Ryan Tills For all the energy his roommate seemed to have he was rather quiet at the moment. Probably looking around the halls trying to remember what and where the room is Ryan thought about giving sonny a tour of the school but wasn't sure if with all Sonny's energy doing it in the surrounding crowd might not be such a great idea. He was getting pretty jostled around just standing around his dorm room. As he's being jostled around Kael pat him on the shoulder with the usual simple greeting. Ryan lifted a hand out of his pocket to wave to Kael "Hey" Ryan would have asked how Kael's summer went but the crowd was moving him along to quickly, swiftly moving him in the direction of the cafeteria.hrmm..food sounds pretty good... that gruel my mother served me this morning tasted like paste Ryan's thoughts were matched by a light grumble from his stomach. Ryan smiled his stomach was remembering both the bad morning meal and how good the food was here. As if on cue Ryoku passed him calling back"Hey...you coming?" and he was clearly headed to the cafeteria heh it's...like the world it telling me to go get some food. Turning back to Sonny Ryan says"Sonny.. I'm heading to the cafeteria for some food feel free to drop your stuff off in the room and follow the crowd there everyone seems to be headed in that direction anyway..." Waving goodbye to Sonny he heads over to the cafeteria. the line was pretty long but it'd got into the flow so it moved along pretty fast after grabbing a few of his favorite things he looked around the room trying to find someone he knew. Noticing the back of Kael's head he walked over to the table nodding to an empty seat Ryan asks everyone "Mind if i sit here?" Sitting down he looks around the table smiling to Leena and Nika "How are all of you doing?" Edited by Venin666, July 17, 2010, 3:49 pm.

Cable Cable's face was serious the whole time Kastiel spoke about his 'memory mimic' ability. By the time Kaz was done talking, Cable had started to frown. "Kaz, that's a serious invasion of privacy. I wouldn't tell the students about it until you think of a comfortable way of presenting it, to be honest." He shivered. "I wouldn't want my memories invaded without my permission." Turning his head to Raphael and then back to Kaz, Cable began to smile again. "Hey, do you guys want to go somewhere since today's a day off? Raphael, I know you're not always comfortable leaving the dark, so is there anywhere you'd like to go?" "I saw this great sushi place-..." He grew silent. "Teaching here as long as I have and I still forget where we are, sometimes. Erm.. Anybody want to head to the cafeteria to continue this conversation?" Cable asked, looking quite crimson. |

"That's good to hear," Nika heard Kael respond. She felt bad, knowing that he didn't have a family to pamper him, but she didn't say anything. He seemed happy enough. Looking out into the cafeteria once more, Nika spotted Leena, who was now standing and waving in their direction. "Our spot's been secured," she heard Kael remark, apparently also having noticed. "Indeed," she replied with a smile. She got her food and made her way towards Leena's table, where she opposite of her and Kael. "It's good to see you again, Leena!" she greeted the girl as she sat down. Finding two of her old friends in one day was a good way to start off the year, so Nika was in a very good mood. "Mind if I sit here?" At first, the new voice was unfamiliar, but when she looked over to its source, she reciprocated Ryan's smile. "Quite well, thank you, she responded to his question, taking a sip of her coffee. "And yourself?" |

Matthew Hunter Now lying on his bed Matthew was wondering what he should do. For the past few days he had preoccupied himself with exploring the school but now he was at a blank of what to do. “You could always see what you might be up against by observing the other students.” A voice in the back of his head told him. “Well I might not be able to find out that much at this point but it is better then staying here.” He said to himself out loud. As he jumping off his bed he quickly questioned himself if he was going to have this room to himself, but then forgot when he felt a grumble in his stomach. When he was traveling here he had sometimes gotten lucky with food by taking it from others, but here he did not seem to have to steal it. This school did seem big to him the first time he had seen it but now he could easily navigate himself around the hallways and floors. The way to the cafeteria wasn’t to far away from where he was so hopefully he could grab a little snack and then plan for what to do next. As Matthew made his way down the now busy hallways and through the students he was a little bit startle on how busy the cafeteria actually was. The line seemed to be out the door and yet still people were joining the line. “I might as well catch something tonight. I bet it would be faster then waiting.” He thought to himself as he turned away from the cafeteria and out through the front doors. Matthew wasn’t kidding when he said that he was going to attempt to catch a meal. He had done it many times in the past and wasn’t too bad at cooking the meat as well. Also his powers made it a lot easier for him to catch something because usually the prey wouldn’t even see him. He wasn’t looking for any big prey tonight, but a small rabbit cooked over a fire would do nicely for a snack |

KASTIEL Kastiel shook his head at both their comments. It seems they didn't quite understand what he meant by memory mimic. He thought for a moment about how he could explain it better. Rather than zone out again he just started talking while hoping that this time the two would understand the power a little better. "I can't mimic another person's memory with memory mimic guys. It's just a way for me to take my own memories of say an animal, or an object, or even a person and transform from that. You know up until now I've only been able to mimic what I can see, or something that's being verbally described to me. Accessing another person's memories is something that just isn't going to happen with my powers, there's no correlation between what I can do now and that." he explained. Despite Kastiel's laid-back and easy-going shell, among the other teachers and especially when speaking with the Headmaster Kastiel took on an entirely new way of speaking. Kastiel was particularly passionate about expanding his horizons, discovering what new and exciting things a person could do with their powers. Or even ways in which they could develop them to do more than they did before. "Going to the cafeteria sounds good. I'm sure all the students have congregated there as they do each year. I'm sure planning my classes can wait for a while longer." he replied to Cable's question after his small explanation of power correlation. His scholarly demeanour changed in an instant when he grinned at the thought of food. "Besides, I'm so hungry I could eat a horse. Lets just hope there's no centaur students." he continued. ![]() "I would not be disagreeable to joining you in the cafeteria," Raphael stated, though he knew it would be quite awkward for him to be around all of those students. And the light. That too. The cafeteria had some rather large windows. He'd have to make certain that he kept to the shadows. His cloak offered some protection, yes, but the sunlight would still be painful to him even with that on. Another thought: he'd probably have to force himself to eat some normal food to avoid suspicion. That wasn't going to be pleasant and he'd probably be vomiting it up later. But for appearance's sake... Okay. Why was he going to the cafeteria again? To socialize with the teachers and perhaps some of the students. Right... Not much incentive for him to go. Unless some of his more intelligent students approached him. Then it wouldn't be a complete waste. "If you would excuse me for a moment..." he stated before slipping back into his dark room. He went over to the mini-fridge and pulled out one of his blood packets. With that in his pocket, he rejoined the other two teachers. He'd have to discreetly spike whatever drink he got with that blood. Perhaps that would make this a bit more tolerable. |

![]() "Hello, Leena. How are you?" Leena looked up from her food, instinctively grabbing her sealskin, at the sound of the voice above her. She sighed, audibly when she realized it was just Kael. He must have noticed her waving to him and Nika earlier and came over. Nothing to be afraid of, she trusted him. She swallowed the food that was in her mouth quickly and cleared her throat. She hadn't spoken with her human tongue in so long she wasn't quite sure how her voice would sound. "H-Hi K-Kael," she replied, her voice only wavering slightly, "I'm fine thank you. How are you?" Her English was stiff from lack of use, but a few hours with friends would bring her back into the slang of the language. Leena smiled at him and then at Nika as she walked up to the table and sat down. It was good to see her friends again, it just made her think of all the possibilities for the year. So much fun could be in store for them. Leena was also excited to get back into classes. She had always been a rather studious girl, and she loved learning new things. "It's good to see you again, Leena!" "It's good to see you too Nika," Leena said, smiling, her confidence in her speaking skills returning, "I managed to get a lot of food here. So if any of you want some, please be my guest." She gestured to the food in front of her, of which she was only half way done. Leena grabbed another french fry and took a hearty bite. They could share anything they wanted, except for her french fries. But they had known her long enough to know that, Leena was very defensive about her fries. "Mind if I sit here?" Ryan has now approached her table. Finally, a few people were filling it up and she looked like less of a loner. Three friends at her table, it was a good meal. Leena nodded in response to Ryan's question, though Nika had already taken care of the answer. Of course none of them minded if he sat there. The more the merrier. |

![]() Aki ate up the tour with wide eyes and open ears. This was going to be her home for the next four years, the sooner she learned all about it, the better. Things seemed to be every different from when her parents attended Hidden Hills, though the same at the same time. The library was just as gorgeous and amazing, if Aki could calm herself down a bit she may spend some time there. The schoolrooms were big and full of interesting objects; she couldn't wait to have some classes in there. Jaya mentioned one specific teacher, but did not say much about this Dr. Volarus. She was sure she would meet him though, as with all the other teachers. Jaya fed Aki all the facts she could have wanted. Random facts about the places they were passing and the students that they met along the way. Everyone and everything was so interesting. It would be great fun getting to know all of them. The two then went up to a tower and looked across the entire campus. Jaya pointed out the hot spots on campus and Aki made sure to keep a mental list of them so she could hang out there as well. They then went to the cafeteria, the place where Aki would be three meals a day for the next couple of months. She needed to know where this place was for sure! The place smelled of food and excitement. There was a very long line of students waiting to get their meals. Aki eyed the line with half horror half amusement. If they waited in this line they would be there forever! Aki hoped that the cafeteria was not like this every day. It would make eating quite a hassle. Jaya became silent beside her and Aki knew that this was not an everyday occurrence, which made her let out an audible sigh of relief. "Um....right. Do you actually want to wait in line to eat, or just...go hang out until the line goes down a bit?" "We can hang out," Aki nodded, "This line is insane!" Now she would have a chance to meet Jaya's friends and maybe make a few of her own. |

![]() "We can hang out. This line is insane!" Oh good. Jaya did not like waiting in lines. She had to much energy, to much need to move and see and think. Waiting in lines, for anything was just ...no. Smiling, Jaya shoved her way through the crowds, apologizing the whole way, of course, until her and Aki broke through into the cafeteria proper. She spent a while looking around, spotting friends at several different places. One such place was table where Leena, Kael, Nika and Ryoku all sat. She caught a glimpse of a ball of fur that could have been Sahiba, but might have been someone else. At another table, all alone, sat Daen. Now, what should they do? Join the group, or go bother the lonely guy? The latter, obviously. She smiled back at Aki, "Come on!", and led the way toward the table Daen was sitting at. "Hey! This is Aki, she is a freshman, my roommate. Aki, this is Daen. Whatcha eating? Can I have some?" In her usual manner, Jaya spoke so quickly, jumping from topic to topic, that no one had a chance to reply. However, she did pause just a bit after asking if she could have some of Daen's food. |

![]() Daen was a bit alarmed when Jaya came over and started assaulting him with a flurry of words and questions. He blinked, taking a few moments to absorb what she had just said, then stated, "It's a meatball sub and fries. You can have the fries if you want." He wasn't going to eat them. The sub would be more than enough for him. He looked over at the freshman and said, "It's nice to meet you. If you could understand Jaya then I suppose I'm being repetitive, but I'm Daen." He gave the girls a small smile, somewhat glad that at least someone had come over to him. He'd been getting a bit lonely. |

![]() --- Aiyana Kai sat beside her sister, Anya, in the back of their fathers vehicle. She peered out into the schools lot; emerald hues clearly disproving. Raising a hand, she ran her fingertips through the mop of azure hair that lay atop her head in a heaping disarray. Aiyana had hardly ever put forth enough effort to make her hair look utterly ravishing. Instead, she simply pulled the upper layer back in knots, twists and small braids. She caught her sisters nervous glance and nodded her head in encouragement. They both slid out through the backseat doors simultaneously. Where Anya had been soothing with her father, comforting him on the idea of the two returning to Hidden Hills, Ana had not. She watched as her sister hugged Alexander Demeter and stepped away with the faintest of smiles, off towards the sidewalk; awaiting Ana. “I hate you for this,” she stated, voice cold, words clipped short. Aiyana Kai could have cared less learning about her power, her limitations, her potential. She had only attended the school for Anya. She had heard countless of times about how her younger sister wanted to learn to control her power, so that she wasn’t eavesdropping into others’ minds, their dreams. She didn’t trust her sister to be here alone. It was considered an invasion of privacy, and all too often had that been taken as an insult. Without her fathers words of retaliation, she turned on her heel, cloaked leather, fingers curling around the pulley of her suit case and headed off towards her dorm, Anya following in step beside her. Ana’s gazed flashed from student to student as she figured out who was new and who she had seen before. It wasn’t until the two girls were in room 105, that they broke the silence that had taken over from leaving their parents. "Well, we're really back..." Came Anya’s quiet voice. “Yea, we are. “ Ana responded, lips curling into the edge of a frown. With a gentle sigh, Aiyana tugged her suitcase up and onto the second bed that she would be claiming as her own for that year and silently got to work unpacking her belongings. She set aside a pair of old, vintage lace and leather pair of gloves, the pair had been her favorite. She unfolded her clothing, smoothed out the creases, then refolded them and placed them into the tiny, pine dresser that sat at the foot of her bed; up against the wall beside the small closet. After unpacking each article, she placed the suitcase within the arms of the closet, twisted around and looked around. “Well, it’s not home but I suppose it’ll do for now. Do you want to go get something to eat?” She asked. Without an answer, she peeled the ebony, leathered gloves off of her hands and replaced them with the pair she had set aside. “Come on, Anya, you must be hungry.” And with that said, she tossed the unwanted pair onto the bed, headed for the door, opened it and walked out. She waited a moment outside the dorm room until Anya appeared and the two took off in the direction of the cafeteria. |

![]() Isha arrived at the school shortly after lunch time, although by the sounds issuing from the Cafeteria, he could tell no one in the school was respecting the proper times for meals. A few brownies trailed him, carrying his bags. After they unpacked, they would return to the Courts, for Hidden Hills did not allow servants. His room, luckily, was empty, at least for now. From the bags, he could tell he was once again sharing a room with Kael Parson. Isha didn't understand why the school mixed grades in the dorms, but they did. As a matter of fact, he didn't know of any students who shared a dorm with someone in their grade. But then again, he barely knew any students at all. He wasn't at Hidden Hills to make friends. Well, technically, he was, but he didn't want to. He was there to learn about the world and creatures outside of the Courts. He didn't have to be friends with any of them. Screw diplomatic relations. Two years sharing a room with Kael, and he could barely remember anything about the other boy. Except for the fact that he was Human (poor thing), and had some control over....weight or...something. Gravity, maybe? The only person at the school he knew well, was Jayashri Kiseki. Of course, that was only because one - she wouldn't leave him alone, noisy witch, and two - his family and Court did a lot of business with the Kiseki Clan. All of that was about to change, however. Over the summer, his father had given him strict orders to make friends. It didn't have to be sincere. He just had to form a few bonds of 'friendship' with other students, of varying races. No doubt it had something to do with Sidhe Court politics. Some bid by the Unseelie Court to gain influence over non Faerie races, or inter-realm commerce. Something inane, that he could care less about. With a sigh, he plopped down on the free bed, and stared up at the ceiling. Around him, the brownies were unpacking his possessions, and setting them up to his specifications. The one chest they did not open, the one chest he, himself, had carried, contained his bone collection. For some reason, he was limited in the number of full skeletons he was allowed on school grounds (3), and the total amount of bone items he was allowed (50 or so items not attached to a skeleton). All of that fit nicely into his chest, and only he was allowed to open it. His freshman year, his roommate had tried. The poor boy had barely survived, and Isha had been forced to fight so as not to be expelled. The brownies finished and scurried off, back to the Faerie realm. Isha smirked as he heard them leave the room. Finally, alone in the outside world. Just what he wanted. |

Sahiba Sahiba curled up on Ryoku's shoulder as he looked around, she guessed it was for anyone he knew. A quick glance around showed her many people she knew, most more or less just by seeing them around, although there were plenty of new faces now. She moved from her current spot to Ryoku's other shoulder in time to see Ryan walking through the lunch line. So, he had followed. She mewed softly and rubbed against Ryoku's chin before jumping onto Ryan's shoulder as he walked by, tray of food in hand. She was careful to keep her twin tails away from the food as he wandered over to a table that was quickly filling up. She glanced over her shoulder to see if Ryoku was following or not as Ryan sat down, conversation around the table quickly followed. As questions were asked and answered, Sahiba made her way around the table, moving from shoulder to shoulder, getting used to the people there. Most of them she'd only just seen around and her curiosity had her getting closer to them. She moved across Kael's shoulders first, went onto Nika next, sniffing around each in turn before purring softly and moving on. Leena was next and Sahiba mewed quietly before jumping onto the girl's shoulder. The seal skin startled the kitten, as she never really knew what it was that was always on Leena's shoulders, and she sniffed at it. Anya Anya watched Ana as the girl moved around, unloading the luggage and putting everything in it's rightful place. Figuring that wasn't a bad idea, she scooted off the bed and tugged the big luggage bag onto the bed. She tugged out a blanket[/url. It was her favorite one, purple on one side, white on the other and incredibly soft. Bringing the blanket to her nose, she took a deep breath and buried her face in the comfort of it. She spread it out on the bed, then moved onto to the rest of her things. She hung up the proper clothes and put others in the dresser on her side of the room. Moving to the bathroom, she snagged one drawer for her stuff and put it there, setting up a cup for toothbrushes on the counter. She hung a shower caddy over the shower head and put her body wash and shampoo on one shelf, leaving the other for Ana, and hung her pouf over a hook. Moving back into the room, she shoved her luggage and duffel bag under the bed. About that time Ana had finished and mentioned going for food. Turning to her sister, Anya's head tilted to one side as she watched her switch her gloves. She grabbed her backpack and followed Ana to the door as she exited, then she followed her out. "Okay.." she replied, glancing at her as the two headed off towards the cafeteria. Anya did her best to keep some kind of mental wall up as they walked amongst the other students who, apparently, had the same idea of where to go. Her arms crossed over her stomach and she hovered right behind Ana. Once to the cafeteria, Anya's mouth turned down in a frown. So only the entire student body had decided to show up. Wonderful. She bit the inside of her lip and crossed her arms tighter as the two girls got in line. |

![]() Ryoku was just about lost. He carefully spotted Ryan walk over to Kael, Nika and Leena and their table on the cafeteria. Seeing as Sahiba left his shoulder, he needed something new to do. So, he walked back outside, completely ignoring the fact that the cafeteria had most of the school's population now. Hands in pocket, he reached a bench, sat down. With the slight snap of a finger, the light above him turned off. He snapped it again, and the light slowly flickered to a steady beam. Even though he should try to work on making his personality more positive, he could have cared less for the people there. Ryoku is a person not easy to get along with, and everyone whom tried to interact with him knows that. Not having a family to go home to, Ryoku stayed in the school for the previous summer. He had some serious issues with his social skills. The reason being why Ryoku distances himself from people is that, one night, on his Sophomore year, he received a letter from one of his family relatives. That night, his life would forever change. The letter contained in it that his parents were robbed and then shot after the burglar was finished. That happened 2 years ago, and for the stubborn airhead he is, he failed to acknowledge that family meant so much more to him. even if they were un-loyal parents. Continuing his silly little game, he snapped his fingers one more time, before the bulb completely burned out and the surface of the casing turning ash black. That just happened to trigger a power outage for 2 seconds, and the back up generators kicked in. It was a bit too early for him to be starting issues, especially when the school hasn't officially started yet. He closed his open palm into a fist, and every time he squeezed, sparks of lightning would generate. |

![]() Ama "Muse" Rosen The bag clicked under the pressure applied and Ama made sure it was locked. This was one of a few suitcases she'd packed for her adventure to her new school, Hidden Hills. It felt as if she was being sentenced, finally, for the crime she had commited. Home was now strange and bare after the accident that had occured only a few weeks ago. Her parents were distant, afraid of what Ama could do just by opening her mouth. They had their reasons and Ama agreed with them. She was dangerous. She had caused a death. She wasn't normal. Ama took a deep breath and threw the bag over her shoulder and grabbed the handle of her other suitcase, rolled it out of the house, and loaded it all into a taxi. There were muttered, awkward goodbyes and no hugs. She sat down in the taxi and stared out the windows, not really paying attention to the scenery as her home flashed by her and disappeared. Soon, almost too soon, Ama stood inside the school. Her luggage had been taken from her to be shoved into her assigned dorm room. She glanced down at the paper that was her school schedule and room number. She was to sleep in room 106. Was the other student, her room mate, going to be like her? Ama bit her lip and followed the map, not entirely sure where she was going until she heard the familiar sounds of a cafeteria. Well, that was human enough. Where were the ghouls? Ama chuckled to herself as she wandered into the room and completely past it and outside. She wasn't hungry. Her appetite had gone as soon as she'd stepped into that darn'd yellow taxi. She shoved her papers into her back pocket and tugged on her hoodie. Would they force her to wear a uniform? Ugh. That would be horrendous. She glanced around at the outside layout and soaking in the sounds of the limited nature there in the courtyard. Did they have a music room she could play in? Oh, if only she could get her hands on a piano... "Well, this is the start of a very new chapter," She admitted to herself. Yes, very new indeed. |

Kara-chan Kara finally stood from her bed, finishing the box lunch she had brought for her first day. This won't do, she told herself. Since she had gotten to the school, she had spent all her time in her dorm, doing absolutely nothing. While she couldn't stand strangers, she couldn't avoid them once classes started, so she may as well get used to them. Steeling her resolve, she opened the door, and stepped out into the rather empty halls. Lunch must not have ended quite yet. If she wanted to meet her classmates, the cafeteria was probably the way to go. With a soft sigh, she headed towards the cafeteria marked on her map. Even from behind the closed door, she could hear the roar of a hundred chattering students. While she needed to learn to tolerate strangers, a full cafeteria was a bit much! She looked back to her map. The courtyard sounded like a nice, calm place, but one where people might gather. Kara made her way to the courtyard, which to her slight pleasure, was empty save for an individual male student sitting under a light, messing with his hands, and a slightly younger girl, just standing there. Was she waiting for somebody? Regrettably, the male was obviously older than her, and certainly in a different grade. She cautiously approached the girl, her fan covering her nose. "H-hello..." she murmured. Edited by Shin Majin, July 18, 2010, 7:00 pm.

![]() Ama "Muse" Rosen Location: Courtyard Ama pulled out her map again and tried to figure out where all her classes were. The person at the front desk had told her just to tour around for today and to start classes tomorrow, though she was all but welcome to drop in later in the day to her afternoon classes. Her eyes stopped at one of the classes she'd missed because of her somewhat late arrival. Music was in the morning? And she even had music as a class? She grinned widely, glad to know she'd have a chance to play the instruments she'd been waiting for so long to touch. It had been too long... There was a greeting and Ama snapped out of her thoughts to turn and see another girl, somewhat timid and hiding behind a fan. She felt automatically awkward. She didn't know if the same social rules from her old school still stood in this one. She smiled nicely at the girl, figuring that would be safe enough. "Hello," She replied in a soothing voice. Ah, crap. She didn't know how to snap off her 'power' and already she was using it to calm down the girl in front of her! It was like an instinct for Ama to use her talent due to her years of peer counseling. This was going to be a pain. Edited by Wicked, July 18, 2010, 9:07 pm.

Kara-chan Kara felt an odd sense of calm wash over her as the girl spoke, though she wasn't quite sure why. "My name is Kara, and I thought that, um..." She paused, not quite sure what words she was looking for. Her gaze briefly focused on the girl's eyepatch, and she quickly averted her gaze. It's rude to stare, and it's not like she herself didn't have any unsightly features. "Well, I'm new here, and I thought I'd get to know my classmates. Are you a freshman too? Is this your first year?" As she spoke, her wings, then skin, then clothes, began to take on a soft pink hue, starting at her wingtips, then gradually shifted and brightened to a lemon yellow. |

![]() Ama "Muse" Rosen Location: Courtyard Ama tried to force back her power by reframing from talking but that was nearly impossible when trying to hold a conversation like a, somewhat, normal person. If she was going to start a new life here Ama needed to make sure she started off on the right foot. She smiled, laughing slightly at the girl's question. "Technically, I'm a junior but I'm new here," Ama said with a laugh. It was strange to be the odd one out. If only she were a freshman, she could make her way into the society here a bit easier than a junior. If you're surrounded by others who are also your age and new, it's easy to make friends, right? Ama sighed and tried not to stare too much at the girl's wings and yellow aura. Well, at least she knew others here were just as different as she was. She introduced herself, "I'm Ama. It's nice to meet you, Kara." |

~Cafeteria~ Someone rounded a corner, a swish of crimson hair the only thing visible as the figure silently flowed down the hall. His light footsteps made no noise as his feet almost seemed to glide from footfall to footfall. His emerald green eyes were visible as they peeked over his mirrored glasses and through his mass of long, straight hair. His face didn't seem to be settled in any specific look, but you could tell he was in a good mood. He had just finished unpacking his things in his new room, 203, and had yet to meet his roommate. He heard the bell rang and he knew that it meant it was lunch time. He walked out into the hall and happened to see Professor Raphael, an old collegue of his fathers. He walked up to him and said quietly "Hello Professor Raphael. My father, Professor Mccloud, Has told me much about you and your studies in the field of science. I look forward to attending your class. If you wouldn't mind i'd like to speak with you over lunch. See you in the cafeteria." and with that he left. It took him a while of wondering through the corridors and memorising where everything was, but eventually Sabet was lucky and found himself entering the noisy bustle of the cafeteria His open white shirt, which reached down to his knees kinda like a trench coat, showed his bare and lean yet muscled torso. His skin was pale as ivory since the irish don't tan well, and was in stark contrast to his colorful hair, some of which lay on his chest. His hands were in the pockets of his black jeans as he waited in line, his piercing eyes scanning the crowd of the room. most of the tables were full, but he spotted one with just 3 people at it. He would sit there when he got his meatball sub, as that was apparently what was on the menu for today. The line quickly filtered through and he soon found himself walking with a tray of somewhat over priced food. He smartly sat at the table of three where on girl was shooting rapid fire conversation at a guy. The third person hadn't said much. He would wait till they noticed him before he spoke. With that in mind he began to slowly devour his food, enjoying it. Edited by Kyoichi, July 18, 2010, 10:04 pm.

Steven "Spike" Smith Location: The Cafeteria~ His first day here, and he was dead-set on the notion that the feelings he'd have while in this school would be that of loathing. How dare his parents bring him here without his consent! Though he couldn't be completely angry with him. After all, they did show him their true colors by bringing him here, the treacherous jerks. Lastly, it would seem strange for a student to wear a pair of worn-down gloves, though with Spike's personality, it would be a very wise precaution. Other than his gloves, he carried a large roller backpack containing several t-shirts, underwear, jeans, and a toothbrush with toothpaste in one of the smaller compartments--In short, this backpack, almost as tall as he was was packed. "Stupid freaking parents that their blank 'ol smiles tellin' me what to do...." Spike snarled under his breath. Bitter as he was, he had no say in the matter. Grumbling, snarling, cursing, you name it--He really did not want to be here....Well, maybe not in the cafeteria--a haven where people could hang and eat, possibly not bothered by the worries of work for a set period of time. Inside the cafeteria, there were others, though he couldn't possibly be bothered at the moment, so he'd figure that he'd skip out on lunch himself for the time being by finding a table farthest from everyone else--Then again, a table in the back room wouldn't be such a bad choice. "Man, I can't be bothered with anything.....Darn." he grumbled furiously---The table he had so chosen already had someone sitting there---A caucasian male with snow-white hair and gray eyes; Rolling his own eyes, Spike merely cursed his own 'bad luck'. "Great. The table I choose is already taken", the sophmore stated with a snarl. |

![]() Raphael was a bit surprised when a passing student addressed him out-of-the-blue like that. Though the surprise was split between a few different reasons. Firstly, he was not used to the students speaking to him before classes began. Secondly, this boy had said Dr. Mccloud was his father. Raphael remembered working with the man on a study pertaining to marine plants. So his son was attending this school? That was interesting, to say the least. And thirdly, he wasn't at all used to being called Professor Raphael. Obviously the boy had no idea what to call Raphael, but he preferred for his students to call him Dr. Volerus. He shook his head after the boy left and looked over at Cable and Kastiel. "I will be seeing you in the cafeteria, then," he stated before striding away, heading downstairs and to the already crowded cafeteria. He kept out of the direct sunlight as he looked around the room for that boy. When he spotted him at a table with three other students, he sighed inwardly before heading over there. At least the table wasn't by a window, and at least the boy had chosen a spot opposite the other three students so Raphael could sit beside him and not feel crowded by the others at the table. He was very much aware of the wonderful blood rushing through their veins... "What is it you wished to speak with me about?" he inquired, seeming a bit uneasy. He didn't like the boy's glasses. They reminded him too much of mirrors, and he had the very strong urge to put more distance between him and the boy because of it. |

![]() Kara smiled invisibly behind the fan and nodded. It's nice to meet you, too. I guess we won't be classmates, but maybe we can friends. Something made this girl easier to talk to, but Kara still couldn't quite place her finger on it. It was then she noticed the odd color of her own arm, and the rest of her body. With a slight scowl, she envisioned the proper coloration of her skin and feathers, and willed it into being. Sorry about that. She blushed. Sometimes I accidentally warp the light around me, and do strange things like that. That's why I'm here. Now that she had partially opened up, Kara pondered lowering her fan, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. It was ironic, she thought, in that hiding her nose, she probably still looked odd holding her fan like that. "Anyway...uh, what dorm do you live in? I'm in 103." ![]() Marash stood, then stretched her body with a yawn. The flow of students had thinned to a trickle, and she had better things to do than nap. Hanging her tail low, which she often did when bored, she made her way to the library. She got several strange looks from the new students, most of which were humanoid. She responded to the stares with a mysterious, yet friendly, smile. In the library, she paid relatively little mind to the students. Most of those who were in the library probably knew her, anyway. She pondered a moment what to read, among the few books she hadn't already read, then strolled to the history section, levitating a book of Dwarven architecture down from a high shelf. Sitting down and flipping the book open, she began to immerse herself. Edited by Shin Majin, July 18, 2010, 10:41 pm.

![]() Daen glanced over at the red-haired boy that had just sat down at the table as well, but he shut up rather quickly when he saw one of the teachers sit down beside the new boy. Well, he'd leave those two to their talking, then. He'd heard about the rather unsettling teacher now sitting across from him. Dr. Raphael Volerus. Teacher of just about every science class this school had to offer. The guy was brilliant, but not the most approachable of teachers. Perhaps it was because he wore that make-up... Yeah. That was probably it. He looked behind the pair of girls that had joined him earlier and saw someone who looked rather annoyed. Daen couldn't guess at why, though. Well, maybe he could. Perhaps this guy had his heart set on this table before Daen took it? That could be it. "There's still some room here," he said to Spike. "If you want to sit down, feel free." Something made him think the boy wouldn't take him up on that offer, though. He seemed to be the antisocial type. |

![]() Ama "Muse" Rosen Location: Courtyard Ama was jolted when the girl's skin suddenly changed colors. It was odd to see her skin go from bright yellow to a normal complexion. It seemed that here, Ama would meet some very interesting people with all sorts of talents. Would there be one similar to her? "Well, don't we all seem strange?" She mused with a small smile. Ama pulled out her papers again, having forgotten her room number. "Room 106, it says," she mumbled before putting the papers back in her pocket. Her stomach started to grumble softly. Oh, so now she was hungry. Ama peered at the cafeteria, feeling edgy because of how crowded it was but her stomach obviously did not care. Edited by Wicked, July 18, 2010, 10:45 pm.
