Well done to everyone.

The fact that the EDL can have two demos on the same day that both have thousands of people attending shows how much it has progressed.

citizen steve is quality . i did like the song about the england football team
demos always seem that little bit classier without helomofo and edl_avfc !
I had a word with some bbc people who were there asking about their bias
we need to demo at the bbc

It was a fantastic event, even tripping on a pile of horse sh1t and nearly nose-diving into the next pile didn't spoil the day!

"Well done, be proud of yourselves" to all my fellow patriots!

Was a greta day, fantastic atmosphere, exactly how a demo should be. We should all the doubters we can hold two national demo's on the same day with fantastic numbers at both.

I don't know how many were at Nuneaton, at least 1,000 maybe 2,000. I say this because apart from Wookie recognising me, I didn't see Christine who I only met last week, and as she has a walking stick, I should have noticed her. But then from when our coache debouched I never saw anyone else from our coach, and I moved along the march taking photos and went round the demo itself taking photos. That is a sign of how big it was. I will post a photo later of the whole demo so people can get a sense of the size.

From the sounds of it there were loads of forum people there. I'm annoyed I didn't get to put faces to names!

I was there Homo but it was so big I didn't see you, I saw Wookie & lost him in the crowds & struggled to find him again (well he is a bit short for a wookie ;) )
Apart from a bit of pushing & shoving when we were marched past the MDL/UAF it was a quiet, dignified affair.
Everyone who attended did us proud & lived up to our stance of peacefully protesting against extremism

What higher recommendation can there be for a demo on a cold winter's day (I know it's still autumn, but it was winter in Nuneaton).

I've got some really good photos from yesterday that I'm going to post up. I'm doing it in a separate thread, because I want to circulate the URL so it can go on FB and get a lot of attention.

As I said to a journalist yesterday, the governement should be giving EDL £50 million a year as the only organisation that is creating/re-creating a positive, encompassing English (British) identity. It is EDL that will save this country from civil war.

I missed you too, HS but rest assured, my flag will ALWAYS be held high at demo's. You can activate your radar with confidence although I should maybe consider stilts at Peterborough 'cos being a bit on the dwarfy side can't help my case either!
