I'm all for this, might get a bit rough as there is probably the biggest amount of EDL opposers in Brum but it's MUCH needed.
British by birth, English by the grace of God.

The EDL went there last year and had a protest. This was before any1 really knew who the EDL were. I might be wrong but i think there was about 100 edl there. they ended up fighting half of birmingham ;) . they defo wont be taking libertie's again. I THOUGHT THE EDL WAS BANNED FROM BIRMINGHAM

what really stands out to me about that is that they ended up fighting half of brum not running away like the cowardly mdl do at the first sign of trouble...stand together and stand strong looks like there could be a huge crowd there after the figures from the weekends demos

lookin forward to it

Went there twice:

First time there was 80 max, police lines were broken by lads in the EDL area to go and attack the counter demo. They had 10x the numbers and most of the the little twats bottled it and ran leaving a handful of us to go at it.

Second time we met up in a pub near some canal (I think), marched straight through the town - anyone who tried it got slapped to bits. Turned a corner to see 20 Asians with sticks calling it on, get well and truly done and run - we ended up barraged in a pub by old bill then put on a bus that got ripped to bits. Ended up in Cov nick with 30+ other lads - let go at stupid am and had to get a taxi back to Brum, then a National Express home.

They were the days when it wasn't just standing around singing songs. ^o)

birmingham is a bit of a hot bet for the radicals, not just the city alone but the outskirts, reynar will tell you, if we go down by the blues ground, its full of em, and it WOULD get noticed

Yeah I know, I was simply making the point that if the EDL had another main demo there, it would put an end to the claims of Muslims and the left that we're to scared to go back to Brum.

Would have to be in the town center as we will get more media coverage that way. The City center is surrounded by Islamic communities so we don't even have to do it on their front door step when they can just travel to the town center on foot.

I reckon there would be about 5,000-7,000 people at the protest site wherever it's EDL, UAF or local muslims.

The population in Birmingham is around 14% Muslim and it would be an ideal place to have a mass demonstration by the EDL. There are areas of the city that the radicals claim are "no go" areas for the rest of us, including the police. Count me and my family in.

I reckon 2000+ easy for here in Brum. No doubt the local asian youth and MDL would turn out to in big numbers. This had got to be done in the coming year. Too many problems here need sorting out.

Another Brum demo would be good sometime in the future, but how about places with problems EDL have'nt been to yet such as High Wycombe and Slough ?
