() Artemis Artemis smiled at him, ready to set him free. She knew he wanted to get away, even though he was also willing to stay. "Yeah we can text and call as much as we want." She glanced away, then back again. She wasn't sure what else to do, at least that wouldn't torture him. "You can go, but I want to keep in touch. Text me bro." Artemis smiled at him and hugged him tight. She turned away and walked around, window shopping. SHe continued walking, then she took out her phone and tested Apollo, Hey. |

![]() Athena Location: Central Park She was trully loving the feel of being away from the harsh human society by just sitting there and even found herself dozing off until she sensed something wrong in the heavens. Well, not in the heavens but the area around her. Oh, this was going to take some adjusting. With a sigh, Athena opened her eyes and looked up at the skies, which were turning a bit ugly. She frowned slightly, noting the stir in the clouds and air. It smelt humid and charged. A storm was approaching. Athena sat up as a wind blew her hair around, making her adjust it calmly before standing up from the bench. She started down the sidewalk, not wanting to be caught in a downpour. Usually, she was looking down at the world as the rain descended and now the tables were turned. Oh, father, she thought as Athena made her way down the sidewalk. In the back of her head, Athena felt as if she was being watched but cast it aside for the time being. She was completely hidden by her human disguise, except for the red twinge in her eyes. It seemed her whole being had been squeezed into her pupils, enough so that if anyone were to look her in the eyes they'd know she was far more than just what she looked like on the outside. Her eyes were red with the talent for war and knowing, wise with the knowledge only she possessed. Her eyes were the only things that reminded her of... herself. She was glad her father at least left her with that. |

To say Hades was miserable would be an understatement. He was fine ruling over those in the Underwold. However, Zeus had to go and prove his dominence once more and he had to return to Earth. They weren't even in Greece! Hades entered in a place he felt much more comfortable. He climbed out of the earth in a graveyard. Though he wasn't in his kingdom, his subjects were still nearby. Maybe he could find some of his family and figure out what in the Underworld they were supposed to be doing in this place. After studying the world for some time, Hades figured he liked the "emo" look. His human form had black nails, fingerless, black and white, striped gloves, and a black shirt with wholes slashed into the sleeves. For pants he had black, skinny jeans. Shoes were just a pair of black converse. He stayed in the lonely place for a while before noticing a storm blowing in. "My my...What has my brother decided to cook up for us?" With a snort he continued down the road. What was rain to him? Finding his relatives shouldn't be too hard. The power they radiate is almost like a scent to a god. Hades would have to play blood hound for a little while. |

Hestia grinned as she saw her brother, Hades, walking down the street with a glum demeanor. My my, brother. What a form, where did you get your inspiration?" She asked, her brown eyes sparkling with amusement as she made her way to his side and began walking with him. Why so sour? She teased as she tossed her brown hair and watched Zues's storm blow in. Really? Whats the point in a storm? She sighed and shook her head before focusing back on Hades. |

He senses something a storm maybe, he looked at the darknening clouds and said to him self. "Brother i always thought me and you got along i guess my dominance over the seas was to much for you." He continued onward sensing his least favorite Hades he began walking down a street until he ran into both Hestia and Hades. "Well met my brother look at us what have we become cast out of the very place we helped our brother aquire." |

Hades was a bit surprised that his sister had found him so quickly. She must have been nearby. Strange that she made it to be one of the top twelve. Her abilities were somewhat lacking. No wonder he hadn't sensed her. A much more powerful being caught his attention, however. He figured he would quickly address Hestia before his other brother arrived. "This form just seemed to fit me. Call it feeling natural if you will. There are many in this realm that feel the need to look like this. As for my sour mood, I think you have noticed the storm. He tortures us by forcefully sending us here and then has the audacity to make a storm appear? I can't wait for the day..." Luckily, before he could say something to get him in trouble, Poseiden interrupted him. Another of my brothers feeling the need to torment me? he thought. He shook his head and checked out his brother's choice of apparel. "I see you chose a form to fit you as well," how he thought it fit will be best not told to his face. "I know not what you mean. The way I see it, you two got life while I get the dead. It is quite dreary that everyone I know is dead. Other than the gods, of course. However, my home is too dreary for any of you." |

Hestia sighed and shook her head. This place is so sickening.. no fires... no hearths.. nobody coming together for alone time with their family.. She murmured to herself. She could tell where Hades was going with his statement, even with Poseidon interrupting. Well if you'd keep some fires lit and welcome visitors I'd come see you more often. Its not like I have anything else to do. She spoke. She again looked up at the sky as the first sprinkles of rain began to fall. Lets find some shelter and my neices and nephews shall we? She asked as she set off in a brisk pace, looking around for anyone she might recognize. |

Brother you think you were the only one dealt a bad hand? We were both betrayed by our brother as I remember before we took on our father we all agreed we would have equal rule over Olympus but that bolt of his was to powerful for either of us. I need not hear you words to know what you think of me i hear your feelings my brother and it is not true i got life all i cause is death my seas claimed most of the lives your underworld recieved i was dealt death as well. He looked at his sister also wondering how she got to the top twelve she was not vital to the safety of Olympus if anything her place should be taken by his brother Hades. In the past He had tried to grant his brother access to Olympus to take his rightful seat beside Zeus, but time and again his brother denied his request saying that Hades place was in the underworld where he belonged. |

As the slightest raindrop seemed to touch his head, Liam blinked slowly and looked up towards the brooding, darkening sky. A storm approaches, he thought dramatically to himself, glancing over his attire to see how well covered he would be if downpour were to occur. However, nothing about his jeans, aviators, and athletic-fit T-shirt screamed "RAIN PROTECTION!", so he contented to find cover under a building. Stretching out his long arms, Liam glanced around at his surroundings briefly to find his bearings. He was three blocks from his friend's apartment where he was staying; he could easily make it home, yet for some reason, an inner voice told him to stay out on the town. May it be fine ladies or a chance encounter, he followed his intuition and continued on the streets of crowded New York City. Sweeping his bangs to the side with a flick of the head, Liam Arbor switched the song on his off-brand MP3 Player: "Noisia - Leakage". And even as the approaching rain threatened the safety of his headphones, he continued to bob his head, even throwing a small dance in his step as he strutted through intersections. |

![]() Artemis Artemis looked up at the sky. She knew it was going to rain and it didn;t bother her. She looked around and noticed that people were gatherng together to get out of the rain. Might as well act like I'm human. Might be fun for a while. Artemis continued walking, attempting to find a place that wasn't do crowded as the placed she was passing. When Artemis wasn't looking, she accidently walked into a person that had headphones in and was dancing to his music. She fell backwards after hitting him, but pulled herself to her feet quickly. "Ohh, I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going," |

Liam barely saw the girl before they collided, and as tall as he was, he wasn't exactly "built"; he stumbled backwards a few steps, causing more collisions with strangers on the busy street. He swore under his breath, muttering apologies. He turned his attention to the girl, who seemed a few years younger than him, and was about to offer his hand before he realized she was already up on her feet. He made a mental note of her quick her reaction was. "Hey no worries, you alright?" Liam offered a smile and lowered his headphones, letting them sit around his neck. "Sorry, I get a bit caught up in my music sometimes. And my dancing, as I'm guessing you could see." It was around this time that Liam started to notice her defined features. There was definitely a presence about her, as if he were standing in front of someone important. Edited by PhatVince, August 5, 2010, 7:20 am.

![]() Artemis Artemis looked up at the guy, surpised a bit at his height. She heard a voice ubt waved it off as someone talking to someone else. Artemis smiled up at the guy. "Yeah, I'm fine. And I unfortuntaly didnn't notice that due to the fact that I wasn't paying attentiont to where I was going, yet again today." A clap of thunder sounded and Artemis jumped. SHe had never jumped at thunder before, but it was a new place and she felt out of place here. She heard another one and her eyes immediatly located the spot. Seconds later, Artemis realized how stupid she must look to this stranger and she looked back at him, biting her lip nervously. |

"Ahh, I gotcha. It's all good then. I look pretty goofy dancing anyway." She has a pretty smile, he thought to himself, arguing internally whether or not to pursue her. She seemed, rather....mature, for how old she looked. Liam couldn't help but grin when he saw her jump at the boom of thunder. She obviously wasn't very accustomed to thunder, or was just particularly frightful, so he thought. He saw her nervous glance, however, and decided only to pick on her a bit. It always made good flirtation. "Not one for thunder, are ya?" He put his hands into his pockets, thumbs out as he watched the girl carefully. "You must not be from around here if the thunder still gets you. Am I right?" He took a curious stab, raising an eyebrow quizzically. |

![]() Artemis Artemis giggled a bit at him. She had to admit that he was a funny guy. She wasn't too fond of the height difference, but it wasn't particullarly annoying. She continued smiling until he made a comment about he jumping at the thunder, but she let it go. "I'm not from around here. I'm from the North." Artemis said to him, cocking her head a bit to the right. She got bumpped into him again as a person pushed past her. Of course you would make me short, just to playy your littles huh Zeus? Artemis pusher herself off his chest, but she wanted to get away from the crowds now, or at least start walking. "You mind of we walk and talk?" |

The amusement of the situation made it impossible for Liam not to have a light-hearted smirk on his face, even as she bumped into him. She definitely was not a city-person, he could tell that immediately. Her answer to his question only made him more curious. Something about this girl caused him to be a bit more open with his questions than he usually would. How much more North can you get? "Are we talking Maryland north, or Canada north? Or like North Pole north?" He chuckled lightly, holding his balance as more locals brushed past him. He nodded his head slowly, glancing around at the crowding streets. "Yeah sure, where're you headed?" He started to take a few steps towards the local shops, seeing as the rain was starting to pick up on their heads. She saved me the trouble of asking her to walk around. Good. Mentally, he found himself warming up to this girl quite quickly. |
