The message got out 2 loads of stokies Saturday even thought there where a few hick-ups check this sweetheart out I AM very concerned about the "True colours of the EDL" column you put in the paper yesterday. I am a member of the English Defence League (EDL). I am a 19-year-old woman from Stoke. I do not have a shaved head, I did not cover my face and I do not have a problem with the colour or religion of anyone. I am not a racist and certainly did not cause any criminal damage, injure police, or generally cause any intentional distress to the public. We stand for stopping the very discrimination and judgment you have placed on us. The Sentinel supports the young lads of the British Army, who also have shaved heads, and not only that use weapons, to shoot Muslim extremists and the Taliban every day. You stand by them but not us? If you are not standing by the EDL, do you stand with the Muslim extremists? If you are a woman, do you accept that if you cheat on your partner he can stone you to death? Or maybe you stand by the Sharia law of a husband beating his wife daily? This is what we protested for – it was a few idiots who got too caught up and angry at the police, which is wrong. They made the EDL look bad. However, we were supposed to be allowed to march and we only got to go from Wetherspoons to Argos, whereas the UAF (United Against Facism) marched from Shelton to Hanley. Yet again, in our own country, they were prioritised over us. You show our banners saying we are against extremism. However, you didn't show the banners of the UAF saying 9/11 is coming to Britain soon. I think it's disgusting that you print such columns when you obviously don't have the facts or correct information about anything that went on that day. I don't think you're even sure what the EDL is or what it stands for. For the record, we are not the BNP and are not racist. In future, go ahead, print what you want about the EDL. People will make their own minds up. If we do not protest about the Muslim extremists, soon enough the war that you see on the news while eating your tea will soon be in Britain, outside your front door. This is what we protest against. Yet you think we are bad people when we are trying to protect British people from the terrible outcome of allowing Muslim extremists to roam around this country, openly telling us that Islamification of the UK is coming. If you look around, it is already halfway here. We will not stop until we are listened to. We are bringing England back to the people and think it's shame on you for not printing a balanced column. what a star go on duck http://www.thisisstaffordshire.co.uk/letters/shouting-UK/article-1754548-detail/article.html |
