This law, though no doubt well intentioned, is undermining our ability to protect ourselves from our enemies. It is also making a mockery of criminal law in this country. Even the established political parties understand this - although the Conservative pledge on a review seems to have vanished into thin air....IMHO to be free of this madness alone is enough justification to pull out of the EU, which in any case is sinking ship with a flawed economic model and ultimately doomed currency.... |

It is constantly used against us when we try to deport people for one, we need a British Citizens Charter, outlining and outlawing activities of turds like Anjem Can't Speak Arabic Dum Arse. If you can't commit to Queen and Country first then you're not welcome. |

Well said Andy. I think its disgusting that there's been no referendum on Europe. We all know what the outcome would be and were supposed to live in a democracy. |

Margaret Thatcher kept this country out of certain aspects of the EU, this being one. Tony Blair took us into the Human Rights Act in 2000, and whilst it was hailed by him at the time as a very forward thinking move to bring us in line with the rest of Europe, the more cynical may suspect it had more to do with the fact that his wife Cheries' law firm Matrix was in the business of defending immigrants from deportation, and adopting this Act would serve very nicely thank you, for that purpose.. |
