200 Muslims in anti-Christmas demo

HATE-FILLED preacher Anjem Choudary is holding an anti-Christmas protest on Britain’s busiest shopping street. The nut is heading to London’s Oxford Street on Christmas Eve to try to convert a million “lost souls”.

The ranting cleric will lead disciples in a protest against the “promiscuity and materialism” of Christmas on a day when more than a million shoppers will in the world’s most famous shopping district.

And the Muslim rabble rouser hopes his actions will boost his evil plan to fly the “Black Flag of Sharia” over yet another British institution. Last night Choudary, 43, said: “Christmas is the complete anathema to Islam. Drunkenness, promiscuity and materialism are just a few of the issues we want to tackle.

“For us these are the ‘Evils of Christmas’. That’s why we are going to hold our latest roadshow in Oxford Street and Regent Street in the heartland of London’s best-known shopping district.

“Abortion, unwanted children, domestic violence and even blasphemy. It all happens at Christmas.

“We will be setting out stalls and marquees. We hope to have a presence of at least 200 Muslims.

“Hopefully around a million people will pass through this area. We will speak to as many of them as possible about the issues concerned.”

He added: “We will be distributing material about Islam. We hope, at a time when the country is in recession and the Government is frittering away money on foreign policy, people will see that Islam offers an alternative to the consumerism of this time of year.

“Islam does away with the need for drugs and alcohol and all the other evils that are synonymous with Christmas.”

Last year Choudary sparked outrage when he proposed a protest march through the repatriation town of Wootton Bassett. The demo was called off after a public outcry.

The EDL should counter-demo while throwing snowballs at the Muslim protesters, it would be a good way to disrupt the Islamic protest.

I am so sick of that surname.

Adinan Choudrey (or Chowdrey or Choudary or whatever) killed my little sister.

Anjem Choudary hmm I wish Mossad would point a metal object that produces projectiles at his temple and turn off the safety catch b4 seeing if the firing mechanism works correctly

Yeah but it would be good if the EDL counter-demo was throwing Snowballs at him during the whole protest.

Could anyone local pleeease call the OB if there is any religious hate-speak against non-islamic people and photograph and tape any of it. Here is the working of the 2006 Act:

29AMeaning of “religious hatred”

In this Part “religious hatred” means hatred against a group of persons defined by reference to religious belief or lack of religious belief.
Acts intended to stir up religious hatred

29BUse of words or behaviour or display of written material

(1)A person who uses threatening words or behaviour, or displays any written material which is threatening, is guilty of an offence if he intends thereby to stir up religious hatred.

(2)An offence under this section may be committed in a public or a private place, except that no offence is committed where the words or behaviour are used, or the written material is displayed, by a person inside a dwelling and are not heard or seen except by other persons in that or another dwelling.

(3)A constable may arrest without warrant anyone he reasonably suspects is committing an offence under this section.

(4)In proceedings for an offence under this section it is a defence for the accused to prove that he was inside a dwelling and had no reason to believe that the words or behaviour used, or the written material displayed, would be heard or seen by a person outside that or any other dwelling.

(5)This section does not apply to words or behaviour used, or written material displayed, solely for the purpose of being included in a programme service.

29CPublishing or distributing written material

(1)A person who publishes or distributes written material which is threatening is guilty of an offence if he intends thereby to stir up religious hatred.

(2)References in this Part to the publication or distribution of written material are to its publication or distribution to the public or a section of the public.

This act works for us as well as against but only if we insist on it

I think the EDL should protest, the image of the EDL protesting against Choudary's demo would gain more recruits, think about it.

Plus, as I said before it would be great if the EDL counter-demo would be throwing snowballs at them.

An EDL member needs to go there and set up a "Join EDL & Information booth"

They did this in US, wherever the WBC went - anti-WBC groups would come set up shop.

while id would never agree or side with this total prick , i do feel the meaning of christmas as been lost. and the very true fact that many religious holidays are now capitalised into materialisstic holidays, somewhat forcing people to conform to nigh on bankrupting themselves for expensive gifts and pointless tat to keep the family happy. it should remain a holiday of good will, and in no way am i trying to be the scrooge, but i dont see the point of spending so much on presents, why not save it for a holiday, or something else that will create a family memory, something that will last forever, not break or be forgotten and stuffed into the back of a cupboard.

i must admit i spent thousands last year, and due to personal circumstances i lost a great fortune in the summer, and now dont have two pennies to rub together. however this will not stop me having a great christmas. christmas, valantines day, easter, pancake day and all the alike, are lost in translation now, as many people just feel the need to spend spend spend!

I think they're really pushing the boat out on this one but I'm wondering if this is merely a precurser for other activities in the christian calendar?

We all know they'll try and get away with as much as they can so, if Muzzie Control can find any level of......'victory' or sense of achievement in this action we can expect similar actions on a wider scale in the future.

This will not prove to be a one off. They will push and push and PUSH this country into violent civil unrest.

Mark my words.

You have to be careful. The EDL would be stupid to try to stop this protest. The more publicity it gets on TV with the general public seeing what they are doing the better. The general public do not like Islam but they are the classic British Silent Majority who would just rather ignore it, but it is getting to the point where the general public are beginning to feel so strongly about this that they will take action. But it is not helped when groups like the EDL go in and try to stop these protests before they start, because how do u stop it without force? You just get branded as facist or racist by the media. You can't let that happen.

Consider this...

EDL plan a demo against Islamic extremists and UAF organise a counter demo plastered all over their website

Islamic extremists plan an anti-Christmas demo and UAF do NOTHING

...does that not imply that UAF are anti-Christmas by implication?

Caution is indeed required.

One false move and we'd be vilified by all and sundry. If the muzzies start accosting shoppers and innocent passers by on the streets this can only do harm to their cause, it'll not to them any favours if these acts are caught on camera either.

Christmas Eve is a busy time for ordinary people going about their business and they'll hardly wecome the intrusion.

If you just leave it, and there is a muslim protest, I guarantee it will make national news. I bet the general public there won't react to kindly to it anyway.

The most powerful tool is the media and propoganda. So far no 'right wing' group has done itself any favours in the media.

Can anyone sing well? We need a Christmas Carol singing division pronto! (should that be panto?) No snowballs, just versus.

Or better yet, can't someone call the Salvation army and ask them to turn up with a proper choir?
Brian of London has been actively occupying a very small slice of hideously over-occupied Tel Aviv since early 2009.

Carols would remind people of the true meaning of Christmas and our Christian heritage.
Plus its not Anjem and his crew that are the real danger. His very obnoxiousness is doing sterling service alerting people.

The Muslims in their own countries dont seem to have a problem with Christmas.

i know its all PC , but i dont believe it should be legal
lets look at what has become of our once proud , powerful country
during the christmas season`, we got Pricey locked up and banned from loving England
and this terrorist is allowed to freely roam the streets of our capital , churning out his bile of killing off England's traditions , heritage and indeed , people
the PC laws are almost as bad as the muslim problem
it should be called political extremism not correctness

we all know what fat boy andrew is about . the be all and end all is that he should not be allowed to voice his sh1t to western public . the cunning plan to get the west islamic can only be successful in todays stupid society
wake up .

I think that this muslim cleric is awful! he totaly misses the point of xmas which is a call to peace and goodwill to all mankind. yes, xmas has become a problem for some ppl with excessive acts and drunkeness etc but that is a small minority of people. i think a peaceful protest by the EDL might help the British people to see they're not alone in the face of extremism.

Perhaps he gets the point. Islam does not want peace and goodwill to all mankind. It wants war until the 'najis kafirs' (that's us) are enslaved or exterminated.

Islam is utterly opposed to everything that Christmas stands for. See http://s1.zetaboards.com/EDL_The_Forum/topic/3964329/1/

The problem is that TV news will bottle it as usual and not show it or it will get a passing mention once in some hardly watched bulletin just so they can say it was mentioned.
