after the preston demo-a violent confrontation took place in and outside the jazz bar in preston. one of our members went into the jazz bar after the demo for a quiet drink.the police where putting edl members on coaches to take them to the train station. this certain edl member is a former para- a falklands vet and also won the m.m in northern ireland and is certainly no thug . the police asked him to leave and he replied that he was just finishing his drink upon which 2 members of the lancashire police force manhandled him towards the doors ,one officer with his arm twisted firnly up his back and the other in a headlock using his head to smash through the doors and then through him to the floor on the outside. in the melee his arm was broken-some people came to his aid outside shouting at the policemen concerned who then left the scene. the edl member boarded the coach and left the area. i have been asked to post this on his behalf seeking anyone who winessed anything to get in touch so possible further action can be taken about the officers concerned.any eyewitness-photo's or footage will be much appreciated - cheers |

Sorry mate, I was out of the pub 30 seconds before the OB rocked up in huge numbers and was wondering what the f**k had happened in the time since I left the pub. I'll put the word out amongst our division (lots of them were in the pub), and let you know if there is anything. |

Typical heavy approach. OB knew that some of the members would be able to handle themselves and decided to go in "guns blazing" and ask no questions from what I am reading. There are good honest coppers out there... I know that they will be as horrified by this event as much as the rest of us. As for the scum who carried out such a cowardly attack... how can they see themselves as part of any meaningful community? They are simply scumbags out for their own gratification. Lets face it. Wherever the EDL protest... wherever there is a chance that the EDL will get a chance to put their case; the OB will field their own militant right wing force. The truth is that their illegal aggression will not be subjected to scrutiny but the image of them charging this poort soldier through doors and breaking his arm will be used as evidence of his own wrongdoing... not that of the police... Bloody typical. |

It seems the police are as infiltrated by scum as we are. There was plenty of CCTV outside the Jazz Bar and all of it was pointed at us so anything other than all of the footage is perverting the cause of justice. |

i was there. I was first to be thrown out as i was stood right by the door . Just a quckie to give you the context. This was the Tactical Aid Unit (TAU) - the local police were fine with us.. They wanted us out of Preston before Millwall came out of Preston's football ground. (IMO) The copper that approcahed me told me 'OUT' - i replied i would just finish my drink and he grabbed my can out of my hands and just crushed it using his gloved hands and pushed me out the pub where i was then hit in the face with an open hand by a Seargent. Tried to take a pic of his number but got bundled on the bus. These guys - the TAU - do not accept any resistance (polite or not). I am no fan at all, they are thugs, same as the idiots on Coppers if you saw it. Good luck with getting CCTV from Jazz bar, it is Prestons Divs meeting place. And hope the lad with the broken arm is feeling much better. It could have been any of us really... |

Yep, the Tactical Aids Units (TAUs) are no friends of anyones apart from themselfs, egotistic wankers. A good few coppers are ok with the EDL but not these TAU jumped up wankers, the coppers program exposed the arrogant elitist cuns for what they are. Some coppers even hate their own TAUs from reading police forums. I and I'm sure a good few others have seen a TAU not have it their own way before, they're not as invincible as they like to think they are. |

They sound just like the Police of Nuneaton, got a badge on their shoulder and they think they're better than everyone. Policemen told me to "sh1t up" in my own House and I openend the front door and told him to leave until he had a court order because he was in my House, he soon appologised. I hope this guy is ok and I hope those two Policemen are kicked from the force and sentenced to a good five or six years in Prison. - NS |
