i have a feeling this was driven by Murdoch. he's been trying to take Google down for years as he claims they are detrimental to his business interests. the ruling is ridiculous. the law has long stated that a broadcaster is not responsible for the words or actions of those it broadcasts. Im guessing thats why it was heard in an italian and not a british or american courtroom. the italian justice system is rife with corruption. |
