I wouldnt be surprised if it comes to a point where we get arrested just by 'looking' at them!..quite a few people have made youtube videos burning the Koran. One guy in Queensland had a Bible and the Koran, ripped pages out of both and rolled huge joints out of them, smoking away... perhaps not a smart move, perhaps some would say 'good on him' ... i get so angry that Muslims get intimidated at the most slightest things & show evil... just wish our government would wake up and stop 'kneeling' to the Muslims... |

In theory, possibly, these brave lads could get seven years (according to the Daily Mail and others)!! If that were ever to happen, it MUST become THE EDL issue - no doubt about it. I don't know the legality side of it, but I can't see it happening - primarily because of the reaction from the EDL and other patriots. For once, the authorities would be scared of OUR reaction instead of the reactions of Muslims. |

All things considered, if these guys are found guilty of any offence just think of the precedent it will set - the door could be wide open to all sorts of actions from any direction. |

it's a no brainer. There is no case here. They can dress it up and call it whatever they want but the blokes just burned a book. If they burned a book while standing up and screaming that everyone should go out and bash a muslim then the story would be different. If they burned a book and implied by speach that everyone should go out and firebomb a mosque/church/synagogue, then it would be different. But, fact remains, the blokes burned a book and made personal comments based on personal opinion. If I burned an Enid Blyton book and said ''This is how we deal with pixies here in Pompey, this is for all the humans in the real world, fcuk you pixies and goblin sympathisers'' this would never make the paapers. But, cos it's religion, it's front page news. At the end of the day, my slamming of pixies is as legitimate as these lads' slamming of allah/god. Neither has any more evidence of existing than the other. This case will be dropped like the sack of sh1te it is. |

I cant believe this will go to court. just more OB intimidation. If it did and the lads get off (as they should) then we can all go around burning the Koran whenever we wish:-) Dont think big brother wants that scenario. Plus of course a case would enable the evidence of muslims burning flags and not being arrested to be used and I'm sure the dont that publicidsed have gone to great lengths to ensure that the media did not publish those pictures from Grosvenor square. |

There is absolutely no way the Gateshead six will be prosecuted. There is no case to answer and they may have a case to pursue themselves with respect to their own human rights. |
