This is from a friend of mine Certainly applies in Oz. Don’t know if this is happening overseas???? This is a growing trend in Western marketing - bending over backwards for the Muslim minorities who WILL NOT tolerate being offended... Thought you should be aware. I went straight to the fridge after reading this and looked on the back of a packet of Bega thick and tasty cheese slices sure enough the symbol was there very small but THERE I will be checking all my shopping from here on I have also checked Bega cheese and will return it today NOT HAPPY Also here is feedback link to Cadbury... http://www.cadbury.com.au/Feedback.aspx URGENT - READ THIS NOW Have you ever seen this symbol (CIRCLE) on your chocolate or food products packaging ? THE ROUND SYMBOL IS THE MUSLIM SYMBOL The LHS (circle)symbol is that of the - HALAL CERTIFICATION AUTHORITY - AUSTRALIA This is a Muslim Association that collects money from the Australian Food Industry for this symbol so that Muslims will purchase the product. Yet we are told the Muslim population are only one and a half percent of Australia 's total! On a recent radio talk-back show a well known host was alerted to this practice. He hit a stone wall when trying to find out HOW MUCH money was paid to this organization and WHERE the money went. It was explained that by buying those marked products at least you are supporting a religion that is actively trying to destroy the Australian way of life or at the other extreme the money MAY be supporting terrorism. Many Australian Companies are paying this money including BEGA, CADBURY and many other well known companies. Check before you buy. DO YOU KNOW WHERE THAT MONEY IS GOING? Until you know, support those companies that support the Australian way of life. Check it for yourself I checked out Cadbury today at Woolworths!!! No more Cadbury's for me!!! I will check everything from now on... It is also on my Bega Cheese. The symbol is so small you can hardly ready what it says. This is absolute fact. Before Lorraine went shopping Monday I showed her this email. She looked at the products in the shop mentioned and they had the symbol hidden on the back of the packaging and in a very weak colour that was hard to see. Leggo's Pasta Sauce has the logo on their bottles. . Edited by getonwithit, Dec 7 2010, 11:33 PM.

Thanks, I'll be looking out for said symbol in future. Info like this needs spreading so that everyone knows what is going on. The more that know, the less money will go toward funding terrorism. |

couldnt find anything specific for uk - seems there isnt one official certification body altho mulsim groups are 'working towards this' as per food standards agency comminque jan2010 think the main logo will be the word halal - you can see it above pakistani fastfood shops - also see it here on this (excellent) blog: http://anonym.to?http://loganswarning.com/2010/03/10/uk-first-non-islamic-school-to-serve-strict-halal-food/ correct me if im wrong anyone - i just researched this real quick so may have missed something rita |

When we get the will to do it, we have the means to really disrupt the supermarkets. One lady already told us how she emptied the entire frozen meat section of the freezer. Then wandered round the supermarket for an hour or so, queued up, and asked if it was halal. When the answer was "yes" she just left it at the checkout. Wait until EDL has 50,000 actively involved... |

Kellogs cornflakes have similar I think what is printed is Msa and some Arabic logo and a green arch like design(the print is very small), there boycotted in my house from now on, I don't fund any company that finances Islam or it's followers. There is another sign I don't recognise it is a black and white circle that has MK in the middle anybody know what this means, I will try to find out. |

I'm not sure - but would it be a good idea to have a new forum dedicated to all things Halal, it could include: 1) Halal food markings. 2) Halal suppliers e.g. supermarkets, fast food, schools, hospitals, prisons Etc. 3) Halal slaughter video's 4) Information on Halal slaughter men (Muslim job security) 5) Halal farms and slaughterhouses. 6) Complaint letter templates - to be sent to schools, supermarkets, fast food, MPs, PM (and whoever else we should complain to) and whatever else helps people to demonstrate against or avoid this filthy trade. I think a lot of people (me included) would avoid Halal at all costs, but just don't have all the information to hand, a dedicated section would definitely help, and would give like-minded people a more organised way to protest. |

Halal = approved, its not restricted to meat and slaughter, it covers all food products, indeed I believe it covers many areas of Muslim life. |

Your right, Halal is a term used to say that something is allowed and approved in Islam. It can mean anything. |

"The true Islamic concept of peace goes something like this:'Peace comes through submission to Muhammad and his concept of Allah'(i.e. Islam). As such the Islamic concept of peace, meaning making the whole world Muslim, is actually a mandate for war. It was inevitable and unavoidable that the conflict would eventually reach our borders, and so it has." - Vernon Richards Nizom, Novil, Ne'haveh Dugma VeNenaze'ah - We shall Innovate, Lead, Set an Example and Win. - My Paratrooper Unit Motto | |
