APL (Association of Pakistani Lawyers), a team of Pakistani origin Solicitors, Barristers, and Judges in UK has taken a serious note of 28 May Guardian report titled, “English Defence League: Inside the violent world of Britain’s new far right” which reveals English Defence League’s plans to hit racially sensitive areas in an attempt to provoke disorder over summer and have urged the Prime Minister David Cameron to take action to prevent these protests turning into violent riots. APL has demanded a ban on this organization, as it poses a threat to public order and has sinister aims. http://www.pakpoint.com/uk-lawyers-demands-%E2%80%98ban%E2%80%99-on-english-defence-league/14762/ David Cameron can help prevent violent protest by banning the UAF. |

Well that's f**king rich coming from them!
Last time I checked this was a 'free' country and there shouldn't be any no-go areas. We are going to these areas not to cause trouble but to get our point across which we have been doing up and down the country! If the local inhabitants kick off over our presence then it is they who are the problem and not us. Sadly, the authorities will probably take the path of least resistance, just as they have been doing for a couple of decades now which is exactly why we are in this f**king mess! f**k the Guardian and Daily Mail I would rather use my hands than wipe my arse on both of them. As for these Pakistani Liars I mean Lawyers, they can go f**k themselves too. |

maybe we should protest to ban such a racist group, i mean i think it disgusting that non-pakistani lawyers are forbidden to join the APL, such groups cause heart ache and causes a divide in the lawyer communties!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Great comment that tey should practice what they preach, because as we all know they are top class at preaching, whingeing and demading. They seem to have a little trouble with the tolerance and respect thing though! |

It goes to show they are getting real scared. And i persume they are talking about Bradford, the most affected area of islamification in the north of England. We want our country back, and now they want to ban us, pathetic... |

Well, should we be worried? Would a Con-Dom alliance government consider banning us and denying us our right to free speech and peaceful demonstration? Abso-fcuking-lutely! What would we do about it? Go underground and give them what they want (an excuse to come down on us like a tone of bricks)? Or, defend our legal rights through the judiciary? Who'd represent us? food for thought. We should be prepared for this though. It's inevitable in the future, we should do the groundwork just now so when it does happen we have a legal firm to jump on it immediately. |

If the Association of Pakistani Lawyers are afraid of the EDL there's a simple option... f**k off back to Pakistan where you won't be bothered by us. |

Pakistani lawyers and judges! The profession that supports fairness and gives a fair hearing to both sides and practices innocence until proven guilty by a jury of their peers? Neck, brass and b@stards springs to mind. |

Hi Cornish Thanks for posting this. I was unaware of this action. The first thing that struck me when going to the link was that its main headline was of the 85 poor souls that lost their lives in Pakistan during a terror attack becuase they were Muslims of a different sect. Maybe those behind this website and the APL or whatever they are called might consider this and then put themselves in our shoes as to our concerns. As to the article about the EDL then comparing the EDL to the likes of Al-Muhajiroun is ridiculous and outrageous. The author says that Al-Muhajiroun was rightly banned. If he/she truly believes this then the EDL is looking to squeeze the likes of Choudary and stop him from making his poisonous message through right of protest. Hence where is the argument. In the article the author seems more worried about a Muslim youth violent reaction than anything the EDL will do i.e. the presence is enough. What this would suggest is that the author is acknowledging that there is a far greater problem within the larger Muslim community and not just down to Choudary & Co. Regards |
