I bought a metal poppy pin badge a couple of years back but always put in the tins, never take a poppy though and i wear it all year round. Why should we only remember the fallen 1 day a year. I also recently bought a wrist band as well goes quite well with the H4H one i wear.
Good point why only remember them for 1 day,
It would be nice if we (EDL) wore our poppys all year round from now on,
If members of the public or anyone asks, why, You dont have to say its an edl thing,
Just mention it is in protest against those that deserated the 2 minutes silence today,

the word will spread, No matter how hard the press try and cover this up,

aluman don't insult ne pal. I'm no phoney. They fact troops are there and dying for some bullsh1t excuse for a war, which indeed is illegal and not knocking you for that.they should be here protecting the boarders and streets etc stopping homegrown terror.
That makes each one of there deaths all the more terrible.no drop of blood is worth anything in them sh1thole hellhole deserts yeah they may be under orders, but they don't go on a massacre of village upon village of civilians just like the nazis during their advance into russia.to compare our boys to those people is just insulting. I think you need to get your facts straight.
blair is a war criminal simple as stop like i said direct your angersomewhere more appropriate. You sound less patriotic than billy bragg mate.your entitled to have your say but il support our boys till the end out there and think you just have an almighty chip on your shoulder bout iraq and afghan.swallow your pride, wear a poppy and remember those millions that died in past wars top give you the freedom to say what you like.
don't ever call me a plastic patriot mate, you've no idea.

I think one of the main reasons not many people are wearing them is because of the lack of places selling them. I havent seen any major super markets or newsagents selling them this year. The only place i could find in my area selling poppys was my local muslim owned corner shop.
I think you're right, I got mine at my Local Vets, havent seen any anywhere else.

must be your area mate?
the 2 schools that my kids go to have theres poppy boxes and theres a march on the 14th...i thought there were marches in EVERY area.
maybe theyre just not publicised.
i wouldnt have known bout the one round here if kid wasnt in the army cadets.
Nuneaton always has a March every year, its a wonderful proud moving sight. They march down Coton Road and into Riversley Park. Its just wonderful, they play the Last Solute from the Museum window, so very moving.
As always I shall make the journey and go and pay my respects to all the Lads and Lassses, who gave their all for our freedom.
