Blatantly obvious to any who visit this site.

The volume of views, replies and three threads remaining open on the same subject, “Celtic” and “Scots/Irish Catholics” is simply sectarian.

And the EDL welcomes all to its ranks??????????????
Pat has got a point, I called myself Celtic lady due to tracing my family back to Irish celts, and I'm 3rd generation Irish. This is the way I see it: During the plantations the British took Irish homes and lands and treated catholics as second class citizens killing people who didn't covert to prodistant values (rings a few bells this doesn't it?) the rise of hatred towards the British started at this point and carries through to today.

I do believe that some people use this as a reason to keep up the hatred and feel in some quarters that the British took their land by force and are still unlawfully their to this day. There has been atrocities on both sides, but sides they are and people will feel stronger links with one side or the other. Its a disgrace what celtic supporters are doing, but please don't elinate other people because of this, like Pat said one look at some of these posts and it could put people off.
Oh dear.

I would suggest stopping reading Irish Republican versions of Irish history and learn some PROPER history before spouting ignorant, base and pathetic crap regarding our country.
