Folk traditions are no longer passed down, this stuff is English heritage but ancient and observed by only by minorities, which is a shame.
We have been living in towns and cities for over 200 years and we have lost all the country traditions and gained none, apart from drinking heavily and rioting

Folk traditions are no longer passed down, this stuff is English heritage but ancient and observed by only by minorities, which is a shame.
We have been living in towns and cities for over 200 years and we have lost all the country traditions and gained none, apart from drinking heavily and rioting
they cancelled the annual folk festival here,i was gutted,
made you feel really english...they all had the tankard on the belt loop :D

i sat a whole afternoon in whitby once watching a morris dancing competiotin,
it was great :D :D :D

then 2 weeks later was watching the damned at whitby goth festival...

i fekn love been ENGLISH ....
the first prize in the lottery of life :D
