Dosen't really make much sense as the EDL wants to distance itself from fascist organisations such as the BNP so it goes and holds a demonstration in one of most far right cities in the UK. I read on another ofrum that Stoke requested an EDL demo but who was actually making the request?A few Stoke members on this forum have been open about supporting the BNP and this alone should have been enough to set alarm bells ringing.

Back in 2001 Stoke was the scene of some clashes between the police and local Muslim youths who thought a BNP march was going to take place in thier area.No march took place but rumours spread by the far right were enough to start a minor race riot.

If the BNP are going to have any success at the GE it is going to be in Stoke as they are now in a strong enough position to finish in second place. There main problem is UKIP.If they can persuade the electorate that Stoke has a serious Islamic problem they might just get enough people to change sides and win a seat.

Saturday's violence was steeered by the far right who hoped for a repeat of the 2001 riot.Look how rumours spread about an EDL march on a Muslim area and mosques being perol bombed. These were the same dark forces at work again as the BNP desperately tries to diminish the UKIP vote.

Forget about the fight in the pub, that was just two football firms having a go at each other, but the violence,or attempted violence, outside was well planned and could even have been sparked off by BNP elements in the police service.

or even UAF scum bags.
The BNP has distanced itself from us and perhaps we should do so by not even mentioning nore unfound blame towards them.

Not more BNP crap. People need to relax, and stop minds doing overtime.

When we were at Keele, the police slipped implants into our coffee, and next time we watch Wizard of Oz and Dorothy clicks her heels, we're all gonna get up and run naked round the garden 27 times.

Like it or not the EDL is a political force that is at the mercy of anyone astute enough to use it.
