There was a guy there with a disablity scooter, did anyone speak to him? I wanted to but felt as though I'd be being patronising or something like that. He definitely seemed to be enjoying himself though
if that was the fella with crutches i fink i saw him too, in the march an also at the end after we broke free a copper launced him to the floor coz he couldnt walk very fast and his piggy 'mate' found it hillarious

No mate, the chap on crutches was someone else. The guy I am talking about was a guy on one of those scooter things. He was a well dressed chap in a blue shirt and tie.

OK This is in response to a thread that has been recently closed! It seems some members are getting slated because they haven't attended demo's! So f**ing what so long as they support the cause of the EDL. They are here aren't they? They show interest and from what I have seen will promote the EDL anyway they can! Would you rather swap them for pieces of dirt that smash up innocent peoples property?

OK I joined a couple of weeks ago and I whole heartedly support the cause! I however do not support hangers on who do not give a s**t and are there just for a piss up and fight! Those who I have seen targeted do not fall into that category!

I didn't go to the Stoke demo! Why?

1) My kid stops at weekends (Non Negotiable)
2) I have just started a legal battle for residency (Don't need any extra problems, i.e demo, wrong place at wrong time and up the creek - Non Negotiable)
3) I ain't got the money at the mo

However if and when those circumstances change you can guarantee I might change my mind (Why might? A: I don't want to put myself in a position that could cause me problems with #2)

I may not be able to attend demo's at the moment but that DOES NOT put me in a position where I cannot help out! I will put everything in, if that means getting people onside, delivering/distributing leaflets, designing logo's etc and even putting a hand in with the IT if and when I am trusted! There is at least 3 members on this site who know who I am and how I have helped out on other sites with good causes and how dedicated I am!

My point is that just because someone doesn't turn up to demo's doesn't mean they are not 100% dedicated or a f**ing troll as has been said! They can contribute in other ways so don't knock them!

ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL - NO SURRENDER!
mate, I try and attend the demos cause I can, and have no problems with those who don't for whatver reasons. But I note that a lot of knee jerk reaction after Stole came from those who never attended. So perhaps they should wait for those who did to comment on what the media has reported before making statements or accusing certain groups, people etc.
I have a dozen mates who have joined and only two of us have attended to date, I think none the less (other than the odd armchair warrior jibe, when they start to out the wrongs to right!!)
We're all in this together, and no suurender. EVER

Who put my title as "Armchair division"? ^o)
Might have been southwestEDL, is he still moaning and taking his anger out on people from the other day? Probably....

Whoever it is grow the f**k up mod and don't go putting any bollocks by my name.....
As far as im aware southwest was absolutely pissed out of his twatter when he went off on one, thats no excuse, but we all know when the drinks flowing abit heavy dont we? ^o) hmm.

People need to stop slagging the mods off, Zcott I wasn't "drunk" but you certainly did my head in, so I'm not suprised. You can have an opinion yes we aren't here to be pollitcally correct but when your slaundering us all when you don't understand what its like to be in a certain situation is putting those little feet of yours into a big pair of shoes.

Anyway enough of he said she said its over and done with now.

DaveUK, only just realised who you are. I'm Sues daughter, not sure whether she told you as she forgot to tell me.

Onwards and upwards people.

I wasn't slagging anyone off, it was just a suggestion. Nothing wrong with that is there. But I must admit, previously I didn't think of what it was like to be in those situations, like when violence kicks off, you think it's the alcohol, but you actually learn that it's the police either ketteling people in to an area, or, police smashing someone over the head with a shield. It's all part of learning. But no need for someone to get extremely pissed ff over it.

Onwards and upwards.

Well I'm glad you've seen the green side of the grass.

Anyway I think we just need to stop the fighting now, we had a few cracks on the night of Stoke but lets fill them up. So the UAF can FUCK OFF about there articles saying were crumbling, those who left now, its a good thing. Where a new organisation and were in for some tough learning curves, if people couldn't handle this minor set back, then they would of had no chance in the long run. We need to be taught the lesson before we sit the exam, and well those who have gone obviously just didn't have the ink in there pens.

Sorry about the over use of metaphors, all of this bloody English work I have to do!

I think Stoke was a bit bad for everyone, that's for everyone I think. But from videos, pictures, and reports, the vast majority of it was peaceful.

Come on southampton demo! :D

ask not what the edl can do for you, but what you can do for the edl.

just like to say those that cant make it for whatever reason, your suppoirt is valued as your the guys and gals that, (take whaty happened saturday) can tell those that question us the truth about us, the real edl and not the twats that ruin it. edl needs everybodies support not just those that turn up. so if someone is having a pop about you not going to demos take it up with them and not the edl. ruby is there anybody that can take you to a demo, i dont know what your disability is but i too am disabled, could you not get in touch with your local division as they maybe able to help, if your in a wheelchair i understand how intimidating a large crowd can be (SCI C5 incomplete, walker). let me and maybe we can sought you out for a demo if you'd like. daveuk understand completely, family first always, no one has the right to question that, i'd be the same. now we need to stop all this bickering cos it dont look to good and there are those that are loving this. so lets wipe our mouths, and move forwards!

This won't stop us, it was only a little knock.

We will go forwards, with the spirit of St. George running through our veins, we shall never surrender! Britain never surrenders!

Also, @EDL, out of interest, are you going to be the Hampshire organizer?

Thanks for thinking of me hon, sad to hear you are disabled too.
I'm a wheelchair user but S/amptom might be do-able, I will see nearer the time, I barely leave the house to be honest.

As an observer I've noticed people are a bit hyper after a demo and it can go either way... euphoric
or down, angry and depressed. It's a bit like a rock band after a gig I reckon..... people need time to talk it out and get a perspective
on how it went. It's a big investment of emotions, what with the planning and waiting for the event to happen so
it's understandable.
Maybe using the chatroom to let off steam away from the publics' view would help.
EDIT. To say perhaps a rule of, no resignations, in the week after a demo would be an idea.
