just read the post on the home page about Leicster and its as usual spot on. BUT as i know and most of you do were not against the whole muslim comunity, and i know ive only been to one demo, but dont ya think that chanting who the fcuk is alah is gona make people think were against all muslims , im not . My little girls mate is from Turkey and is muslim , no problem there at all top kid , ive got a muslim mate in London comes over here all the time to see us , He knows my stance on the EDL and has no problems with what we stand for , he was hurt in the London bomings.

so to keep it short lets give Muslim terrorists of our streets , or something else that really directs what were about a go. I dont know its just a fukcin suggestion.

But "Allah" told Muhammed he could marry a little girl, that is paedophilia last time I checked.

I do understand your point though, but the EDL can't control what some of our supporters chant. It does make us look bad that they chant it.

Christians follow Christ. What mad sh1t did Christ encourage people to do?

He stopped a prostitute from being stoned to death. He encouraged people to turn the other cheek and give a stranger the shirt off your back.
But what violence did he EVER incite? Who did he threaten to kill? His ministry was actually against the teachings of the old testement, it was about forgiveness no punishment. Islam goes back to the old testement and calls for death and destruction, it is the opposite of Jesus' teachings.

The church(es) do keep going back to the OT, it is the OT that gives the fear of pain and retribution. In so many ways the "christian" church utterly fails to follow christ but then it would never raise armies and rule half the world if it did follow his teachings would it.

The OT was writtin before Christianity existed.

So therefore it is not the word of Christ and Christianity.

I don't agree with the Allah is a pedo chants because Pakistani Christians use the word "Allah" (I think).

The courts in Malaysia have ruled that christians CANNOT use the word "Allah" to refer to their god.

Malaysia is supposedly a secular country. If that's what happens there, what will happen in islamic states?

Furthermore Allah did not marry Aisha, Mohammed did. So the chant should be "mohammed was a paedo".
Every muslim knows of mohammeds child bride, every muslim believes that mohammed was the perfect man.
I very much doubt you'll find any muslims who would condemn mohammed for having sex with a 9 year old........

You can insult people though. The MAC website called the Pope "evil" and said that his "time was coming". Yet the special police force who "act" when an ofensive URL is passed to them did nothing and said that the website was fine...........

This debate has been had before. My view hasn't changed in the meantime.
I don't do the chant in question at arranged demos, but only because I don't like to swear where there are kids around. That's just my personal preference.
I don't think we should do it at a flash demo because, as you rightly point out, we are not against all muslims.
An organised demo is a whole different animal.
The muslims know that we're going to be there and since they like to insist on their rights being respected, here's one right I have no problem granting them.
I accept that every muslim has an absolute and inalienable right to stay the fcuk away from our demos.
Those that don't are to be viewed as hostile, so while I won't be loudly enquiring who the fcuk allah is, for the reason explained above, I am intensely relaxed about others doing it.

You seem to confuse racial origin with ideology. Not all Irish support the IRA, well of course not. But all IRA sympathisers DO support the IRA.
Not all followers of an ideology are followers of an ideology...... that appears to be what you are saying.

All muslims follow Islam. Islam has no room in it for you unless you are a muslim. You suggest there are "muslim lites", were there also "Nazi lites"?
I'd agree that there are lots of muslims who do not really pay much attention to their religion, just like a great many "christians" only celebrate Easter with chocolate and Christmas with presents and parties. But then these people are not really muslims or christians.

40% of muslims in a dispatches poll want sharia law in the UK. That's a sh1t load of people. A large number felt 7/7 was justified. Most want their kids educated in a muslim only school.

So where are these moderates that just want to get along and to be part of the UK as a whole rather than a seperate state within a state?
How many will oppose sharia? How many would oppose the UK becoming an Islamic state?

you dont get it do ya ?
its about us the EDL . Read the home page .

Our fight is against Islamists and those who support an Islamist agenda and Leicester has had its fair share of such problems, these "type" of Muslims must be challenged at all costs. Its time for the Muslim community to take a stand against an ideology of supremacy, hate, misogyny and intolerance, once that cancer has been removed (with their help) we can move on and start living together in harmony. Our demonstrations are not against the whole Muslim community, they never have been and they never will be, regardless of whatever "allegation" asserts otherwise.

I've read the comments with great interest and the trouble I have is ''I don't do complicated'' especially when it comes to the finer points of what is or what isn't within the law regarding insults, incitement etc..

However, rather than ''Who the fcuk is allah'' (and the like), I assume there'd be no unlawful aspects to chants that are a little more specific and/of truthful such as:

"Expose the koran, it preaches hate"

"Ban the burkha"

"No sharia in UK"

"mohamed was a paedo"

"Ban halal" etc., etc..

Simple phrases that are direct and to the point. I'm sure there's many more that can be used with each one not only addressing a major concern to the EDL movement or revealing the truth to people but will also stick in peoples' memories?

I have been thinking about this quite a bit

Maybe if each demo had a theme, and an official chant that fits in.

Think about it
“One day, millions of men will leave the Southern Hemisphere to go to the Northern Hemisphere. And they will not go there as friends. Because they will go there to conquer it. And they will conquer it with their sons. The wombs of our women will give us victory.”

Islam is a supremacist religion. It is incumbent upon every muslim. Islam is not tolerant, NO muslims tolerate homosexuals for example.
I think what you are saying is that we don't have anything against muslims who do not follow the koran or believe in sharia law or who don't think that Islam is the most superior way of life.

Just who exactly are these muslims that don't follow any aspects of Islam that are going to be offended?

I'd agree with you that chants like "who the fcuk is allah" should be stamped out, but not because of muslim sensibilities but purely because the people whose support we need to garner would see that and think we were a bunch of ill educated muppets not worthy of support. Improving our public image is something worthwhile. Pandering to a non existant muslim who doesn't follow a supremacist, racist, mysogynist, hate filled religion is not.

A muslim follows islam, believes mohammed was a prophet of God and was the "perfect man". A muslim believes that God handed down sharia law to mohammed and that God's law is the only law. I am pretty sure that you're not a muslim if you don't believe that. What sort of muslim doesn't want to live under Gods law in an islamic state? What muslim doesn't want an islamic caliphate? Do you know ANY that would stand up ina mosque and say that they were against those things? Because those are the ones you're concerned about and frankly I don't think that they exist.

Probobley not many , i know that , but what im saying is for the EDL to prove that were not anti muslim and only anti extremist it would be better to only have chants at demos about extremists not the religion as a whole .

We are not anti "muslim". I have no gripe with the vast majority of individual muslims, but I am probably not going to agree with them on the vast majority of their ideologies.
We are against the ideology not the people. There is nothing to prove. You can think, and say, that you find the Church or Bible to be a crock of sh1t. That DOES NOT make you anti christian does it? Disagreeing with the bible doesn't make you a hater of christian people. Why should islam be any different?

We should stay above the level of the oppostion:

That's what makes us DIFFERENT.

That's what makes us DECENT PROTESTERS.

That's what makes us BETTER THAN THEM.

That's what gets us POSITIVE press.

That's what will SWELL OUR RANKS.

Darren it IS the religion that is the problem. Not the individual muslims but the ideology that is forced on them from the day of their birth, a system of beliefs that they are not allowed to question and that they then unquestioningly force on their kids.
Islam is the problem, islam is the religion, islam is the ideology. Therefore it is islam that we have issue with.

As I said before if I was to argue against Nazism it wouldn't make me racist or a German hater. If I was to argue against the Catholic church it wouldn't make me a hater of christians. By the same token arguing against Islam doesn't make me racist or anti muslim. I have very serious concerns about the ideology, the religion. Not the individual people.
There is NO reason that I should not loudly criticise Islam in any terms I see fit. If individual muslims get upset then they need to remember where they are. A free country where we are free to discuss ideologies in disparaging terms. If I am wrong and islam is love and peace then surely they can demonstrate that by showing me love and peace....... of course muslims don't turn the other cheek do they, oh no question Islam and it's all stoning and beheading whilst they claim to be love and fluffiness.
