A welcome and a hello to people who are viewing but not posting.

Nobody is forcing people to post, but it would be appreciated if you could at least just post a hello and where you are from.
You don`t need real names - no personal stuff required. ;)

Enjoy the forum people.

Make it mandatory for people to introduce themselves and make several posts before they are allowed on the forum proper.

Delete all the zero's as they are probably just lurkers keeping an eye on us who usually write bulls**t on other forums about us.

It has been looked into - but there are many `originals` on here who do not post.

The validating thing was introduced to get welcomes - some do - but some slip the net.

That would be a good idea. Maybe something like you must introduce yourself before you are validated?

Hello Reynar

I hear what you're saying however there is no way that this can work in practise. We just have to take it as a given that people that are hostile to the EDL are listening in however there will also be quite a few people that just like to read threads and not post themselves.

All the best.

Evenin' all, have been lurking a while, sorry I've been a bit quiet

The EDL have my support 100%, since I first heard about you on Newsnight, and found out what you were all about (ie anti-racist, but pro English way of life), it's made me feel so f**king proud to be English again. It pains me to say it but I was starting to think we'd lost our will to fight and they'd finally beaten us. I didn't do f**k all either though, other than complain and get angry about it

I'll always feel massive pride in being English (and wouldn't give it up for anything!!), but for years we've been walked all over, had demographic experiments played on us and been denied our own identity. And we had no choice but to let it happen because we had no way of fighting back, because the left were too strong and could shut us up. But not now they f**king can't! E-E-EDL!

Keep up the good work people, the cause is right and you're doing England proud

No Surrender

Eh up there.

I got a few posts but not a very prolific poster coz my 'a' letter button on my commy is buggered (I paste every 'a')...& I cant really be arsed pasting every few words. I'm dreading writing this!...anyways.

I am English, living in Ireland.

I was born & bred in Lancashire town which no-one has ever heard of. Which (IMHO) has more 'integration' problems than all the big places we hear about. The British Legion is now a mosque, barely any pubs remain, no nightclubs. (the last one was shut down & is now a Pakistanis house.) & They basically own the town.

I've grown up knowing people who been affected by most kinds of 'stealth' jihad, & have known many Pakistanis, both good & bad uns. Spent 7 months in a couple of Muzzie countries, and to be honest I found your average 'abdul' to be sound.

I was told by an old pakistani mate about 10-15 year ago how Islam will conquer Europe...Now I've been seeing it happen for donkeys, just the way he said it would, & someone needed to stand up...along came the EDL.

I been following yous blokes & lasses since the back end of last summer, and hope to get over to a march sometime when you are up in Lancashire. I reckon you'd get a LOT of support. Unfortunatley tho you'd get a lot of angry muzzies too!

Mr. Leon & Mr. Snowy are heroes in my eyes...They've made me believe we could win our country back, and got me thinking maybe it's time to come home!

Sorry for rambling.

I encorage all new users to post.
If the Goverment had listened to the British and white working class concern about Islam in British and White working class communities than maybe the EDL would not of formed. All we want is a voice to express our opinions without being regarded a "racist" or "islamaphobe" but then again the goverment depends on devision in poor communities.

Freedom is not free.

Hi there, I'm a big patriot living in the USA right now and have been following your cause for a while, I care greatly about whats happening in the UK, and intend to return at some point. I'm probably 95% on board with the direction of the group and close to being completely onboard, but I'm probably more moderate than most on here and do have several muslim friends and co-workers (I've had many an open debate with them, and this site helps a lot with my ammunition!). I have posted a few times in the distant past, asking about longer term EDL direction, goals as to specifically what we want as a result of this movement. Also I have asked if there is interest in developing out a more mainstream path forward, as I'm probably a good sounding board. That said, being on the outside looking in, I don't feel I should have much say in this, especially as I don't attend demos etc, so I don't post much. Also, things don't seem to be going too bad in your short existance, with increased membership and demo attendances, so who the hell am I to try and debate! I do think you are on the cusp of something bigger, but thats your decision and not my place to try and influence. Anyway, lurker or not, I really enjoy reading the posts and keeping up with the EDL events and comical media and UAF reactions!!

Hi dunkie i too am an american, i know how you feel! sometimes i pass up certain subjects or topics on here for similar reasons that you stated ie.. being on the outside looking in etc..
The EDL needs the support and i know for a fact most of the members welcome support from abroad including us. their are several other yanks on this forum including at least one moderator that i know of .

Please feel free to comment, i have several muslim acquaintences and friends as well. yet i am vigorously opposed to the ideology of islam. some people on here are more so opposed to islam then i and then their are those that do not seem to oppose islamic theology at all.
and everything in between those perimeters

The users peterpedant, nemesis12345, homosapien, guypatriot and ignominius are highly knowledgable and articulate on islam (they are walking encyclopedias) have a good one regards

I can understand exactly what you are saying, 10 years ago I would have been like that, if someone had started talking to me about Muslims, I would of been like, uh? But when they increase in numbers (about 5% of our population) they start to push and shove it bit more and demand things.

We have over 100 Sharia courts in the UK and that continues to increase. A large percentage of our take away food is now halal, because it is easier just to have one supplier. Most of our supermarkets have halal sections and in some the deli counter has become halal, which means you can't have fresh pork, sausages, ham, bacon etc. We have no go areas in this country, and they are becoming more common.

We have towns that are just choc full of mosques, our government and politically correct left wing people pander to Muslims, we local public swimming pools that have Muslim only swimming sessions. Our political parties are putting more and more Muslim MPs into government, not chosen by the local party membership but forced on them from party leadership. WE have aggressive Islamic organisations infiltrating our local government and openly boasting that they now control some parts of local government. Some of our wounded troops who were back in a UK hospital recovering were attacked by Muslims (we no longer have military hospitals).

Muslims in the UK were interviewed about their thoughts are the 7/7 bombings. 15% thought that it was good and the people deserved to die, that was just the ones that would say it to the camera, I wonder how many were thinking it though.

Last time I was in the US (late 2007) I didn't see anything like this (maybe Detroit). We hear a lot of talk about moderate Muslims, but to be honest, you don't ever seem to hear them speaking out against aggressive Islam. The latest thing happening (world cup football/soccer) is almost upon us and the police are telling pubs to take down English flags in case they offend people. Could you imagine being told to take down the Stars & Stripes?

It's difficult being moderate when this is happening and it gets worse every year, 10 years down the line when you're at the stage that we're at today, you may think differently.

Already introduced myself on the 'validating' forum, but her goes again: I'm from High Wycombe, and i've been looking for an organisation similar to yours to become active in for a long time. However, they all seem to have underlying racist themes whereas this one genuinely appears not to. I attended the Aylesbury event, and look forward to many more:)
