Hello FRANKIE4FINGERS

It is ironic that in Saudi Arabia you have many child brides who are married to very old men; and this applies to 8 and 9 year old girls.

Also, you have MISYAR MARRIAGE (glorified prostitution) whereby a Muslim can marry a female (but not deemed a proper marriage) and then they can get divorced the same day.

Not to mention that you can have 4 wives in Saudi Arabia.

I guess they ignore the sin of Mohammed who had at least 9 wives and many concubines and who married a child............

Obviously Saudi Arabia is very backwards with how they treat women... however it is not our interest to change their values... it is their country... MTV is trash and is dumbing down American Youth. I refuse to watch it for the most part... However, the documentary sounds like a good thing...

Hello FRANKIE4FINGERS.

Yes, I agree that one is more than enough; but, it amazes me that if a British national had more than one wife then we would be charged with bigamy but they allow Muslims to have many wives and then pay them benefits if they are not working.

In a recent programme a lady in saudi felt that all western women are under pressure to conform ie wear high heels ,short skirts etc etc etc.now if I suggested to my good lady what to wear I would have a fatwah performed on me.and if you watch the latest CLICK bbc tech prog you will see how censorship is use in Dubai etc to curtail freedom.MTV its lost its appeal years ago.

That was last weeks 'click'. Very interesting episode. It was in Dubai iirc.

They'll probably ban MTV cos let's face it, some pop video's are almost pornographic. Not that there is anything wrong with that mind you. B-)

Just makes me grateful that I live in a country that pretty much let's me watch what the f**k I like when I like.

Bunch of backward idiots! Such a shame we need the Saudi's because they buy a lot of stuff from us and we are dependent on their oil. :-/

The influence they wield over the British government through their financial clout I find very disturbing.

SCOTT_LEE said the above quote; yes, indeed!

It is very disturbing because the Saudi's are causing mayhem and many Islamists have been trained in this nation and of course they are spending vast sums via so-called education centres and sponsoring radical mosques in many nations.
