Well, just got home from a fantastic day in London with the EDL. On arrival at West Ken Station I noticed about 6 or7 photographers with loads of cameras and back packs on and one of them I recognised from this images of left wing press shown on this site. I was having a long hard look at all of them out of interest on how they work together when suddenly one of them notices me checking them out. He informs the others and I can tell you the look of fear on some of their faces! There’s me on my own and they were still bricking it I can tell you. Must have thought we were planning some type of attack on them? Anyway no sooner had they noticed me, they start taking photo of me? Keep posting their images boy as I can tell you, “they don’t like it up em” Anyway I made my way down the EDL meeting point and had a few drinks but I could not but notice how many females there were supporting the EDL Nice to see it though. After the demo I went with a bout 30 other EDL for along walk over to speakers’ corner. Now those of you who know your English History will know that this place is known throughout the world as a place of Free Speech. That is of course unless you are English, because we were stopped by the old bill from having our say. We were denied entry to Speakers Corner, we the English were not aloud to enjoy free speech in our own country. We could see about 7 or 8 muslim preachers in full Islamic dress, on the step ladders having there say? Once the Rabbi Shifren got on his step ladder to say a few words ( in the park out side Speakers Corner) we were surrounded by loads of muslims, they soon started shouting him down and I see one muslim give a Nazi salute at him and the old bill just stood there doing nothing. Anyway we all did our bit and supported him. A few muslims attempted to attack us but a few EDL boys soon sorted that out I can tell you! Then to add insult to injury the old bill kettled us in and escorted us a mile away to a tube station? Apparently we were being held on suspicion of causing public disorder? I say to all of the EDL who were at Speaker Corner, we must hold our heads up high as today we did our bit to uphold free speech in our country and take back a little bit of England. Goes to show, we won't be told to 'shut up and sit down'. We must confront them at every opportunity so they'll know we will not submit to their barbarism. |

This seems to happening a lot with the police and I think they are acting illegally a lot of the time. People need to record it on video and make complaints or sue them. The resuling compensation could actually become a great funding stream for the edl |

Well done lads you stood your ground to defend every freemans rite to freedom of speech which you would do even if you were out numbered. My question is having seen the polices behavour towards the EDL yesterday. Did they realise that you were about to be outnumbered? Were they acting in your best interest because they know of NO SURENDER? Dont forget they will have intellegence of the number of muslims and uaf in the area, when it was announced that the Rabbi was going to speakers corner islams phones would have started ringing bringing in more support against you |

Good post, glad you had an enjoyable day. Regarding OB, I honestly believe that if you managed to get one to open up, he/she would be really angry at the way they have to act. If they were given free reign I reckon all those islamics waving "Behead those who insult islam" placards would be paying a vist to A&E. |

I must say that I always take the opportunity to connect with the old bill on a one to one. Having done that yesterday I am sure most of them out of uniform would be with us. Speaking to one WPO she really started to open up to me, saying she agreed with lots of what we stand for and even taking the piss out of the West Midlands Police! Apparently there is not a lot of love between them and the Met. She said an EDL march is the highlight of their time in uniform! In my opinion we all need to attempt to talk to the uniform old bill on a one on one, put your point of view over to them, not by confrontation. Win their harts and minds as it soon gets around their canteen, I’m sure. |

Yeah, unless your in Leicester, then they arrest you for it. |
| THEY JOINED FOR MANY REASONS, TO MARCH, TO SAIL, TO FLY. THEY WENT WHERE THEY WERE POSTED, BUT NOBODY JOINS TO DIE. THEIR LEADERS TALK ON TV, WHAT ELSE COULD WE HAVE DONE? BUT THOSE LEADERS LOST NO DAUGHTERS, AND NONE HAS LOST A SON. SO HERE'S TO ALL OUR SOLDIERS WHEREVER THEY MAY BE...AND HERES TO ALL THEIR FAMILIES, I RAISE A GLASS TO THEE...WEAR YOUR POPPY WITH PRIDE. | |

Yes the Met done a very good job on Sunday I found talking to them helped keep things on a even keel, as one said every one behaves and we have a nice day out. |

I think this is true of the average copper but not the ones in charge. They seem to be true PC types. At the pope's procession I asked one why they werent' arresting the muslims from MAC or at least taking their megaphone away. He said he would but can't and it's down to the boss who he pointed me to. I spoke to him and got a load of spiel about their rights and freedoms etc |
