English Values; What are they?

I just read the notice above which says:

'The EDL will not ever surrender our English values to Militant Islam and Sharia Law.'

I completely agree, but if someone asked you what English values are, what would you tell them? And how would you answer the question 'why are they worth defending?'

Cheers

Hey Kohima welcome to the forum, not to be rude but as its your first post mabye you could start, by telling us what your english values are and why you think they are worth defending. Since you agree ;)

I think there are one or two threads along these lines already. I will try locate them for you :)

Also posting questions and logging right after doesnt look promising ^o)

Thanks mate, yeah i am new the the forum, in fact you won my support yesterday in Newcastle. The problem is, i can recognise english values, but i couldnt put them into words. I guess the one word is freedom. Freedom of religion, freedom of speach and the love of the country, its history and heritage. But im sure there are more.

My bad kohima I thought you had logged off after asking your question, it does happen sometimes on this site usually by anti-edl people.

My apologies.

As for your original question I would say that english values differ for most people but the main value for me also would be freedom of speech.

Im still trying to locate the other threads btw..

Sense of humour - The ability to take the piss out of anything, even ourselves for a laugh. This has been stripped away, because of PC.

Respect - the ability to allow others integrate into our society, regardless of creed, race and sexuality. This has been stripped away because we had forced mass immigration, but that ended up dividing everyone, and now you find areas which are no-go's for whites. Which is ridiculous, we're the ones who built this nation for them to come too. We're seeing a divide in the races and culture, because of mass-immigration. The EDL will fight to preserve this value, because we respect people for the creed, sex and race. Without having to go to the extreme and let everyone in.

Patriotism - I personally believe everyone should be proud of their heritage, religion, race and sexuality. Or anything in fact, we should all be proud to be who we are. Unfortunately, we're no longer proud to be English, white or anything. If we announce we're proud to be White Britons, we're apparently nazi's. Yet, if a black man was to say he's proud to be a black Briton, nothing's done. We should all be proud of our race, and heritage, etc and etc.

There's more, but I want others to add theres.
