"The reporting around this is terrible. There is a broad based campaign of faith, youth and community groups and trade unions against EDL racism that is organising a public rally on 26th April and a carnival against racism on May 1st. These events are to challenge the ideas of the EDL and will not be organising a physical confrontation. The carnival has a stage with rap artsists, bands, MCs&DJs plus speakers from across the local community. The events are endorsed by the Town Mayor, Bishop of Buckingham, the Rabbi of South Bucks Jewish community and the Local Mosque has also signalled its support. Unite Against Fascism (UAF) is helping to build this peaceful event mto give a positive focus of the day. We are campaigning to have Market Square allocated to the people of Aylesbury and the EDL policed away from the carnival. If the council leader denies us the Square it will be a shame but we have a back up venue and will hold our peaceful event there - away from the EDL."

It would be peaceful if the UAF turds didnt turn up, Jeeeeez.

Made me chuckle during the Dudley demo when the council were crying that the EDL had turned Dudley town centre into a ghost-town...it wasn't them allowiing the building of the soul-less Merry Hill Centre which destroyed Dudley then (and Brierley Hill) 'it was the EDL that done it'
