I mustve missed that bit on the show when i was making a cuppa..well no wonder, they look at me strange when i wont move out of the way for them! they even look at my dog in a strange way too, hes only small, 7 kgs and they act either 'scared' and/or look at him in a strange way when they see him..mind you the footpath is so wide and they dont care to walk on the other side...glad i never make way for them or theyd feel much more superior.. i always make way for senior citizens, cyclists etc..but never for 'them'.. |

I always move at a brisk pace, weaving around people. Sometimes their reaction hints that they think I'm "avoiding them". Muslim women with children often thank me when I "give them space" ... it's the younger muslim males who "vibe" me. To be honest it's not just the immigrant-origin people who play this game of getting us to move out of their way ... European tourists are often reluctant to "be polite". Sometimes I say to them: "I live round here mate." Germans have a habit of walking several abreast so there's no pavement for people approaching them. Aussies are nearly always "clued up" as to what they need to do when the pavement is congested - even when they're "inebriated". |

anyone fancy a day out shopping with this fella ? im in xx I stand my ground with em. I stand aside for no one man or woman unless they are elderly, the special ones get the respect they deserve. they are arrogant, they think they own everything they step on, and they aint steppin on me or mine.they will get the courtesy they deserve and the courtesy they give. none. Just get a nice slobbering great Dane. Great Danes are nice friendly dogs and like to make friends with people so they approach them Problem solved. |

ever since i have had the wee frenchie .... i have noticed that moslims shy away from the dog when i walk him.... i actually was in the park not long ago, just outside belfast and walking the dog with my daughter, and this moslim family were walking towards us. I said to my daughter no need to walk on the muddy part.. they will divide like the sea watch and see ... she looked at me like wtf dad ... and hold and behold they divided into the mud as me the dog and me daughter carried on walking through .. the look on their faces was priceless ... i have notice an increase in headscarf wearing moslims in northern ireland in the last 6 months .... and i wouldnt be surprised if there is a planning application in for a mosques soon .. i tell you i gave sammy wilson a right earful prior to the last elections about islam, and to be fair, he was pretty much agreeing with me on a large part ... it is also good to see that the government is going to tackle visas for students .... i think alot of the problems we have are associated with students coming form countries to do courses that really dont benefit us, and are here in the hope they can get a free ticket into the country ... sooner they introduce the new rules the better tbh |

Ruby I have a soft spot for Great Danes, I went to friends house in Denmark over 30 years ago with my Daughter, she was 18 months old, she had a nice big bobble on the top of her hat. I rang the door of my friends flat he had a big beautiful Great Dane. He opened the door, Bjorn that big great softy of a dog squeezed past to greet us and side swiped my daughters head with his tail catching the bobble and forcing her hat over her eyes. Now my daughter never took sh1t from anyone especially her Dad, she swung round and straight armed him in his testicles. Bjorn swung round mouth open teeth showing in the mood to kill, saw my daughter standing there with here hat over her eyes. I don't think she got over it knock her too the ground and almost licked her too death, lovely dogs. Great friends after that. My cat was the same Siamese, I don't think she could stand the sight of me, used to bit my ankles if I was late putting out her food, talk about attitude, came home one day to find my daughter sleeping on some cushions on the floor with eight kittens all snuggled together. the Siamese cat was draped around her head licking her clean. A hiss told me I was not wanted. Animals on the whole are a better judge of people than most and will defend there owners but it is also nice too have something big and scary and a great Dane fits the bill perfectly. |

I've got quite a population of burka clad women near me. When I'm out walking my dog they run a mile... Honestly (see attached picture)!! At least I don't have to walk in the road ![]() Saying that, one time a hijab wearing woman came up to me and started asking about the dog. I allowed her and her children to pet him. He did what all dogs did and licked them etc. Next time I saw her she was with her husband. She smiled and said hello and the dog went to say hello. The bloke flipped out and started shouting. I don't know what he said but it made me laugh. I'm sure the woman got some sort of abuse because of me and the dog. |
