I can't take it any longer. I try to be courteous and respectful to everyone I meet but a vocal minority always ends up ruining it leading to people stereotyping all Asians. I hate some aspects of the culture, I hate the way these kids act like the black kids in American ghettos, most of all I hate that brown ass Amir khan. How can I help the movement/ thanks. |

Just to update all you newbies. Every time that we have a demo we get an influx of people on Facebook and on here because of the publicity. Some of these people are genuine and some of them not so. Usually in the week leading up to a demo we get an influx of trolls asking stupid questions looking to get a reaction so that they can screen-shot it and use it to quote the EDL. Some of these are journo's and most of them are UAF or from any number of misguided, ill informed or just downright retarded and ignorant lefty scum from expose or antifa. DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS! If it looks like sh1t, smells like sh1t, tastes like sh1t then it is sh1t. Seemples.

I think it is wrong to dismiss someone like this as a troll. When we have an upcoming demo, then it stands to reason that the profile is going to be raised amongst muslims and lapsed muslims. Please don't just dismiss someone and push them out. Let's give them a chance and find out if they are genuine in what they say. We have the validation and cage principles in operations - that means within those principles we should be prepared to give someone the benefit of the doubt. We are going to get more muslims and ex-muslims who want to come on demos or get involved. We have to be open to that. |

It can be frustrating to newcomers to the edl the way we are all treated with suspision equally until we have attended a demo and been deemed as genuine,i was knocked back by my local division because i didnt know anyone in the edl ,this is understandable given the amount of trolls ,journos, uaf ,mdl, mac scum the edl has to contend with daily. As i said i can understand this stance but as the edl grows and attracts more poeple who do not fit into the typical demographic and god forbid dont use facefcuk they are going to lose some good genuine folk who will give up at the first hurdle. Yes i know if they give up at the first hurdle they aint true patriots ,its allmost as though putting up with this suspicion is some kind of test. The edl is growing very fast and as it gathers more monentum this is going to be an ongoing problem, sometimes difficult calls have to be made so we should all trust the admins and mods who do a sterling job and have exsperience in sniffing out the troublemakers. Roll on tommorow NS

It's understandable you would be a little skeptical of someone denouncing their culture but I have grown up in the asian community of peterborough for all my life (still do) and have seen firsthand the behavior of some of these pakistanis and am not blind enough to admit that there is something wrong. The fairs used to come down here to the local park annually but ever since a fight broke out between asians and whites they don't come closer than the city centre. Just a few months ago I saw a few of them sneak into some foreigners back yard and steal their mini-motor, the police knocked on my door a day later and I told them their names. I know there are good asians out there but violence seems to be embedded into the culture and most idolize rappers more than they do any prophet. So I am just saying I can see where you are coming from but lets not profile a whole race. |

In this wonderfully enriching british multi-cultural society you are classified as asian and further sub-divided as pakistani. I am called white british. But I am not. I am English. I would like to know why you consider yourself to be pakisani rather than English. |

If you were born in Pakistan, then that is who you are, so be proud of it. If you were born in Pakistan, but have adapted your life to being British, then you are more than welcome here as long as you pay your way. But if you were born in England, then your roots are Englisc, and Pakistan is as alien culture to you, because you will never have experienced the life out there. However, if you are a troll as many people on here seem to think you are, Then fcuk off to "ALLAH" and enjoy your virgins, I just hope for your sake, that they don't all look like Susan Boyle! Nobody should be ashamed of their race. The major problem the media has with the anti-Islamification movement is that they conflate religion with race, when the two are entirely separate. One of the most frustrating things about aspects of the anti-Islamification movement is that it has been hijacked, to some extent, by the genuine racist far right, who would distinguish a person's Britishness by their skin colour or their sexual orientation, when no such distinctions have been irrelevant since the Roman invasion of Britain in AD 43. In reality, it doesn't really matter what religion you belong to so long as you respect the freedom of other people to carry on how they fit and speak how they see fit, then you are rightfully entitled to every protection under the law. It's really not a difficult society to get along in. Sometimes it's easy to forget that Islam is pernicious philosophy that threatens most of its detractors, the majority of who worldwide are former Muslims, with exile from their families and friends, death by stoning and eternal torment in the hereafter. It's easy to see then how difficult it is for any individual to step away from that sort of background, which is what makes the religion as dangerous as it is. You shouldn't feel ashamed of your race or your community, but rather feel proud that despite the pressures put on you, you've made an educated decision on what you think is right. |

All Botty is saying is that he is pissed off with the idiots who's behavour is making all Asians look bad when he is trying to be nice and friendly to every one. Sound familiar. The majority of the EDL work hard to raise the profile of the EDL and to improve its image, but what happens a very small number of complete dick heads through their yobish behavour undo all our hard work. I think a lot of us know exactly how he feels. I agree with Homo Sapien on this one |

Are you Pakistani by birth or by family origin? Either way be proud of who you are. There is nothing to be ashamed of being either Pakistani or a Pakistani Brit. If you are the latter, a British born pakistani, is your loyalty to the homeland of your parents or to your own homeland England? If you were born here whether you are Muslim or not your first loyalty should be to this country. The Ummah should have your loyalty also, but you should view the ummah not in terms of territories or perceived (mostly self-inflicted) injustices, but in terms of spiritual solidarity. This world whether you are Christian , Jew or Muslim is a passing transient thing compared to the eternity of Jannah/Heaven |
