The taxi picked them up in Oldham then travelled to Liverpool

How much must Oldham Taxis stink if the driver didn't notice that for 90 minutes he had a corpse in his car !!
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

To be honest, if he had been dead for a day - it would have been pretty difficult to move him once rigor mortis sets in. Its quite rapid once your heart stops - if ever someone passes away at home in bed, the first thing a doc will do is take the pillow from under their head. Otherwise, once you move them and rigor has set in - they will be lying flat with there head raised. Saying that, he must also have been well covered up - beyond me how nobody could tell he was brown bread.

Rigor mortis is when the muscles contract and basically - the joints on your body just stay in that position. It wears off after a while - usually about 3 days you start to see a change. If he was dead for a day - he would have been as stiff as a board - sat up!

OWWWWWW man i bet he was leaking from every orifice

Step 1: Initial decay
Initial decay occurs from 0 to 3 days after death. Although the body
appears fresh from the outside, many things are going on inside the body
to contribute to the process of decomposition. The bacteria that are
normally inside the intestines of a living person begin to feed on the
contents of the intestine and the intestine itself. Eventually these
bacteria break out into the body cavity and start to digest other
organs. Since the intestine is no longer intact, the body's digestive
enzymes, which were kept safely inside the intestine and stomach, leak
out and spread through the body helping to break down more organs and
tissues. At the same time, enzymes inside individual cells leak out and
digest the cell and its connections with other cells.

airport was named after john lennon but no-one calls it that.

Saw the story in the echo today.

Apparently it costs about 10k to repatriate a body using the 'hold' so it looks like they were tring to use sleazy jet to get him back to Berlin.

So the motive was financial.

They put in him in a wheelchair and put sunglasses on him and pretended he was asleep.

I think it was a good effort to be fair - summat to tell the grandkids. :D

You also have to tie up the chin as soon as poss. Tie it up to the top of the head for a while.
So that the mouth stays closed as the body starts to set.
I worked in a hospital once, you see. ... Funny things go on.
