To be truthful I was not expecting this verdict Lucknow: Stating "we will not surrender", the Sunni Waqf Board said Thursday that it would appeal in the Supreme Court against Thursday's verdict of the Allahabad High Court on the Ayodhya land dispute. "We will not surrender, we will appeal for declaration and possession of the entire land", where the Babri mosque stood in Ayodhya, Waqf Board lawyer Zafaryab Jilani told a news conference. He underlined that the judges had ruled that a third of the disputed land where the Babri mosque stood until it was razed by Hindu mobs in December 1992 should go to the Muslim community. He said the Sunni Waqf Board, one of the key litigants in the case, would not accept a third of the land but quickly added that it would not go against whatever the Supreme Court decides. "There is no need for public resentment, no reason for gloom," Jilani said, appealing for peace. "We hope peace and tranquillity will be maintained throughout the country." Jilani said the judges had accepted that the Babri mosque did exist but that it was built against the tenets of Islam. http://sify.com/news/we-will-appeal-won-t-surrender-sunni-lawyer-news-national-kj4sXodchhd.html A three-judge bench of the Allahabad High Court on Thursday ruled that the disputed land in Ayodhya where a makeshift temple was built after razing the Babri mosque in 1992 was Lord Ram's birthplace. However, it ruled that the land be split among three contesting parties equally. Sudhir Agarwal and D V Sharma delivered a split verdict in 60-year old Ayodhya title suit filed by the Sunni Central Waqf Board. The majority of the bench ruled that the disputed land in Ayodhya was a joint property, held by all the three claimants namely Hindu Mahasabha, Nirmohi Akhara and Sunni Central Waqf Board. The majority also ruled that the central dome of the disputed structure, where idols of Lord Ram are presently kept in the makeshift temple, be allotted to Hindus. Justice Khan ruled that the mosque was built by Babar, not by demolishing a temple, but on the ruins of a temple. Justices S U Khan, Justice Sharma categorically rejected the claim of Sunni Central Waqf Board and has ruled that the 'disputed site is the birth place of Lord Rama'. http://www.hindustantimes.com/Disputed-land-in-Ayodhya-Ram-s-birthplace-but-split-it-High-Court/H1-Article3-606452.aspx |

“One day, millions of men will leave the Southern Hemisphere to go to the Northern Hemisphere. And they will not go there as friends. Because they will go there to conquer it. And they will conquer it with their sons. The wombs of our women will give us victory.” – Houari (Mohamed) Boumedienne, President of Algeria, 1965 – 1978, in a 1974 speech at the UN

Looking forward to the commonwealth games ![]() This story just shows the ingorance and intolerant nature if Islam. Building a mosque on an area believed to be the birthplace if te Hindu god is disrespect at it's highest. The'll be building a mosque on ground zero next O^) |

A lot of the countries in the world have too much respect for radical islam when radical islam has not one ounce of repsect for them, the sooner they realise this the sooner we can get on with our own existence, alongside other ethnic communities here in Britain, who will and have always intergrated with the British people. The Muslims will go for broke. They know that their sh1t will not be tolerated in India ...so are being very careful...will be by proxy terrorists and claim no knowledge. They LOST and can not nor will not accept it. The Commonwealth games is an ideal target, I hope nothing happens..but you never know. I do know we were kind enough to allow the Pakistan cricket team to play their home matches on British Soil...what a mistake. Let them sort their own mess out first. Incidentally, the area is a Christian majority one, with both Hindus and Muslims as minorities. They should be happy they got a third. They want Jerusalem..what next..St Pauls ? The Golden temple ? Blackpool ? Punjab ? Kashmir ? Bradford ?......Anyway you got my point. When does it stop....Will it ever ? |
