I really think the tide is starting turn - the lion is definately waking from his slumber now. Never underestimate the power of the people! I've never been a fan of the express , but fair play to them for having the guts to start something like this. I'm off to sign it now. Have a good day people x

Signed.

I hope that this isn't just some flash in the pan stunt to sell papers and they actually see this through.

Hopefully if they get a ground swell all the red tops will jump on the bandwagon as they so often do and we can force a change.

Lets get us out and away from them lying, thieving, good for nothing cretins!

I really don't want to pour cold water on this, but it won't make a blind bit of difference if the country was 100% behind the campaign. The previous Labour administration promised us a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty, they backed out and signed the Lisbon Treaty anyway, despite the outrage and the calls for the referendum. 'Call Me Dave' Cameron promised us a referendum but has backed out of that too. What chance do you really think that the present ruling elite are going to listen to us the people and/or care what we want or think or say?

Why don't the EDL run for election. With well over 55.000 members you'd have a gd start and even if you don't come anywhere near close it would be good way of publicising who we are and will attract more members ?

Because people are starting to wake up soon there will be an uprising of people fed up with lies and broken promises soon they will have no choice but to listen

UKIPs been saying that because of new legislature in Parliament any petition reaching 100,000 sigs MUST be debated in the House..........and its keeping the pressure up on all fronts...........BELIEVE........

the eu will NOT last.............anything you try and force on the public is only going to end in defeat.

I think that he will do rather well against any panel and any audience. I just hope that he has recovered fully from his brush with the reaper sufficiently to be on top form.

As for this petition not getting off the ground because of the various broken promises by our so-called leaders, it is good that once again this subject is up for debate and that there is a tabloid driving it.

As I have previously stated, if there is sufficient public support for this the other tabloids will either have to get on board or get left behind.

It may very well amount to nothing but we have to try don't we?

The E.U. is dead in the water, monetary Union was the last step towards real political union. no growth in the world economies due to peak oil has stopped economic growth and the world economies will contract in the coming years means that the different countries will start to use protectionism to protect there economies, that will mean the end of the Euro. which will prove to be the end of the E.U. Multicultural political units usually fall apart very quickly under periods of economic stress or war, think of the USSR it didn't even take a couple of years. The Austro-Hungarian empire fell in less than a year after the end of the first world war. The U.N. will also disappear the same as the league of Nations did when the second world war began. When none of us know but I would guess somewhere in the next five years. I think that most are aware here that Muslims want to destroy Israel and those Yids are not going to go into the dark quietly, and who is to blame them, they have an estimated 150-200 nuclear weapons and they will use them if they are attacked and who can blame them. We have all been watching the build up of forces on the borders of Israel and when they feel powerful enough they will strike and that will be the end of the world as we know it. It will also be the end of Islam because the Israelis will not be judicial in how they dish out the clog and I expect many Islamic Capitals will end up as green glass parking lots. It will also mean the end of the world economy and there is not reset button, as you wont be able too get cheap oil out of the middle east. I am old and Grey and wont be around for long, and I feel sorry for the state of the country which we have left you, stay strong and stick together
