I genuinely feel ashamed of these fellow Celtic supporters but to attack the entire club is just typical of a few bigoted Rangers fans. Stick to attacking Islam thats the real danger. |

I'm not Rangers, that display at Celtic is an attack on any decent British patriot, just as much as the Luton or Barking jihadis. They wonder why they're attacked when they come to England then. Going to the time and trouble of setting that up, added to the fact that no-one in the ground intervened, it's hardly gonna do wonders for people's perceptions of Celtic fans |

So why attack the entire Rangers fanbase for the actions of a couple dozen dickheads in Manchester a couple of years back? Besides, you can't compare what they did to the actions of those Celtic fans yesterday and in the past... to put it another way, by disrespecting the poppy and openly abusing our soldiers, they're also disrespecting those who made the ultimate sacrifice so they could have the right to spew the bile they've come out with. |

Where is your concept of reality to equate the actions of stupid Celtic football fans with the behaviour of Islamic Fascists. Seriously this so called debate will alienate a significant proportion of the UK population from the EDL position. |

Those Celtic fans, in my eyes, attacked British servicemen yesterday, not just living British servicemen and women, but all the brave men and women who have given their lives in the service of this country EDIT* What's the difference between them and the Jihadis at Barking and Luton? |

I am not asking you to do anything. I am just giving my opinion and am comparing the group who performed the synchronised outrage at Celtic yesterday, with the (lesser) number of Jihadis who insulted the troops in Luton and in Barking. |

You asked a question and I answered. Any continuance of this thread is definitely not productive and with questionable logic. There might be a couple of these arsehole supporters reading this and like the UAF looking for comment to distort, “you see the EDL don’t even like Catholics”. A sweeping statement I know but you get my point. |

Pat1....I said earlier Catholics can be just as patriotic as anyone, look at the lefties a healthy number of them are Protestants.......lets make it clear.....ITS NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE CATHOLIC He was comparing them to the "peaceful muslims" (supposedly the majority) who are silent about terrorism, beheadings, grooimng of white girls etc etc ...WHERE WAS THE OUTRAGE AT PARKHEAD??? I would think if the feeling against them was so repugnant...the crowd would have turned on them. I'm not anti - Irish either as my Granma was a Kelly from Eire. |

Loving you mate We are the People To imply that the 'majority' of Celtic fans are pure minded and do not sympathise with this sort of behaviour is at best naive in the extreme. Anyone who has been to Celtic Park, watched a Celtic match, looked at a Celtic forum will know that 99% of their fans agree wholeheartedly with this anti-British sentiment. What makes it worse is they justify to themselves the murder of thousands of innocent people by the IRA as some sort of freedom fighting exercise. Celtic are a shameful club with a history of vile sectarianism overshadowing that of Rangers. |

Every club in Britain lost players at the somme & in the 2nd world war , Celtic are a disgrace not just these idiots of fans but the club in general over the last few years they seem to be putting their hatred of Britain into overdrive , how Celtic supporters currently serving in war zones feel about things like this god only knows , there is a celtic fan in the paper today (Daily Record) said he had to leave the ground after just 15 mins on saturday because of the abuse he was taking !! he was wearing a poppy for family members ! whats the world coming to ? |

@ Birmingham Loyal. One C*ltic fan had to leave Park head because of the abuse he got for wearing a poppy. And he wasn't sitting near Green Brigade. Anyway C*ltic FC shift normal fans so these parasites can sit here for 'singing zones' . And in an interview Neil Lennon praised the Green Bridage for creating atmosphere! Can't say that. Pat is calling Secrtarianism. I've saw plenty of vids of Whole sections of C*LTIC fans singing IRA songs. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN THESE REPUBLICANS ABUSING OUR TROOPS THAN ISLAMISTS IN LUTON. |

"Shame of Celtic after fans stage a 'bloodstained' protest against wearing Remembrance Day poppies" "Celtic have apologised and launched an investigation after supporters at their Parkhead ground unfurled a huge banner describing the remembrance poppy as ‘bloodstained’. The Glasgow club have agreed to wear poppies on their shirts at St Mirren on Remembrance Sunday, which has caused fury among a section of the club’s fans. During the 9-0 thrashing against Aberdeen on Saturday, supporters held a banner split into seven parts and covering a large section of supporters, which declared ‘no bloodstained poppies on our hoops’ and ‘your deeds would shame all the devils in Hell’." http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1327697/Celtic-shame-fans-stage-bloodstained-protest-wearing-poppies.html# |

Sectairian Song ?, YES M8 ! If you work for the media or are part of the uneducated hatred of everything/one that is against Rangers Football Club that is, The song was a Glasgow gang song sang by Billy Fullertons Billy Boys gang of the 1930s , they where certainly involved in sectairian fighting with the catholic gangs in Glasgow of the time namely The Normon Konks (their fiercest rival of the tme) but the tag fenian has been wrongly used as an excuse to blame people for anti catholic violence in Glasgow, Fenian doesnt mean RC it means an active Irish Warrior or to many a supporter of Irish Republicanism . 95% (or even higher) have not got a problem with an Ordinary RC who lives a normal life and dosn't voice his/her support for Violent Irish Republicanism , but the stark truth is that the overwhelming mass majority of Celtic fans do support Violent Republicanism , so to me & many they "live by the sword - so they should die by the sword" , up to our knees in fenian blood !! in their case "that will do for me" . Sectairian ? in this case id certainly say its Political . |

Celtic fans on the whole are a real nasty bunch of deluded hate filled bigots. The support anything ant-British. During the Falklands war, they supported argentina, the are pr-Palestine and hate jews. Most are socialist worker party type commie supporting Antifa mob. I remember years ago when two British squaddies were murdered by a screaming mob of IRa, then beaten, stripped and shot. There was graffitti all over Glasgow boasting SAS...... stripped and shot...haha. These people are repugnant. I despise that club and all it stands for Celtic fans on the whole are a real nasty bunch of deluded hate filled bigots. The support anything ant-British. Pat has got a point, I called myself Celtic lady due to tracing my family back to Irish celts, and I'm 3rd generation Irish. This is the way I see it: During the plantations the British took Irish homes and lands and treated catholics as second class citizens killing people who didn't covert to prodistant values (rings a few bells this doesn't it?) the rise of hatred towards the British started at this point and carries through to today. I do believe that some people use this as a reason to keep up the hatred and feel in some quarters that the British took their land by force and are still unlawfully their to this day. There has been atrocities on both sides, but sides they are and people will feel stronger links with one side or the other. Its a disgrace what celtic supporters are doing, but please don't elinate other people because of this, like Pat said one look at some of these posts and it could put people off. |
