EDL THREATEN TO "CLOSE YOUR TOWNS" OVER XMAS BANS

A FAR-RIGHT group has vowed to “close down” any town that ditches British traditions and shows favouritism to Muslims.

The English Defence League said it has written to every council in the country threatening a mass invasion if they ban the word “Christmas”.

It includes using the term “winter festival” in case Christmas upsets Muslims.

EDL leader Stephen Lennon said “working class people” in the UK were “at boiling point” over what he says is the “Islamisation of Britain.”

His declaration comes after yesterday’s Daily Star poll found 98% of readers fear that Britain is becoming a Muslim state.

He said: “If the politicians aren’t going to stick up for us, we will make them, because we will cause so much fuss and so much noise they are going to have to listen.

“We will not back down or be beaten into submission. We don’t care if you call us racists. We are coming anyway. We are going to continue doing it until someone listens.”

The EDL was set up last year after Islamic extremists hijacked a homecoming parade for British troops in Luton, Beds.

On Sunday more than 250 EDL members joined US activist Rabbi Nachum Shifren at an anti-Palestine demo outside the Israeli Embassy in London.

John Cruddas, Labour MP for Dagenham and Rainham, said: “All parties must search for a definition of modern England to choke off what the EDL taps into.”

So this story is 3rd hand at the very least.

Notice, though, that even 98% of their readers agree with our thesis.

Is the term "autumn festival" used in case the ramadan-thing upsets Christians ?

I didn't think the Times article was that good at all.
It was an 'interview' in the sense that it was written by the journalist with selected quotes thrown in to back up the sway of the article.

A real interview would show what the journo said and what Tommy actually answered.

Anything else is a biased cop-out.

I'm surprised Tommy did it.

At least you don't have to pay online to read The Star.

That's quite supportive as it happens - It's easy to tell the journos who are sympathetic.

Here's another piece of courageous writing by Steve Hughes.

I disagree - it's no nonsense stuff. If I'd been the journalist I'd have left out the "my friends are black" line - but that doesn't matter. That was the voice of a pissed-off and long-ignored and big section of society. Some people will think it's heavy stuff, but if that's what it takes to wake people up then so be it.

The full interview should be pinned on here. Was it not on the blog site?
Oh - and it was a great move to warn about Christmas and to have written to local councils. THAT will get a lot of sympathy and support.

Well done, to whoever thought of it.

Thinking caps on for similar ideas.

well i think its every divisions job to hold protests in their local areas when the council switch the lights on if the council has put up winter festival banners rather than happy christmas.
some councils spend a small fortune of celebs or bands for the switching on of the lights. 50 edl with banners chanting would ruin the councils night and throw the budget throuygh the roof to police the event.
if they wont listen to reason then make them listen to their pockets. we will not give up our country without a fight

If any council calls Christmas "winterval" or "winter festival" to appease Muslims then it's right for that areas local divison to hold a protest. The thing is though alot of people would be moaning saying "ooh I can't get me shopping" but if they think abit of shopping matters more than that our culture and traditons are being torn to shreds to appease islamists then they really do need help.

I think we should have a day set and every division do something, 90% of council's are stuck up the mussie's arse's. If they don't listen 1st time keep returning

A Daily Star inquiry showed a lack of support in certain areas in Leeds, Bradford, Dewsbury and Derby, where many shopkeepers claimed never to have heard of them.

Derby? Derby?? I bought mine today from a garage and I'll be wearing mine through Derby constantly.

His story is going to play well with Bill O'Rielly on Fox if he ever gets to hear about it :)
Brian of London has been actively occupying a very small slice of hideously over-occupied Tel Aviv since early 2009.

Islam is a giant bungee cord tying it's adherents to the 7th century.
They can pull themselves almost to the twenty first century but eventually the cord tightens and flings them back.
