I dont mind them, they have a job to do, the police in Bolton seemed pretty fine. Different police forces different attitude:
North Derbyshire Police= Sound as f**k South Yorkshire police= c**t division.
Might be wrong but if you have a CR you cant ever join the Police could be wrong though but i think thats the case nowadays, also if you've had more than 2 days off work in a year

.......... Quite frankly I dislike the Specials, anyone who wants to be a policeman for free, just wants to nick people and has a little Hitler character. As for the regular policeman, no I don't hate them, they're just doing their job. However the relationship between the public and the police force (or service as they've been known for some years) has become strained. Whereas police used to patrol the streets and look after the public and attempt to catch real criminals, they have now become politicised and target driven. Which means that they spend their time catching the mainly law abiding public for doing 31mph in a 30mph zone. The police don't like having to do this, they know it alienates them from the very people that they serve and look for co-operation, but unfortunately they have to achieve their targets. The whole system is fubar'd and needs sorting.

I understand Brighton's got a nasty heroin scene in the underground parts, but it doesn't take the whole Brighton unit to find them, surely? They have the CiD lot, and criminologists to find them.

B_B: Would banging up drug addicts help in getting them off the stuff? With the massive cold turkey, does being on the outside subject them to massive temptation to buy some more stuff instead of getting through it? My assumption (possibly wrong) is that being inside could, in theory, stop the supply and force them through a cold turkey period?
Yeah, good luck getting through it, lass.

Im sorry, ive got to disagree with you there, i do believe that the police are out there catching the real criminals, my ex fiancee (who i got my addiction with) would always get targeted because he is a criminal. yet, we could be doing nothing and we would still get pulled. like, he gimme a black eye and stitches when the throw a cup at my face lmao, buh the police came around and because i said it wasnt his fault, they wernt away, buh when id had enough and he tried to hit me again and i phoned the police within a hour, i had a 90quid train ticket to come back to bolton. so i disagree, because i literally owe my life to the police in margate, im damn sure i wouldnt be here today if it wasnt for them. so i do think theyre doing a good job and are catching real criminals.

You're a recovering addict? My uncle was a heroin addict, was also on the meow meow crap till 2 years ago. If you want advice, I can ask him for you?

Which are so pointless.... Nope, Specials are police officers that volunteer part time for free and go out with regular officers. They have the same uniform (slightly different shoulder badge) and the same powers. PCSO are plastic police officers that have less powers that a traffic warden, although a few constabularies do award them extra powers.

Yeah, good luck getting through it, lass. hun, i personally dont think that bangin up drug addicts would help them recover, because drugs are widely avaliable on the inside anyway. i used to live down south with my ex fiancee, and theres a few drug centres for help, and alot of people there are also on a methadone script, buh i think its down to yourself, you've got the want to stop. heroin is the only drug that is physicially addictive to, and going cold turkey is the worst thing anyone can do. you're more likely to relapse this way. i think that if rehab places where more avaliable than they are now, then maybe people would think about stopping more. i think that bangin them up with drug dealers, is a massive risk. heroin addicts will do anything for heroin (i wasnt 1 of these people, i was okay with my money and my fella's money) buh people would beg you for some gear. plus, cold turkey can literally takes years to get through. im detoxing at the minute, and im soo poorly, its horrible and i couldnt imagine just cuttin it straight off. methadone's just a cheap and legal way of having heroin. it does exactly the same thing, buh its just a safer way. you can get a methadone script in prison. buh i think, why should drug addcits be locked up for petty crime to fund thur habits? why use the spaces up that could be used for real criminals murderers etc... why cant ''junkies'' be put thru a detox programme with the right support?
xxx thanks hun, i really appericate it, tis really nice of yaxxxx

What's the specials role then :S I am confused, I wanted to be a front-line policeman ages ago, but now I'm gonna go to university to study criminology. You're a recovering addict? My uncle was a heroin addict, was also on the meow meow crap till 2 years ago. If you want advice, I can ask him for you?
yeah hun, im a recovering heroin addict, was a ''junkie'' for 2 years, and also smoked crack, buh heroin is my main problem as its a physicially addictive drug. im on a methadone script now, ive reduced from 60ml to 40ml in 2 weeks, and im having proper bad withdrawels. so yeh, if you can ask your uncle, if he's got any tips, because i feel like wrappin tap around my legs and around a chair just so i dont have the pain in my legs I'll ask him later, good luck with it. I wouldn't call every addict a junkie. There's some people who just do it, and don't care and won't try to get off it. But there are those who got caught up in it.
I remember him going through the withdrawal years back, it's the most distressing thing ever. Have you found yourself eating fruit? My uncle somehow ate loads of oranges and sometimes limes. No idea why, he just craved it. Try eating sugary stuff, but preferably natural sugary stuff. Tea, is what kept my uncle sane too. He found these things relaxing, and that's what you need to do. Is relax, and get yourself on another level.
Do you and your partner have a bike? Go out cycling to fight temptation. But keep the methadone script with you, and take a fruit salad. If you don't have bikes, why not go for a weekend trek in the countryside? I'm sure if you can tire yourself out naturally, your body's craving will eventually give in and go away

Sussex police still looking for the thugs who attacked me 3 years ago, I wonder what they're doing in these operations? I have nothing against the police, I'm just saying one of the hot spots have no presence in what-so-ever, and when people report crime nothing's done. I understand Brighton's got a nasty heroin scene in the underground parts, but it doesn't take the whole Brighton unit to find them, surely? They have the CiD lot, and criminologists to find them.
they have certian units like 'drug squad' 'riot squad' 'traffic police' etc.. im sure brighton does have a massive drug sence, buh theres alot of places that are the same. you shouldnt give up hun, people that do wrong, it usually comes back and bites them on the arse!! real hard That I'm aware of indeed, I do believe in karma. So I hope they've paid.
It could have been worse, I'm the lippiest person ever though, so opening my mouth when the shouted at me was my fault. Could have been worse, but in all fairness. The beating was nothing..

Crisps are nice, but really push yourself to eat fruit. It's healthier, and from what I gathered from my uncle's experience it helped, try watermelon? Everyone loves watermelon!
For the support, you have us. I'm sure you'd not be ridiculed for coming to the forums for a bit of motivational support, as most of lads on here are intimidating, they have hearts. If it's any consolation, I suffer from bi-polar, and I know how it feels to feel alone. But what you need to actually understand is, there's people who actually care about the welfare of others. Why else do we post on the forums? We care about the future of our nation, and as a member of this nation we should be helping you. We can't go forward if we don't help one another, we're only as fast as the slowest person.
Try to go to one group, you're all in the same boat, you're all trying to get out of the storm. Retreating from it will not help and you'll end up worse. People are one of the best remedies for situations like the one you're in, give it a chance.

everyone stand on the POLICE?
i was gonna be a special buh my ex was like noo! and then i got a criminal record, so im not allowed to join for 5 years :(#
buh i have noticed most of the edl, hate the police!
i thought they dealt with the demo in bolton, in a brilliant way!
so....
Very true mate. My only gripe is that a lot of them don't seem to mind, they'll hit anyone with a baton if it means a gauranteed pension.

Determination will get you through the addiction, and what drives motivation? Self-esteem. If you feel proud watching the demos, imagine how you'd feel being in the demo. It'd give you a self-esteem push. Don't regret what you've done, use it to fuel your dreams. You've done terrible things, you know did wrong. But use that to help you get out of it, you know how it feels, you know what it can do to people. If there was more people using their experience to help others, this world would be so much better than what it is, don't give up.

thanks hun, buh i hate watermelon!! buh i will defo go and get more fruit. i dont eat enough food as it is anyway, so having a fruit salad should do me good. i have a vendin machine fridge ( a small bedroom 1 not the mini 1 its bigger than them ) in my room, and ive got chocolate, crisps, sweets and drinks init. ive proper found tha i jus cant stop eatin s**t at the minute, and then i worry am gona get fat, then wantin the binge and be sick, my insinct for tha kicks in, so i feel like im always havin guilty thoughts. its really hard cause altho i got myself into this mess, people dont understand even the papers call everyone junkies' ano people tha have thur own business's and are heroin addicts, why tarr everyone wif the same brush. im actually quite shocked how nice everyone has been. i didnt write it for sympthy, i actually thought no1 would read it, or, no1 would realise what it says. its really nice not to be judged. and it actually made me cry because no1 wants to be mates wif me around here coz im a ''junkie'' and i am scared coz ano its only gona get worst. i cant stand tablets like subutex so i dont wanna swap meth for subutex (u have to suck them yukk!!) so i wanna detox str8 off the methadone which is gona be 1 of the biggest and hardest battles iv ever had to do. and i really dnt fink i can cope wif it. and ano every1s thur for the same reason, buh it jus freaks me out havin to sit in a room full of people, i cant even sit in a waiting room wifout feelin sick and angry. im waiting to here from ma drug doctor, baht going for cogitive behavioural therapy. ( cbt ) xxxx I think it'd be ridiculous to be apart of a group that cares for the country, because the country is made up of its people. Me, you, and the rest of us. We need to look out for each other, how else to do we become stronger? United for a greater cause.
It may freak you out, but it's not mandatory, you don't have to go. If you feel uneasy, leave. but good luck with anything, once I get word from my uncle, I'll let you know.

Eating banana's is actually a good sign, try to add fruit to your snacks. <br /><br />Crisps are nice, but really push yourself to eat fruit. It's healthier, and from what I gathered from my uncle's experience it helped, try watermelon? Everyone loves watermelon!<br /><br />For the support, you have us. <br /><br />Try to go to one group, you're all in the same boat, you're all trying to get out of the storm. Retreating from it will not help and you'll end up worse. People are one of the best remedies for situations like the one you're in, give it a chance.
That's a lovely, caring post, Englishmandylan. You've got a good heart. I can't sit around knowing people are suffering, I feel obliged to help them.

thanks hun, thats proper lovely of you, and id really grateful. just need some tips really, how to cope with withdrawels and etc.. buh thanks again, xxxxxxx My advice is try to attend one of those group meetings. You'll meet people like yourself, you'll be able to relate to them that way. They may know tips themselves, and you may know tips to help them. I'm sure they'd make them enjoyable, and relaxing so people feel more welcome.
Gotta try these things atleast once

wouldnt do it because you become a paid enforcer of this goverment and their bulls**t laws. once your on their payroll you can be made to do their bidding, locked into it just to pay bills/mortages etc. i dont hate the police, i forgive them for they know not what they do..

Wear my ACAB tattoo with pride. yeah yeah i know theres decent ones but all my experiences with pigs are corruptness and our political force of a police. Same way as it was shown at Edinburgh demo, they are all political puppets.
