Holy Moly. In the space of 18 hours they have discovered over 200 bogus applications that have been fraudulently signed.

This is one satellite office of one college. Tip of the iceberg.

The potential scale of the problem is scary.

Living in Birmingham you can see the result of it everywhere.

Totally agree.

Eastern European workers are probably much better workers. The question that wasn't asked is why. No one can deny that British people are as good as anyone else. The issue in the cases of many at that end of the job market is they are not as hungry as the imported labour. They have not known hardship or fear of hardship like the immigrant labour.

If push came to shove and it was a choice of no work no money I'm sure they would soon buck their ideas up.

They don't even need to worry about student visa's. I was in Bilston Job Centre Plus today and two asian males walked in with a very poor command of the English language. They wanted to know how they could claim benefits. They had no N.I. No.s. The Job Centre Plus assistant gave them a telephone number, so they could ring and get a temporary N.I. number. Directed them to a telephone which they could use F.O.C. within the centre. She then told them that once they have there N.I. numbers they could then process there claim. GREAT BRITAIN.

You might need to boycott food altogether.

Probably wouldn't do me any harm to have hunger strike or two.

I have no issue with the foreign workers that are here legally. Fair play to them for going to huge lengths to improve their lot.

My problem is with the government that have created a system which means that not working is a better option than working for many. It might mean I get stuff from Tesco cheaper but I pay for it in another way. Through my taxes being spent on benefits for the people that otherwise would be doing those jobs for a better wage.

Not the immigrants fault.

Not the British workers fault.

Definitely NuLabours fault and EUSSRs fault.

@cumbria & @lord nelson ,do you agree that with a uk jobs market that is open to europeans and taking into account of the uks unemployment figures of 2.4 million and an immigration figure of 2.6 million eastern europeans we who are unemployed are in a bit of a dilema.I sign on every other Monday 9.30 to 12.30 to say my jcp is over whelmed is an understatement, they have now opened up a second office to soak up the overspill.you may be lucky to have full employment at this time,if your employ ever does end I hope you get lucky.I'm hungry, very hungry, and very angry,to say I've been treated like s**t in the jcp office does not get close,I agree to a certain extent about benifit abuse,a family opp me have never worked dad,mum and 17 year old free rent, bmw, holiday in burmuda.I don't even look at them.we get sfa, only jsa.
So when you post in future please be a bit more charitable.thank you. Tj.

Pale Rider.

Apologies if my comments came across as in anyway laying the blame at the door of genuine jobseekers. Really not the impression I was trying to convey.

I think I quite clearly stated this in one of my posts - I blame the government, not the British worker, not the immigrant worker.

Immigrant labour has suppressed wages. At the same time it has become easier to play the benefits system.

Due to immigrant labour suppressing wages and also the fact that due to differing personal situations of many immigrant workers compared to the indiginous workforce it is extremely difficult to compete.

I do not blame you, I support you and believe that British people should be able to compete in a labour market where there is a level playing field. Immigrant labour can often compete on unfair terms.

I do also believe that the soft benefit culture has had a huge negative impact on this.

I'm on your side and I am fairly sure Cumbria is too.

Thats a stereotypical anti british comment keeping in with what the programme wrongly tried to highlight. British people would shovel s**t all day long for a decent wage also, if that wage was enough to pay rent, mortgage, bills, food, clothes etc and a quality of life. Sadly thats far from reality and british people are kept on the breadline due to cheap labour consisting of every f**ker under the sun happy to work for low wages ten to a house sending money home so your anti british worker rant falls on deaf ears to the majority.

I would hardly call it a rant and I think he has a point.

I think you have a valid point too.

The key question is why?

Due to corrupt government practices of importing immigrant votes.

Would like to point out that I don't blame business for this either.

They also have to compete and if the firm down the road is using cheaper immigrant labour then they will have to also to compete.

I say it again, this is the fault of government.

Right behind you PR.

Im in the fortunate position of having a job and really feel for those trying to find work at the moment when they have to compete with half the known world for few jobs.

This is a huge problem for the British worker.

Labour (well, parliament as a whole really) have truly betrayed the British working classes. They must be brought to book.

Not wasting our time at all.

It is important to get the points across to people that we are making.

Basically we have all been let down by parliament. People should take this up with their MPs and not blame the immigrant, the business or the British worker for the problem.
