Here is a report from the National Secular Society's e-newsletter - but why on earth these parasites were allowed to fleece the loot in the first place is beyond reason ; Budget cuts bring to an end another religious privilege Muslims are furious that the Government has cut a £110,000 grant that sends doctors to Mecca during the Hajj to treat British pilgrims who become ill. The grant, which has been made by the Foreign Office for the past 11 years, paid for flights and accommodations for eight voluntary doctors to accompany the 25,000 British Muslims making the pilgrimage. The Government insists that it has not cut the grant as part of its austerity measures but because medical services in Saudi Arabia are now sufficient to cover any needs. However, Lord Ahmed of Rotherham is determined that the grant will be restored. At a meeting in the House of Commons last week he said: "We will gather a petition, ask questions in the House of Lords. We will do fund-raising, perhaps sending an independent team of doctors." A Foreign Office spokeswoman said: "The FCO recognises the Hajj as a deeply important expression of faith for many Muslims... They [the Saudi authorities] have assured us they have ample capability and resources to provide full medical facilities. This brings our support for British Hajjis into line with the support we provide for British nationals at other events. The FCO does not provide medical services at any other event involving large numbers of British nationals." |
| Winston Churchill on Islam ; ' The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities - but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.... | |

At last! a bit of common sense, and as pointed out, the FCO dont provide a posse of doctors to anyone travelling to say, Lourdes, at taxpayers expense, so its quite right to put an end to this gravy train |

Lord Achmed of Rotherham? Wasn't he the one who threatened to mobilise 10,000 jihadists to stop Geert Wilders speaking in the House of Lords? |

What about all the other millions of Brits travelling around the world? Where are their free doctors accompanying them. Travel insurance not apply if your Muslim? |

i cant believe the government actually funded this in the first place ! why on earth did they do this ? people who choose to do hajj do so at their own risk, any UK citizen attending religious festivals regardless of faith do so at their own cost, via travel insurance, why should they treat moslims differently to hindus, sikhs etc its a joke tbh |

I'd like to see a whole new budget for the special ones. A one way trip back to Pakistan, free of charge, for all musrats who turn up on youtube videos or on facebook saying that they will smash the EDL or that white girls are sluts, or that Islam will dominate the world, or that whites are worth nothing. Oh and we can also send their families with them, for moral support. |

Good sign to see the government not pandering to the special ones. When I go on holiday i don't get a free team of medics and doctors paid for by the state so why should they.If they don't get insurance because it's "haram" then that's their problem not ours. |

The worst cuts in living memory has just been announced but lord 'I killed someone and only did 16 days for it' Ahmed thinks his 'community' is exempt from these cuts. The cnut needs to get a grip of reality. I want to go on holiday next year, can I have 20 grand incase I get ill. |

I came across a document recently, I can't say how or where unfortunatly, you know how things are. It contained the details of a Mr. and Mrs. Islam ( no I'm not making it up) who despite living in this country for 20 years, did not speak English. Amongst other things, the document listed that they received £10,000 last year in child benefit alone. |
