It's all economics and these people will sell their granny to make a buck.

What it does show, however, that the muslim demographic is now big enough for these companies to invest and shift their customer base.
Anyone who says the Islamic demographic isn't growing drastically is a liar and this is the proof.
There not a liar there probibly in some disgusting way scared of being racist now. Im really sad our country undertook salvery because now the word racism is being brought into every situation and it seems to be working for the non whites favour dramaticly.

Back to Halal. I dont tink theres any Halal at all in my country and maybe some members from NI correct me if im wrong. Its not such a problem the whole muslim thing over here but i feel really sad for you mainlanders having to witness all these muslim traditions being slowly introduced (maybe more quickly) into your society. Think GOD theres an EDL.

on fact lets promote a buy British meat campaign !

Wont work, its not the origin of the food but the slaughter.

Quiet questions on christian sites like what is the prayer about when an animal is slaughtered by the halal method

Ask the animal rights guys about how humane the slaughter is and why the RSPCA

Enquire from the RSPCA why they back Halal

General public information about Halal, its slaughter and religious connotations. Its 'hidden' availability and which stores support its action.

Tesco are also refusing to recognise that the grocery shops the tobacconist shops and the garages with groceries are buying from Tesco and then paying no tax and no vat on those goods.

Take your camera with you when you go shopping e-mail the film to the tax office

Because I have complained I am now the target of much harassment in my local Tesco store

If any person lives near Edinburgh and feels like coming over to film this harassment I would be very grateful

Knuckles is right. the Muslim demographic must be such that its economically viable for them to do this. I think we're being lied to by the government about how many Muslims are actually in the country.

I saw an article on the back of someone else's paper on the train last week (looked like one of the broadsheets) which said that France was now catering to the 39% of the eating out population which was muslim with halal restaurants popping up all over the place. 39% is very different to the 6% the French Govt claim are in the country.

Also, I have been to Asda on a Sunday sometimes with my hubby for breakfast and one of the blokes there is Muslim. Whenever he's on there's never any bacon left no matter what time you go. What a coincidence...

A question for you all to ponder.....

As mentioned in earlier posts....buy from a British butcher..

how many of you have a british butcher on your high street???

You dont because the major supermarkets put them out of busines years ago.

We all did that by buying from supermarkets because they were cheaper than high street shops.

Grow up and get real folks we're stuffed!!!!

We stuffed ourselves.

It's not tolerance anyway, it's being called scared to speak out incase you get hit with the big racist stick.
thats what i dont get - thats a scare tactic by the PC government - why are folk going to let it happen with fear of speaking out? whos going to get that person if they do?

aye theres such a thing as racism and i hate it, but what is labeled racist (i.e. the DL's) is completely wrong nowadays and blew out of proportion - thanks to political correctness, but i never got where this fear came from if you done something "racist"/ non PC

am i the only one that thinks about it that way?

Guys protesting is a great idea...but whats even greater is if we can get a law passed to BAN HALAL in this country. That will put a stop to all these traitors who are selling out their conutry just to bend over and lick the asses of people who have hatred for them. We need more talks on getting a proper petition on downing street signed and get it to top 10,000 signatures then we'll be looking at some potential there. Once a law is passed, all these halall counters will disappear.

I agree that should be the ultimate goal.

Good luck with that one while the police/judicial system/MSM are happy to keep things like murdering a 14 year old girl, putting her body through a mincer then selling her as kebabs quiet in the media.

Not sure they are that bothered what the Muslims put in our food chain.

All the same, a petition is a good idea. I am sure that 10,000 sigs would be possible with support from here, animal rights?, plus others. It would certainly help to get it closer to the public conscience.

I guess you are talking about banning it due to the animal rights/slaughter issue? If so, you will also need to ban Kosher otherwise there would be double standards.

Personally it is less the animal rights thing and more stopping the creeping islamization thing that bothers me.

Why stop at Halal. Why not have a petition banning Islam? That should be the ultimate goal in my opinion. (I recognise this is not on message for the EDL)

I do all of my shopping online at Sainsburys.co.uk. You tell them what time you want it delivered (between 9PM and 10PM at night if you want), and they drop it off free of charge. Almost all meat has a 'Made in Britain' sticker on.

They were a few minutes late once, so they gave me a £10 voucher and said sorry.

To qualify for free delivery, you have to spend over £100. Otherwise, it's about £3.50 I think.

The staff at Tesco, when you phone them, are right arrogant f**ks! They were where I live anyway.

I've only shopped at Tesco a couple of times, not really keen on the store. I shop at Asda and it's only the other day that I saw the halal section. As I went round the store, I happened to be nosey at everyone elses shopping, not once in anyones trolley, did I see any halal, the section is really small, I can't see there being much call for it where I go, but I will still keep dropping the bacon and pork in the section whenever I'm there.

I went shopping today in Asda, I was so bloody clumsy, I dropped my pack of bacon onto the halal chicken fillets, hoping that no-one had seen me, I quickly tried to retrieve it but in my haste, I ended up putting my finger through the pack of chicken and ripped all the cellophane, I left the bacon where it was before I did any more damage......................well, until next week, then it's the pork chops turn :$
I do that as well, I'm Such a clutz. I blame the excess grease on the packaging, makes it very slippery :D
