I went into Manchester on leave today. I was followed from, "my point of view" pub to pub by three TAU vans and several others of our beloved GMP/ CP OB "it seemed" and it somewhat reminded me of follow the leader. I was not in my usual shirt and tie of a week day as I was not at work and was dressed as I do when I am off in a casual style of jeans, white trainers and a Black coat. I had no intention of causing any trouble and my only damage of any kind was to the beer stocks of Manchester on my last day off. I found out as I walked past the GMEX that the Labour Criminals were having their rally and inducting the "New Marx". I was somewhat in discomfort at the spotlight just for walking round my nearest city in my favourite clothes and the obvious attention of the dibble increased this even though I had done nothing wrong. I was further annoyed that on my way back to Piccadilly I was treated in a disrespectful and ignorant fashion by several studends and specials(Sorry to The Specials -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZ2oXzrnti4&ob=av2e - No offence The Specials - Cracking Band). I gave as much as I got in the verbal and attitude stakes and there is more than one way to skin a cat. I think the expression is to "Stand your ground as much in everyday life as at any demo". Obviously in a lawful and reasonable manner. Watch your backs and never surrender! Ns. |
