We have all seen the s**te in the papers today about the EU imposing rules upon us regarding benefit payouts to peaople who just don't deserve them
My question is......what the hell would the EU do if our goverment(obviously not this one but the next) stood up and said NO. We will not do as you say.
What are they going to do. Invade us ????? Impose sanctions....i'm sure that not all of europe would be happy with that.
It would be interesting

Our government actually have no power anymore. They are only still there because if they weren't everyone in the UK would wake up to what the EU is really doing - creating one big superstate like the Soviet Union.

We need to leave the EU very soon but this will be very difficult. It is obvious that the EU are trying to make Britain so weak until the point where they know we can never fight back.

European law supercedes our own when it is handed down in the form of a Directive. To refuse to enforce it would have similar consequences to a charge of contempt of court in a criminal trial. the UK govt would be fined and there would be possibility of charges being brought against our ministers. .To ignore a directive would bring the wrath of the member states down upon us and we would be ostracized, sanctioned, suspended from the EU and proscripted, our trade agreements would be reversed, resulting in economic disaster.

I'm pretty sure the EU are trying to cause an economic disaster in the UK anyway though Albion_1969.

This is important this subject. Google eutruth and watch EU Dictatorship and the police state. I think the EDL should vent their wrath at the govt. and councils and the rest of the people forcing this upon us. There will be a lot more of what the leaderdship of the EDL experienced to come. All eu directives and laws. Not ours.

the EU has nothing to gain from causing a recession in one of its member states, we contribute huge amounts of cash to the union, and recieve huge subsidies in return. it may look as though they are trying to cause trouble for our economy, but thats mainly spin from the govt who have tried to put a pound in and take a fiver out.

Read Dr Vernon Colemans book England Our England, the facts about the eu are frightening. Our mp,s are now redundant since like turkeys voting for christmas they signed our sovereignty away. Othe countries pick and choose what suits them, our traitors slavishly obey every dictat of this corrupt unelected money wasting regime.

They could do absolutely nothing. They wouldn't be able to invade us, as an Island nation it is too hard. We're a net contributor to the EU, so they get more money from us than we do from them. They also get more trade (imports) from us than we get exports to them. We'd gain a hell of a lot trade wise being out of the EU. And no they couldn't hit us with trade barriers, the WTO stopped most of that back in the mid '90s. However it won't happen because the LibLabCon are all Bilderbergers, NWO, Global Government worshippers and they're all intent on taking us down the same route whilst lining their own pockets. Oh and you can thank the EU for VAT, because it was only introduced in the UK when we joined the EEC in 1973
