Considering how fragile the world economies are at the moment and that certain countries are flexing nuclear ambitions and also there is a re-grouping of countries going on. During a conflict we are assumed “all” in it together, but are we really?

How would the special ones behave if we were really up against it, as a nation?

For example, if there were rationing would food be allocated to all or to a select few, think who owns most food stores and warehouses?

Its good to ask such questions, because I thing they will be relevant in the future.

By the way, I don't have an answer.

A really sad question to ask, and worrying too, because hundreds of thousands of them fought and died for the British Empire in 2 world wars and other conflicts.

The youngest muslim to die for Britain in WW1 was just 15 years of age. How times change!

It's strange how as we have decolonized and pulled out of Muslim countries they've begun to hate us more and more. You'd think it would be the other way round.

"This is a sad day for all of us, and to none is it sadder than to me. Everything that I have worked for, everything that I have believed in during my public life, has crashed into ruins. There is only one thing left for me to do: That is, to devote what strength and powers I have to forwarding the victory of the cause for which we have to sacrifice so much"

They would be on the 'side' of islam. We are living in what the islamists call 'dar al harb', which is the 'land of war', so islam is already at war with us, and I for one already know which side they're on in that one. Or did you mean another war?
