More than 2000 photographers protested in Trafalgar Square against the prevention of terrorist act section 44 stop and search laws. The police have been abusing these powers by stopping news photographers, tourists and the general public from taking photographs of public buildings. This protest coincided with the EDL's protest in Stoke. Their protest was shown on Sky news repeatedly all day. The first time the EDL's protest was mentioned on Sky news was early evening, for only a few seconds. If you had of blinked you would have missed it. I think they do this so no one can accuse them of media censorship but at the same time it's as good as. This just proves the government are trying to keep a lid on the EDL.This just makes me want to spread the message all the more as most people that I know, don't know of the EDL or what they are all about. I have managed to inform quite a few people now and hopefully they will spread the message. Who knows in a years time the EDL will have doubled. LONG LIVE THE EDL.

Next thing you know police will be arresting people for using Google Earth!
I may criticize the EDL a bit, but I support the cause 100%.
Armchair division. I may not go to demos, but I'm there in spirit.

Weren't there complaints about that before? Because criminals were using it to find the best entry points into the house and where they could make their escape etc. Also they were checking out what cars and other vehicles people had.

Of course the news coverage is censored. It's viewed as free advertising for the EDL. So, they say as little as possible and they always get the , "far-right" in there.
