I would just like to say thank you to all the soldiers out there. You do so much for us and put your lives on the line for so little in return. Too many take for granted our freedoms that you have fought and died for.... God bless you all..

I second what you said.

My personal belief is that these countries aren't worth the life of 1 British serviceman/woman, let alone the 345 that have made the ultimate sacrificed (as of a few days ago)

I don't know how the government can justify the deaths of these heroes, to their grieving parents, families and children.

I am from a military family going back generations, and I am proud to have served from the late 70's to the 90's. but if I was 17-18 again right now, I would never enlist, and thank god none of my 4 children joined the forces, two of them thought of following the family tradition - but I was able to convince them not to put their lives on the line for johnny foreigner.

Bring our Boys and Girls home ..... to their families who love and care for them and want them back.

I thank all those who fight for my freedom and for a safe world.

God bless you and keep you safe .

The best thing I ever did was joining the Army in 1975, our war was in that once sh1thole

Northern Ireland, my own Regiment lost 12 good lads in total, and they are always in my thoughts,

would I join up now if I was 18 again? Probably, but then again I come from a family of fighters, its

what I was always good at ! :england: :knight: :viking: :england:
