We need a petition on here and facebook to stop our kids being force fed Islam, whether they or their parents agree or not.Recent posts on here and from all areas of the U.K suggest that islam is being taught to our kids through stealth.Yet the Muslim kids are excused from contact with any other religon than their own. What we need is a statement similar to that of Banning the Burka.Stating we reject the forcing of Islamic Norms and teaching on our kids. Unless parents consent.Petition would be good, here we would have Megga support. |

Good idea to have a petition, I'd sign it. We are sleepwalking into letting our kids be brainwashed and the teachers and unions are complicit in this back door islamification. |

There is a law dating back to 1944 (which is definatly still in effect now) which states any parent can write a letter to their childs headteacher requesting that their is taught no form of religious education other than their own and the school has to legally oblige. Mosques tell all muslims to use this law to not let their children be taught cristianity and demand that local education authoritys fund at least two assemblys of islamic education weekly. In my local paper (birmingham) about 2 weeks ago it was reported that 29 schools in birmingham have a child population of over 50% muslim and all of these schools have 2 islamic assemblies per week.

Section 25(4) of the Education Act, 1944 gives the right to a parent to withdraw his/her child from both collective worship and RE. This right remains unchanged in the 1988 Education Act. Write this to your school ; Sir, I hereby give notice to you as Head Teacher that I wish to withdraw my child from all Religious Education lessons as is my right under Section 25 ( 4 ) of the Education Act 1944 and under the Education Act 1988. I wish you to take legal note of the factthat I do not wish my child to have any lessons, lectures, religious or social lessons that concern in particular Islam and all associated religious / secular lessons of a political or religious nature that in any way mention Islam either as a religion or as a social / political movement or presence in Britain. Can you please confirm in writing that the school has removed my child from any and all of these religious lessons and that alternative education arrangements have been made to ensure my child is in a safe and secure environment whilst at school and not in those lessons whilst other children in his/her class or classes receive their Islamic indoctrination via the school as ordered by the British state. |

Deffo needs a facebook group or something. Doesn't need to be obviously linked to the EDL. I might mention it to my sisters who have kids and get them to send that letter to school. See if they can get other parents to do the same. |

I think this is quite important and I was going to say should be made a sticky, but then I hate a forum where half of every page is stickies. It definitely should go in some sort of help forum, I don't have children but if I did I'd be firing off a letter tomorrow to the school. Our schools are full of Lefties and they need to be stopped from indoctrinating our kids with Islam. |

my first responce is a troll called Samuel Watkins, You want to make your child ignorant of Islam? I would want to reduce any kind of ignorance in my child, I hope you don't actually have children, and i said. i dont want my child learning any religion, not just islam. |

I'm 26 and i got teached Islam in School, we even got sent to a Mosque for a Muslim to show us how they pray in Mosques and teached us to do it. I turned out to be an Athiest. This is a petition i'll sign, because no one should be forced to go to a Mosque and forced to pray for educational perposes. I have a Catholic school in my town, and my nethews go to it, i have no idea if they get teached Islam in it, hope not. Edited by Night_Crawler, Feb 18 2010, 09:55 PM.

All part of the governments instituionalised brainwashing, like dropping history from the curriculum. The police, judicary, educational system, local councils, have all been corrupted. Then theres the subtle suggestions via tv that gets into the nations psyche. |

Does that link not effectively say (and quite clearly too) that Western culture is wholly incompatible with Islamic values and that they should seek to section themselves off as much as possible? It reads that way to me. Clear evidence of islamification and clear evidence of deliberate refusal to be multicultural or to try and fit in. |

Back to school today and kids are taking their letters in, also managed to get one of their friends parents to do the same. Added at bottom of letter "if you or xxxxx's religious studies teacher wish to discuss this matter further please don't hesitate to contact me" Hoping RE teacher invites me in she used to teach the wife and she said she's a right leftie bitch and was quite frightening as a kid. Fingers crossed she wants to enlighten me lol |
