if 10,000 muslims go to our capital we should class that as a serious threat to national security.who do these people think they are, that they think we will stand by and do nothing. what would happen if 10,000 english christians went to karachi to protest. ????? their army and police would create a blood bath with our blood. |

O.K. What's the general feeling? Is London going to be a general mobolization and a full turnout. Are we to put Bolton back? Right then, I used to live in London, but now I live in the Midlands. If I travel to London I will go by car. I suggest that anybody travelling by car should park up, in and around Statford/Bow/Leyton area and use the central line tube to get to the destination. Obviously it depends from which direction you are coming in. I could possibly offer a lift for upto three members. Who live between W'ton & London. Organise transport sharing. |

Templar, it's not 'official' so to speak but MLK (London division organiser) has said it does have London division backing. I think that's all we need really, we can attend as EDL. |

Charlie you are wrong on all counts as usual. Being a muslim means you do recognise any nation other than the nation of Islam. As this is the English nation it is out of place. Geert is one of the only politicans worldwide that has the nuts to speak out about islam and its expansionist nature and deserves our support. How you can compare Islan with ,modern day christianity is beyond me. And yes to me if someone is anti english I cannot extrapolate that from being totally against the english. That can never make sense. |

No this should be official, the admins never make any of these London protests official, ok I know the 31st October counter choudary (who never showed up in central london) was on the same day as Leeds and that should've always been the main thing so that was fine, but the Harrow one could've been made into an official protest and the 5th March central london support geert wilders demo should have official backing on here so we get massive support cos the more numbers we have for supporting geert, the more publicity we'll get and it should and better be peaceful after the stoke nightmare so this demo needs at least 300 of us. |

Probably end up with 100 no more than that without an 'official' announcement. That's enough though, we forced choudary away with less. |

Right, I've just heard that MLK (London organiser) has made an announcement a while ago on facebook concerning march 5th. So for anyone needing clarification, he has taken to promoting this event and we can safely assume it has the official backing of the local division under the EDL name. I'm not on there so can't provide a link, I'd advise you to check it out if in doubt. |

I have always believed that Geert Wilders is more important to the future of Europe then most people could ever realise, because he is a beacon of light, that shows a path out of this darkness that stands before us, and offers us hope that a political figure can be found, excepted by the majority of the people regardless of the media lies and the political correctness, and voted into power with a mandate to not only stop the Islamification of Europe but to give power back to the people by giving them the options to vote on issues that affect their way of life. Geert Wilders if the first of his type to offer this. If he is successful many more will follow in his steps across Europe. If this happens then your vote will actually mean something for once. So IMHO, the demo in London at this time, is probably one of the most important demos most people are ever likely to attend. The eyes of the world will be there, especially those of the voters in Holland. Other politicians who were put on trial in Europe. BELGIUM Filip de Winter Three foundations associated with the then Vlaams Blok (Flemish Bloc) in Belgium were convicted in 2004 for inciting hatred and discrimination. The decision read, in part, that "The Flemish Bloc is a party that knowingly and systematically incites discrimination... They treat immigrants as criminals, evildoers, fanatics who will never integrate and a threat to native Belgians." The case was appealed to Strasbourg, but the European court decided not to hear it. The reasons for this decision remain unclear, but legally it means the court accepts the Belgian decision. The party changed its name, but after an initial surge at the time of the court case, has now lost popularity. Daniel Féret He was convicted in 2006 of inciting hatred during election campaigns between 1999 and 2001. Mr Féret wrote and distributed leaflets and posters for his party. He advocated various anti-immigrant policies, including banning immigrants from buying houses, and creating ethnic ghettos. Mr Feret's punishment included a ten-year ban on participation in politics, and 250-hours of community service at an institution helping immigrants integrate into Belgian society. NORWAY In 1997, a Norwegian court convicted Jack-Erik Kjuss, leader of the White Electoral Alliance (Hvit valgallianse, or HV), of promoting racial discrimination for advocating forced sterilisation of all non-white residents of Norway. The Norwegian Supreme Court upheld the case, and the European court let that decision stand. FRANCE In 2004, far-right Front National leader Jean-Marie Le Pen was fined 10,000 euros for inciting hatred toward Muslims. He had said in Le Monde that the French should "beware" of the day when France would have 25 million Muslims instead of 5 million, because "it is they who will command" and "the French will have to hug their walls and lower their eyes." ITALY In Verona, six members of the Northern League political party were tried in 2004 for their campaign against Roma and Sinti people. Their 2001-slogan was "For the security of our citizens - banish the gypsies from our home." The six were convicted of inciting hatred, but Italy's Court of Cassation overturned the verdict in 2008. Other politicians have made controversial remarks, without facing any legal action. Far-right politician Daniela Santanchè last year called the prophet Muhammad a "paedophile". Italian reforms minister Roberto Calderoli resigned in 2006 after wearing a T-shirt with one of the Danish 'Muhammad cartoons'. And Benito Mussolini's granddaughter, Allessandra, said all Romanians are criminals. GERMANY Former extreme-right NPD party leader Günter Deckert has been convicted and sentenced to prison a number of times. In 1994, a Mannheim appeals court hailed Deckert as a strong and responsible person who had clear convictions and who had spent considerable time and energy on those convictions. His Holocaust revisionism was described by the judge as emanating from a "legitimate interest". Two of the judges were later suspended and a retrial was ordered; Deckert was sentenced to a full two years in prison without parole. Current NPD leader Udo Voigt was handed a seven-months suspended sentence last year for inciting racial hatred in connection with a 2006 pamphlet which ridiculed the only black German player to take part in the football World Cup competition. |

If they jail Geert Wilders, I hope there are full scale riots across Holland. I mean full throttle, violent, smash-the-place-up riots! Drag the Dutch government the fcuk out by the throat and try them one by one for their crimes. Someone had the right idea recently on one of the threads here, every single active member needs to convince another 10 people to start supporting EDL and turning up at these demos. We need to all start helping the growth of this movement. We need 100,000 attendees. We need to make these fcukers listen!! |

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader. Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. NS! | |

We need MLK to stipulate a meeting place. Parliament Square will be blocked off as could other roads. Somewhere like Marble Arch. It is only a 20 minute walk from there. |

To those of you who are going to this (I can't because I will be out of the country at the time), maybe a couple of signs just saying 'JOIN THE ENGLISH DEFENCE LEAGUE' would be good. If this event does get a lot of TV and media coverage they might not actually say who the people are that are there to support Geert. However, a photo of a 'JOIN THE ENGLISH DEFENCE LEAGUE' in the newspapers or some time shown on the BBC news might get us a few more members, even if the English Defence League are not mentioned. |

Someone said before that it's not hard to get the radicals Muslims upset (and reveal their true colours) But we also don't want to go too far and be overly offensive (shouting 'Mohammed was a paedophile' probably isn't going to get us much sympathy) If it's so easy to get radical Muslims upset, then surely we can use quite inoffensive (perhaps purposefully childish) chants or banners: 'Burqas look silly', 'What's with the hate beards?', etc Perhaps they're a little too provocative (!!!). So how about pointing out the bloody obvious, or setting them up for a fall? 'What's wrong with England?', 'What's Geert done wrong?', 'Where are the lies in Fitna?', 'You look angry' How about being overly sarcastic? 'Welcome to England', 'Thanks for your contribution Islam', 'Welcome to the land of hope and glory', 'The EDL: Patiently waiting to hear from moderate Islam' On the other subject... In my view, Mohammed wasn't a paedophile - they didn't have any such term back then, so it's unfair to judge him by today's standards. He wasn't a paedophile - but if someone behaved as he did today, then we could call them a paedophile So Muslims definitely shouldn't view him as the ideal man. They definitely shouldn't seek to emulate his behaviour. I've no problem with them believing that he was a prophet (believe what you like about that) - but in terms of his 'relations' with young girls, don't tell me that we don't now know better. |
