My brother got him and myself the new England home strip and tried to get some printwork on the back (as in similar stuff used for players surnames)

"NO SURRENDER" and was refused by JD Sports and Soccerdirect

When tried arguing the point, he lost it (which is understandable) and was threatened with police action (well they called them lol)

I am now in the procedings of talking to one of them via there customer care dept, where they have said "due to the minority wanting obscene or offensive slogans", the majority are being affected by this stance

How on earth is "NO SURRENDER" an obscenity or offensive in any way??

What do you think people??

PS - I have a photo in my profile of the finished result

He had to go to a printers who gladly welcomed the business, it isnt the best, but under the circumstances, if a load of us got this printed on the back of our shirts (like a lot of our mates are going to do for the world cup), it will send a messege to the greedy sports shops, that we can get what we want elsewhere.

To me its a point of principle, i will NOT let this lie untill i get what i feel is a satisfactory response ;)

Shocking mate, well if we all do it, it might get a response

If you are thinking of getting your shirt printed do the following:

Get your shirt - DO NOT BUY IT / PURCHASE IT!!!!
Take it to the counter, ask for the writing
They'll either accept or refuse - therefore argue the toss and LEAVE or be lucky and get it done and pay for it ;)

I think i will be doing this every time i am in town, untill they get so p*ssed off with me, they agree to do it lol :)
