Is there any light at the end of the tunnel? Is anyone in authority making a stand, or comming round to the facts? I know it's a steep uphill struggle, but are there too many muslims in positions of power throughout our land? Yes i'm new here and wish to learn as much as i can soak up. Has anything changed yet? |

The french revolution came from the bottom up my friend. And I feel this is picking up pace. I think what is being achieved through the edl, and also through political parties such as ukip is effectively a universal version of nationalism without the usual racist doctrine seen with neo nazis and the bnp. One of the reasons those groups and parties (within this country) have never taken a foothold. Now we look at the edl, which grew so rapidly and bigger than any neo nazi org. Or ukip which came 4th in the last local elections, and I believe beat labour in terms of actual votes (correct me if im wrong). What this says is. The mainstream is failing to adress the concerns of the people. And in the past there has been a reluctant mentality of well its either the "mainstream or the extreme." Now we have such groups to join and associate with it is no wonder they are growing at such a fast rate. Now this either means the mainstream will be forced to listen, or they themselves will at some point lose power. And if by some miracle, the political elite try and subdue this from the top down. Well as we have seen, the British people arent up for taking it anymore. Only so much you can be pushed, before its enough.

I believe personally the EDL is getting somewhere, In terms of the growing numbers of supporters. There was abit of mixed message at the beggining when one or two neo-nazis tagged along to demonstration, but they were soon removed. In my opinion it's all about understanding, those that understand the real message the English Defence League puts out, and realise the threats of radical islam that it tries to alert the people of Britain about are now dead keen supporters of the group and its motives. I think that it has also had a succesfull start in terms of supporting our troops, with groups like MAC (muslim against crusades) about theres always the threat of them turning up to abuse our soldiers, but the EDL has always had a fare few members at the home coming marches to ensure scum like the MAC were kept silent but most of all opposed. As for people in authority, Im not too sure but hopefully they'll soon wake up and support our cause. Welcome by the way. Hope you enjoy your stay with the EDL. |

and from this day forward, as we have right from the start, come wind and rain, we won't complain, we'll continue to march. We'll be there in our numbers, We'll make our voices heard, to defend our land from hate preachers, counter there every word. demo days and meet and greets, serious but fun, and at the end of everything, with victory over scum, you'll here us cheers, OI get us a beer, our hard work here is done. | |

Those in authority are too busy trying to figure out how to stop us to be bothered about our message. We are in this for the long haul but i believe that we have made plenty of progress. |

I hope so, but do these people in authority want to stop us because it is too late? Because they believe they have no anwer to the problem? Through fear of telling the truth? These problems are 'so in your face' that denial just doesn't make any sense. It's doing my head in! Sorry, i just feel like they live in a perfect bubble and haven't a clue what is happenning on the street, but of course they do know exactly. From what i can make out the EDL is as far from racism as you can get ,yet this term is still used againts us. Has this opinion changed dramatically in the eyes of the media since it's birth? I wasn't around at the start. |

Last Stand, you must learn to be patient lol. Over the last 50/60 years the islamic and the whole immigration issue in Britain has never been discussed, not in depth anyway. So we are trying to educate the sheeple, some are looking for an answer while a lot think everything is hunky dory. This is a marathon and not a sprint, at the moment we the Defence League movement are in regular training and we are now fit enough to run the marathon but we know we are in agood enough shape to finish, when others have quit.
