Facebook and the EDL do not go together in my opinion, you don't know who is who, there are viruses set up bt 'antis' and our facebook group is a nightmare with everyone in a constant state of paranoia with everyone thinking everyonr else is a troll. I'm not even a member of the EDL facebook group. Other peoples views may vary, but all I ever hear about with facebook EDL wise is dramas. |

I don't often promote software but i think some of you guys could save a lot of time using this while surfing and exploring links and certain forums. I run my e-mail and browser, or any other program used to download 'stuff' from the net, in a sandbox. It's an isolated virtual environment and allows controlled testing of untrusted programs and web surfing It deals with rogue software, spyware and malware that might destroy or compromise your system. Take a look and decide for yourself, its transparent to the system and easy to use. http://www.sandboxie.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandboxie Sandboxie runs your programs in an isolated space which prevents them from making permanent changes to other programs and data in your computer.

Yes, as Heathen posted. Use Sandboxie. I have been using it for years now, and it is hardcore s**t. Watch these Two video's to learn how to use it. It's pretty simple once you get used to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GueXMq-Vyi8&fmt=18 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2IbwhE-r8_k&fmt=18 Make sure you set it to automatically delete the Sandbox when you close your Web Browser, just like the guy in the video does. If you're blonde, there is a simpler program, that uses the same kind of technology, that will Sandbox your entire Windows System Drive/Partition. All you have to do to kill everything in the Sandbox, is reboot your PC, and everything will be back as it was (no more Virus if you accidentally downloaded one before you rebooted). It's called Returnil: http://www.returnilvirtualsystem.com/ (Scroll to the bottom for the Free Version) |
